Expansion, and the struggle for independence!​

The bastion world of Atrisia had, through thick and thin, overcome the ages with some semblance of their original culture. However, time and time again had proven that war machines and egos grander in scale would come and exert their influence, brutalizing the ancient world. Today marked yet another intrusion upon this world and its kingdoms.​

Bereft of an alliance to stop them, the First Order seeks to add another white feather to its cap as it works toward a goal of galactic stability. Romanticized tales of old Atrisian warriors bedazzle and captivate the minds of the regional governors, and the chance to further expand the economy of the outward looking empire puts Atrisia down as prime real estate. All is not as easy as it seems, however. Initial Security Bureau reports notate a significant number of opposition in the form of a bloc of influencers who seek solace from the might of the First Order’s expansion. Though Supreme Leader and the Moffs have been benevolent enough to not seek out a path of outward violence for the sake of the world’s historical significance, resistance proves enough of a threat to deploy a number of assets to the world of Frisal, where a large contingent of dissenters and former citizens of the Alliance are holding up -along with what is suspected to be spies and other mercenaries hired by the First Order’s enemies. While other sectors in the system will be treated with a careful approach by the Order’s best and most discreet, it is here on Frisal where a hammer will fall as an example on how disorder and dissent will be tolerated -with an iron fist.

Objectives:
A: The Steward of the Ren, along with Seiger’s most loyal, have been deployed to the Xiwangmu Temple Complex in order to explore and secure either it or whatever remnants were left in the wake of the Alliance’s departure. Given recent exploits of the temple on Lothal the Ren detachment expects there to be some similarities between the layouts, this information produced after the “interview” with Lothal Temple’s Jedi Archivist at the hand of Kyrel Ren. B: A significant garrison of the Stormtrooper Corps has been dispatched along with diplomatic, spec-ops, and FOSB elements to secure both Xam’Chi City and the military academy at Kuramgi. Their orders are to provide relief to any locals seeking help and to find supporters of First Order intervention in the area. However, it is possible that resistance may use the academy as base of attack to ambush the incoming garrison and delegates. Rules of engagement will be determined by the commanders in the area of operations. Entry on location (X)
C: Time has constricted any attempt at a hearts and minds campaign upon Frisal, and with more elite troops reserved for the main prize at Atrisia, command has approved a full fledged planetary assault on the rebellious, outspoken world. A large expeditionary force composed of auxiliary, mercenary, and wetwork specialists will launch a strike upon all concentrations of rebel forces still in the process of packing former alliance supplies. These will be supported by a fleet who will extend their combat effectiveness with precision strikes and air support. Over Frisal there are a few defensive stations that could be used against the invading force. The Navy has been authorized to utterly obliterate these targets at their discretion.

The scattered smorgasbord of freighters and frigates which now attempted to escape orbit returned to earth. All of them in awe as the First Order fleet dispatched the two largest vessels, Star Defenders. As Carlyle studied the strategic display, he felt a distinct sense of pride. Of accomplishment. Central Command had invested much time into the Atrisian campaign, and while the brass and diplomats would play diplomat, it would be the Navy who now carried the subjugation of it's neighbour. "Grand Admiral, we have managed to stop their escape." Captain Evaline Brosse, the Pellaeon's nominal commanding officer, informed him. "But the stations will continue to hamper reinforcement of our troops."

"Good." Rausgeber replied with a cool smirk pursed upon his digitised lips. "Prepare the Devastator for firing solutions," The Grand Admiral replied, "Target the two most immediate stations. Obliterate them, and move for prime attack position." The Grand Admiral then turned to the rear of the command deck. Attired in the combat uniform denoting them as field officers, ranked from colonel, all the way to marshal, Rausgeber now attended to them. "Gentlemen, prepare your forces for immediate ground assault." The Grand Admiral commanded. "Ensure that any resistance is crushed, and that none escape." the droid commander glowered, before pausing, and offering a salute. "Go forth. Conquer."

