PERSONAL HISTORY:
Shireen Ka'ra Ad was born into the nomadic Ka'ra'ade Mandalorian Covert of Clan Fett descent from Shogun. In the distant past, the covert was once a Mandalorian Clan of its own; believed to be descendant by a filial cadet line to the great Mand'alor the Rebuilder. Such a claim had been programmed into their armor's Mandalorian Chain Code, as well as tempered into the forging of their Clan's warriors.

However, in the generations after Mand'alor the Rebuilder and during the sundering of the various Mandalorian hegemonies and clans, the Ka'ra'ade Clan was decimated into a meagre remnant. In order to survive, the remnants married into Clan Fett. By Shireen's time they were an estranged cadet branch of Clan Fett and keeping to themselves on Shogun, until the rise of the current Mandalorian Empire caused them to flee to become a nomadic covert.

In the Ka'ra'ade Covert, based on their Cumulus-class Corsair The Ka'ra'ade, Shireen was trained under the preserved tenants of the old Neo-Crusader Mandalorian Creed. However, she was also tempered into a warrior under the dogma of Akaanati'kar'oya which promoted the theology of: war and struggle as sacred and the divine right of the victorious warrior. This made Shireen into the zealous and merciless Mandalorian Marauder she is today. By her teens she had joined the Covert's Rally Master on reaving attacks, slaver raids, and mercenary missions.

By her twenties she killed the last Covert Head, the Alor'ad (or Captain), in a Blood Duel Rite. Taking control of the Ka'ra'ade Covert, Shireen begins her holy mission to wage crusade upon the rest of the galaxy and fullfill what her creed declares as 'what is best in life'; that being: 'to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the victory cries of the ancestors.' Since then the Ka'ra'ade Covert, and more specifically Shireen, has gained a reputation as a ruthless Mandalorian pirate, reaver, slaver, plunderer, mercenary and marauder of the Old Neo-Crusader Way.

• Ka'ra Ad: Shireen's surname is actually a Mando'a Phrase, meaning something akin to Daughter of the Ancient Fallen Kings (of Mandalorian Myth) which is a reference to the clan's belief they are descendants of the very first Post-Plague Mand'alor: Mand'alor the Rebuilder. ​
• Clan Harem: As a Pirate Marauder, Shireen Ka'ra Ad has accumulated a Harem of Women and Men as Personal Servants and Favored Concubines. Some have be taken from their home as raiding plunder, others purchased from slavers and adopted into the Clan, and some have even been as tribute from other Mando'ade Warriors' possessions.