The officers saluted, "Hail Sieger!" They bellowed before marching out. Rausgeber turned towards the bridge. He watched now as the destroyers of the Sixth Fleet began to fan out across the void. Frisal would be yet another world to fall. The people would just need to need to be bought to heel.

Atrisia was a world Kyrel couldn't find much information about, He had known very little of it besides being part of the Empire years ago. Atrisia he had heard stories, a group of Sith Lords making a final stand which left a dark side stain in the air. He could feel it, but what had brought him here was the Temple. The Temple was unlike anything he had ever seen. A town built around an alcove, beyond the mountains. Home to the Matukai Monks and townsfolk to which he suspected were Rebels. He had studied the temple schematics closely following the death of the Jedi Archivist that had dared to defy him. His mission was to kill all that was inside, secure the Temple in the name of the Supreme Leader, and the Ren. Take what had all been inside, and most importantly, corrupt it. His main target was the center. The beating heart of the Temple. The Sanctum of the Invisible Empress.

There he had planned to change the nexus entirely, using a strong concentration of the dark side, that would contaminate the Temple forever. Or at least for some time. He had summoned what he could of the Ren along for the journey of course. Displaying the layout of the Temple he spoke. "Not much is known of the Temple, but from the schematics, we were able to recover. The Temple is even a town but is home to possible Rebels, Jedi and most of all Matukai Monks. All of the inhabitants must be eliminated or forced out, every last man, woman, and child there is." He paused for a moment, as if it was for increased dramatic effect, as the Steward scanned there faces, before continuing. "We will secure what we can, take whatever artifacts there maybe. Most of all we will be claiming it in the name of the Supreme Leader. These mountains have a tunnel system straight ahead that will lead us inside. As soon as we are inside I expect no less than action. The slightest hesitation could be fatal, and if they do not kill you pray that I do not."

With that he highlighted every target there was. From the Sessha Shrines, Hall of Serenity to the Hall of the Queen Mother, and the Sanctum of the Invisible Queen. Leading the group straight towards the inside of the mountain. Nothing could prepare them for what they might face. Through the howling freezing winds of the mountains. They would prevail and at all cost take the Temple in the name of the Supreme Leader. Turning on his blade, using the crimson glow as a way to illuminate their surroundings, as they slowly entered through the depths. He continuously watched the schematics for the right path. Knowing that beyond the path would lie both the town and the temple.

A raucous cry filled the Crimson Slaughter with echoes as the voices of her warriors boomed forth. The First Order naval forces had cut their way through the remaining forces as a scythe through chaff. They may have held resentment in their hearts over their larger brother's preferential treatment but most of them knew why they served here in the Auxiliary rather than the Stormtrooper Corps - they were undesirables. Former criminals, disgraced First Order officers, and even aliens served in the bastard sibling of the First Order's military corps. Castiel knew exactly why he was here - it beat being dead. At least that's the way he saw it, the Thralls might have a different opinion.

Cinching down the straps on his own plated armor, he growled as Thralls scurried between the massed ranks of the Auxiliary. Some scrubbing aged carbon from the mottle plates, others strapping soft cases of ammunition to their Auxiliary's belts and harnesses. *The lowest of the low.* thought the Auxiliary Sergeant as a particularly scrawny Thrall brushed past him, bumping into his leg as he passed. He responded with a swift and violent kick aimed at the Thrall's knee.

"Watch where the hell you're going kid." he snarled.​

Following up with a hastily conjured mouthful of saliva, he spit on the ground. *Damn Thralls, getting softer by the day.* Castiel remembered his time as a thrall, before the war - he never recalled being quite as sorry as the current crop. Interrupting his stroll down memory lane, a high pitched whistle filled the corridors and chambers of the Crimson Slaughter. A familiar tone to the Auxiliary. They were to be advancing. It meant another flurry of activity between the standing soldiers as Thralls struggled to prepare in case the need for damage control arose, it meant the final call for ammo supply and weapons draw, it meant... blood was on the horizon.

Aboard the command deck of the Crimson Slaughter, Captain Korvahl issued orders with a violent sneer. He had been undercut once again by First Order command, eager to steal all the glory for themselves. It was no matter, they would continue there assault as ordered - if it was up to him, they'd be the first to hit the ground.

"Advance, I want this ship to be the first on the ground. I'll have your balls if you let that Rausgeber fool's forces beeat us there!"​

Though his anger was sincere, his officers had a hard time from smiling - they too wanted to seek glory, if not for glory's sake, for the freedom it might grant them from the Auxiliary. To serve and be released from service a free citizen, that was always the goal wasn't it? A hard road, but fair.

Hatori ducked and weaved between other thralls and members of the auxiliary, he had a backpack filled with ammunition, a SE-44C blaster pistol, and a large fixed blade knife on his belt, although he wasn't used to all the weight, despite being taller than average he was quite thin, lacking a lot of physical strength, and would fold up after a couple hits owing to his poor nutrition from when he was younger. He ducked under the barrel of an E-web cannon being carried by another ammunition thrall and it's operator and stopped for a moment to reorient himself, seeing the troop ship he was assigned to he started running again.

A couple minutes as the ship was so close he could almost reach out and touch it the teen slammed into an equally tall but far heavier built sergeant, slamming might have been an exaggeration, it was more like a brush, but his boot caught on the sergeant's and Hatori was sent sprawling to the deck, and to add further injury he felt a sharp pain in on of his knees as a durasteel toed boot met it while he was mid fall.

"Sorry sir!" He said as he raised himself up from the deck, a bit of blood dripping from one of his nostrils and fell into the bulky and missized blast vest he wore over he cheep and poorly kept fatigues.

The hangar of the FIV Gorgon was a rush of activity as stormtroopers rushed to their vessels. Within this nexus of chaos as the final preparations for battle came, two figures cut through it all. Sliding his helm unto his head and clicking the straps together, colonel Konstantin Makarev jogged to his transport for the mission, vehicle barge GH-8982. "Keep hauling your sweet little arse!" Makarev snapped back to his subordinate, Lieutenant Vasili Schtoll, who clambered to keep up. "We are going to be at the karkin' front first or there'll be hell to pay!"

"Understood sir." Schtoll panted, cheeks reddened from the 'march' the aide and the colonel had taken. Makarev paid no mind to the man. It was not as if the two were to be leading some form of grand offensive across the ground with the plebians. No, Makarev moved across a catwalk now, to his destination, the hulking body of the barge. The vessel which would carry armoured taskforce Sabre into battle. Makarev made his way through the confines of the craft, as engineers and pilots went about their final preparations, before boarding his own walker, Sabre One.

The officer began pre-deployment checks with his cabin crew, when a chortle caught his surprise. "What's this?" Makarev inquired, curiosity snatched by the sudden, and unanticipated action. The AT-HAT was piloted by two crew, with both drivers looking cautiously at each other, before turning to the colonel. They both knew what he wanted. How he felt. And so, one of them slowly muttered.

"We just got a check in from command, looks like we're gonna have the auxiliary beat us to the surface." The tone was minute. Spoken in nearly a hushed, winced whisper. Ready to reflex and recoil from what came next. It took 0.003 seconds for Colonel Makarev to react.

"MOTHER-!"

Seto despised direct contact, it was all so brutish and filled with too many unknown variables. The shadows, carefully laid out plans and precise misdirection was the tool set Seto had chosen for himself whenever he deployed for any mission. But with a search and clear operation. Seto sighed as he continued to move along with the Ren. His lightsabers hanged from his hips, harmlessly swinging with each step and Seto brought up his gauntlet to mess around with a few more settings on his armor.

Rumors, Seto had heard rumors about Atrisia, and to this once ex-Inquisitor rumors were as valuable as gold. Which was to say absolute Bantha crap, Gold had its uses for electronics and perhaps some credit value but for Seto it was heavy and an unreliable metal alloy for any armor. With an upward movement he stretched his arms as he continued his walk upwards to the Temple, the rest of the Ren were following their Steward Kyrel. The plan he outlined was straightforward enough and only required the absolute best from each brother and sister from the Order. Only. His eyes carefully scanned around the outer wall of the Temple and slowly he took the wonder of it all.

His steps slowed as he measured the buildings they were approaching, a Holy site of no doubt its defenders would sacrifice their lives to protect. At any cost, a common saying among zealots. The thought bitter and distasteful as Seto frowned, the wind howled and for a change Seto appreciated the armor and helmet he wore greatly. Better protection often equated to a much improved life, especially softening the biting cold winds around him. Also, this adorable little droid works miracles. Seto's fingers danced across his left gauntlet, giving his new little droid buddy a few scouting orders as he heard the snap hiss of a lightsaber. Carefully Seto grasped the hilts of his lightsabers, he sensed no imminent danger but slowly the colors of emotions changed. Soon, Seto no doubt will only see red. Red painted across this canvas, and nothing else.

"But why do I have a bad feeling?" Seto muttered to mostly himself. And another bonus for wearing a helmet, easier to hide a sour expression.

Atrisia was a very beautiful planet, some even daring to call it the true jewel of the Core to spite Coruscant. But it had scars, no doubt, from their predecessors that wished to claim the world and its surrounding system for themselves. The Fringe Lords, the Omega Pyre, the Sith, the Alliance; all had contributed to the damage done thus far, and after all these years, here stood the First Order to exemplify it once again. It was most certainly a necessary evil in Cardan's eyes, but one that could've been avoided if the Atrisian government realized sooner that their stalwart Alliance had dissolved and that it was in their best interests to align with the Order for the sake of stability in the region. The Epicanthix exhaled in amusement, even the prospect of such an event seemed like a fairy tale of sorts; he had read the after-action reports numerous times when he served in the One Sith, the Atrisians were nothing if not stubborn, insistent that their great empire was still around to protect them.

The admiral ran a callused hand through his beard, brushing the silky but somewhat rough strands against his skin as he thought about the situation. The invasion was already moving into full swing, the last update he received from his grand admiral's flagship was that he had begun to engage the defence stations in orbit of Frisal. Intel supplied to him by Central Command also stated that a legion of the Auxiliary was being deployed for good measure before the Stormtrooper Corps made landfall. The man had scowled at this news for he held a small disdain for the division, not due to them being aliens like some of his peers but because they were almost always jarheads desperately wishing to prove themselves in the crucible that was a harsh invasion like this.

The bearded man glanced up at the bridge's chronometer, his eyes narrowing as he cross-checked the current time with several variables in his mind. His dreadnought was going revert into realspace underneath one of the stations that were in orbit of Atrisia, cloaked of course, in three...two...one. "Reverting now, Admiral!" A deck officer called from one of the crew pits as if synched with his internal clock, prompting a satisfied grin to appear on his features. The azure tunnel dissipated rapidly, launching the massive vessel into geosynchronous orbit until it came to a hurried stop beneath one of their objectives.

Cardan looked out of the viewport, already adjusted to the fact that the ship's exterior was completely invisible before him as he locked eyes with the station in question. Heavy turbolasers, assault concussion missile launchers, fighter bays, other possible capital-killing weaponry; all of this was the hardware left over by the Galactic Alliance after they grabbed control of the region.

It almost would've been a challenge if he wasn't in command of the second most powerful warship in the sector.

"Analyze and generate targeting algorithms for firing control. I want our gunners to prepare to destroy every weak point we can find on this battlestation, so that we may prepare for future encounters today." Gromm ordered, receiving an acknowledgement from both Praxon and his bridge crew.

Time to get to work.

Kurenai stared up at the blue sky as she sat in her residence garden, though unable to see anything could feel the darkness approaching with steel determination. It was only a matter of time, but she had not expected the First Order to arrive so quickly, their government making a direct line for the core world in wake of the Galactic Alliances fall. If left un opposed said regime would quickly take over the core worlds and establish itself as the main dominate power in the Galaxy, and as the Sith Empire expanded from the other side she would not be surprised if the whole northern end of the galaxy was enveloped in a shroud of darkness.

"Hitomi, gather the others and head for the vault, make sure everything is secure and nailed down, take any valuable with you within reason, though I doubt it you never know when a stray turbo blaster bolt will strike". The servents names Hitomi gave a small bow turning away to carry out the task, "oh, sorry one more thing, get my armor too, I believe I will need it today, and tell my husband to stay put, I do not believe his light side aura will be a good thing in the up interactions", "yes madam, right away". Kurenai watched her move away before looking back to the sky, how long before they make planet fall? would they make plant fall at all? or would Atrisia be subjected to a massive orbital bombardment? Only time would tell, but for a person like herself the concept of time was a feeble thing, before she knew it the First Order will have conquered and then crumble to be replaced with another fanatical regime.


"History repeating itself over and over again... well I best get prepared and give them a warm welcome". Walking back into the mansion she made quick haste towards the master bedroom, opening a side cabnate to reveal a large array of weapons, her light saber, Naginata, Nagamaki, Katana and more. Her hands quickly hover over the small armory, picking up said light saber, combat knife, slug pistol, ammo and their large but still relatively light Nodachi. "Today, your blade may taste blood".

The deck dipped low, the angular hull of the Crimson Slaughter angling violently towards the surface. Castiel's gauntleted fist reached upwards, gripping the combat netting along the interior of the vessel to steady himself. *Looks like Captain Korvahl took the opportunity to 'prove his worth'* thought the Auxiliary Sergeant. With a sigh of resignation Castiel rolled the weight of his equipment across his shoulders till it settled just right. A violent tug on one of the straps saw it seated firmly. It wouldn't be long now and they'd feel the inevitable surge of power behind the engines as they hit atmosphere. Invariably some new Thrall would lose their lunch while another Auxiliary unleashed a flurry of blows, laughing all the while. Brutality was the very nature of the Auxiliary - a hard life for a just reward. Imperial Citizenship and a full pardon for your crimes. Not all were criminals, but that was the exception not the rule.

Like clockwork he felt the gravity of the planet through the hull of the vessel pulling him forward. *This is the big time.* Moments from now they'd be nearing the surface, leveling out before the small drop pods were spat out like seeds meant to take root in the earth.

*Alarm. Alarm. Boarding Sequence Initiated.*​

A roll of Castiel's eyes accompanied his sudden swing to his left, arms powerfully dragging the rest of him behind as he headed towards his designated pod. Whether the First Order simply didn't have enough money to pay for two separate prompts for ground deployment and space boarding, or if it simply wasn't worth it - he supposed the latter. Even their weapons were old hand me downs, many modified or stitched together, some personally purchased even. Castiel wasn't one to complain though, there were more important things to do - like strap in.

With a few quick movements and a fair amount of jostling, the Sergeant was able to secure himself inside the drop pod, eyes scanning the rest of the Auxiliary inside. The crew had been together for a while now. Somebody's number was up, but they wouldn't find out whose until they hit the deck - that's how it worked. *There it is.* thought Castiel as the second alarm sounded. In a few seconds the hatches would seal and they would be catapulted into the air, shot out like a thousand flaming tongues towards the surface. His mind was brought back to the time when he was yet a Thrall, clinging onto the handles, hoping impact wouldn't kill him. He saw a few of them inside his own pod, hoping to earn glory enough to be promoted to a full Auxiliary. He didn't envy them.

Another jolt jarred him from his memory, the face of a Thrall just outside the hatch catching his eye. *Isn't that the mutt who ran into me a minute ago?* Castiel asked silently. The sneer across his features widened, teeth gritting.

"Get over here, you little queen."​

Reaching out, Castiel gripped the nape of the boy's neck, throwing him forcibly into the pod along with the rest, including himself. Not a moment too soon either, for as the boy crumpled into a ball on the floor of the pod, the hatches sealed, a bright red light illuminating the interior of the pod. Less than a second later, they were ejected towards the surface of the planet. *Time to do our work.*

[SIZE=9pt]Misunderstanding was always common. Foolish notions guided by their own narrow view of the galaxy. Many orders had risen and fell. Most had attempted to force their own believes upon another. In recent past the Atrisan Empire was guilty of this. A inquisition to control the Force Using population happened secretly while openly claiming it to be a crime to be Force Sensitive.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=9pt]The assassination of [/SIZE][member="Akio Kasoshi"][SIZE=9pt] was just the being another turning point into grater conflict. His daughter [/SIZE][member="Madeline Kasoshi"][SIZE=9pt] ended the Inquisition and begun to purge all Force Users. This signaled the soon end of the Atrisain Empire. The division weakened the Empire to appoint it soon would not be able to defend itself from a new enemy. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]The Atrisan Empire was overpowered by the might of the One Sith. Soon the One Sith gave governorship of the planet to the Sith Lord named [/SIZE][member="Mythos"][SIZE=9pt]. He twisted the animosity of the Atrisain Civil conflicts. He used generosity to manipulate the hearts of minds of some of the people. It did not end well when his reign ended. In his fit of rage and desperation he blighted part of the land of Atrisa. Then to add more insult upon it he took male warriors confused by his silver tongue to fight wars far from Atrisa.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=9pt]There was a small brief period of peace for Atrisa under the Galactic Alliance rule. They too did not understand the ancient custom of Atrsia just like Akio and Madeline had forgotten. It was never about light or dark in religious believe. It was about the ancestors and nature. It was about respect and honor.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=9pt]The Artisan Lord Garith Darkhold had missed many opportunities. One was in directing Akio to a better path. He was close to this before Akio was murdered. He never got the chance to convince Madeline. Trying to force her hand would have only caused more turmoil.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=9pt]Before he could mount a defense from the One Sith Garith almost fell from assassination himself. His wounds took far too much time to heal to prevent what happened with Mythos. These last past weeks had been the hardest over his vast number of years he had existed. To lose a child was one of the greatest challenges in his life, even more challenging then the near extinction of his people the Kashi.[/SIZE]

Yes even from her The Elder could feel the Nexus. It may not be able to draw from it but it did not mean it was not influencing him.[/SIZE]

It was not sudden nor did it slowly come to fruition. There was a presence was felt through the Living Force that appeared. "No. And they won't when we get to Atrisia either."

Omari had been unsure, but who was he to say anything to the senior agent. He knew more about the technology that the former stormtrooper did. All he did was shoot things, preferably, but sometimes they had doing a little more... Clandestine sort of operations, like when he had been at Vaynai not too long ago.

"Suppose that's good enough for a semi-stealth demolitions Op."

"So this is the planet's Capital?" Omari said, his nose turning as he looked out a viewport before looking back to the brief. They were nearing their destination, and soon they would deploy to the planet below. The stealth was active and initial reports said the Atrisians didn't have anything to detect them. "How close are you getting us - me, to the objective?"

"On top of its structure. You'll have to make the rest of the descent yourself, the zone is too hot otherwise."

"Understood."

From the planning room began the decent to the cargo bay. Weapons were loaded, thruster packs were being attached to the squad, and Omari was ready to deploy. Striking the ramp button, it began its cycle downwards to reveal the open sky.

"Let's go," he said before he leapt out the Stealth Corvette. A black speck from a distance that rapidly drew closer to its target; the roof of the Xiaolang Palace. It housed a planetary shield generator. Even with however many troopers were scattered over the planet seizing key locations, the planetary shield could cut them off entirely, or force them to funnel their troops through an easy to defend gap. It was best to make sure the defenses and weapons were disabled, or at least, as many of them as they could manage.

[SIZE=11pt]Marriskcal found the flow of energy in the command bridge of the FIV Invictus to be interesting in its dichotomy. After experiencing a little of how the various structures within the First Order operated, the youngling could more or less anticipate how the individuals would feel to her senses. And this is where the Navy differed from the ground forces. The calmness the officers exuded as they went about their tasks gave her an insight to Admiral Gromm Cardan’s aptitude for leadership. There was a nervous buzz interspersed amongst the officers, but even then, it has a less worried touch to it than… what was the word for it[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]? Ah yes, anticipation.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Her own presence on the bridge drew a few subtle questioning glances, and she could feel even more tendrils of curiousity curling lazily through the air. But due to the tolerance of their Admiral, no one has seen fit to approach her in person. Marriskcal ignored them, allowing them to draw their own conclusions and instead continued what she had been doing all this while, slowly and surreptitiously drawing closer and closer to the much older gentleman. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]At the pretense of showing interest at the vessel’s journey through hyperspace, she had managed to position herself a short distance away from the Admiral. While the view of the various swirling hues of vivid blues were captivating, it only held her flighty attention for a short duration. No, what has captured the blonde’s unwavering interest was Admiral Gromm Cardan’s facial hair. Marriskcal would never admit it if asked, but she has developed a fascination for it ever since her meeting with the Praetorian Knight. And the salt and pepper contrast only made it all the more mesmerising to the youngling.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Her steel blue eyes followed the movement of his hand as he moved to run it through his beard, narrowing in focus as she tried to imagine how it felt. Would it be like hair[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]?[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] Her gaze shifted, moving from his hand to his thick mane of wavy hair for a second, before she focused back unerringly on the older male’s mien. It looked like it could be a different texture… [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Marriskcal scrunched her nose as she realised she was being a little too obvious in her observation of the other. Coughing lightly when the voice of an officer broke the muted conversations of the bridge, the youngling averted her gaze from the figure of the Admiral and held her breath as the Invictus dropped back to realspace. It was a silly thing to do, but it did help lessen the slight disorientation she felt from the sudden deceleration. Curious about Atrisia, the moved closed to the viewport, her gloved hands touching the glasteel panels as looked at the planet in the distance.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]It was only when the Admiral spoke, his words firm and commanding, did Marriskcal remember that she was not here to play the role of a spectator. Reluctantly, she turned away from the viewports, her hand fastening the top of her pressure suit in preparation for her own set of orders. Her set of armour and her TIE Silencer were already waiting in the hangar. The light aura that suffused her demeanour dissipated as she approached the older male. [/SIZE]

“They seem to be racing for the surface sir.” IN-3 mused in his metallic voice. The droid’s face, a freshly blackened protocol model, would have shown amusement if it could but instead it just expressed pure normality amongst the craziness of the situation. “How odd, I wonder who will win?”
Some of the troopers laughed, others remained silent but Rhun, who was stood closest to the droid approached the viewport that the observation had been made from. One of the Auxiliary ships, a damned knife of a thing had practically turned itself into a missile into the planets orbit, increasing its speed that left a bright blue tear through the darkness of space around it and in contrast? Well the star destroyers were doing what they did best, dispatching waves on landing craft not dissimilar to the one that they were in now.
“Well you can place your bets now gentlemen.” He mused back to another series of chuckles. “I do feel its a little bit unfair though?” He added turning back as he adjusted the wrist unit on his armour.
“How sir?” IN-3 asked from behind, resulting in the Stormtrooper rolling his eyes. “The Auxiliary—“
“Because we are going to get there first.” Rhun interrupted. “Pilot, you hear that. Show those damn boys why they can’t hold a torch to the real men.”
All of the seven stormtroopers raised their arms and took hold of the webbing that was scattered around the landing craft, spare hands moved helmets into place, weapons to holsters and the odd ration bar to mouth.
“Yes sir.”
The shuttle lurched, unfelt by those inside due to the absence of gravity around the craft.

Gravity however did come to meet them. The planet reminding them all with a fierce bump that send the droid and one of the troopers to the floor.
Stupid fool didn’t magnetise his boots.
Rhun was used to these types of entrances, the team around him maybe not so much. Each of them had proven themselves in the legions, but only he had been an Inferno. This was what he lived for, the type of missions that put him right in the thick of it and Frisal, with its uprising and fierce determination to fight back against the order was as thick as it got. He even liked the objectives he had been given by command.

Kill them all.

THE XIAOLANG PALACE

Alarms were sounding from the islands of Xiaolang to the mountains of Quan'Lo and the ruins of Jar'Kai.

The Atrisian teen came down the hall of the royal palace. His bright pink changquan style tunic made his readily distinguishable as the young prince of the Commonwealth. The padawan lightsaber hung from off the belt of zyed fabric, bouncing against this thigh as the teen stumbled through a corridor that was filled with people running every conceivable direction.

Even without a coherent report as to what had happened, the boy was able to understand that the day that they had been preparing for since before the Galactic Alliance's collapse had come.

The First Order had come.

And now the question would have to be answered, would Atrisia submit or assert its sovereign right to determine its own fate?

At least for so long as Shoma remained the regent of the Commonwealth, there would be only one answer to that question. "Pass the word for everyone to proceed to the shelters," the teen barked over the din of Yovshin swordsmen and Royal Corps members moving around in a blur of energy and motion.

After the loss of billions of Atrisian lives as a result of the slug-fest between the One Sith and the Galactic Alliance, Atrisia's reconstruction had included shelters in every metropolitan area.

These people had already survived Force Storms, orbital bombardment, and the worst that the Alliance and the Sith had to offer.

Now they would do it again, and see what the First Order had to offer.

Arriving at the aptly named situation room, the teen was at last able to assess for himself the tactical situation unfolding. A fleet was launching an assault of Frisal. Several of their orbital defense stations were under attack. "Try to get a signal out to our allies," the boy remarked, glancing over to the com-scan officer in the room.

When he had looked back at the status board, the teen said only, "And may the Force be with us."

"For I fear no one else may be."

Location: Command Bridge of the ISD-Setsuna, Space over Atrisia

Objective: Find out what is going on, and assist this "First Order".

Atrisia... her home. It felt like it was only yesterday that she had visited, and had been to Jar'Kai. The day was Empire Day, going there with many cheering crowds and the Planetary Governor, Aleyssa Payne (whom was not a native to Atrisia, but Eriadu, yet a very popular governor at that time) present there. She felt like a war hero down the streets of Jar'Kai when the parade was taking place. All happy, cheering her name, waving her banner, with many allies of the Yamamoto Clan whom previously thought they were long dead, shouting and cheering in her support, with sacred war chants from the old years of the archaic history of the planet. Stormtroopers, officers and pilots, marching down waving at the smiling faces of loyal citizens of the Empire. Truly, Atrisia was a hub of loyalists, and strong supporters of the Emperor's dreams...

After a flashback, Nagisa awoke from herself falling asleep on her desk with flimsiplast piled infront of her. It was strange of the Admiral to even be asleep, considering the fact that she was always at work, and busy constantly with keeping up to date with affairs that higher class officials are meant to do. However, the rest was just well needed. To be transported over 800 years further on into the future was extremely hard to adapt. The sound of a buzzard of her door was heard, and with a press of a button, the door opened, and in came Gaius Pidmut, her Vice Admiral.

"Sir, we have arrived in Atrisia. But I think you might want to take a look at what our reports had indicated near the planet."

Nagisa glanced at Pidmunt and nodded. She went with him towards the bridge to hear reports of frequencies. Apparently, there has been identifications of ships that belong to a "First Order", and so far, identified that the fighters are of Empire-like origin... could this be? But that's impossible. She thought the Empire died over 800 years ago, how can they still be alive and NOT control her home planet? No, she had to get this cleared up.

"Get in immediate communication with this First Order, and start landing on the planet. If your reports are correct, assist any member in taking control of the planet. But, do NOT kill any of the civilians unless deemed necessary. I do not want a genocide of my people to be caused by my hand. Attempt diplomacy if possible should any one of them engages with us."

Junko was looking at the situation as it developed her eyes searching the screens for anything that might be there. She could hear the klaxon's going as they showed the arrival and she was curious about it. There was no army left to resist, the people were divided in what they wanted to do. Some wanted to have the first order step in because the alternative was Mythos who had recently returned bringing an invasion force of his own to battle the first order. A confusing well notion as most of the people.... didn't have the capabilities to fight back. The Navy had been decimated by him and most of its ships were damaged beyond repair, rancor station had been destroyed, the colonies had to be abandoned with the barest hint of defenders. The armies of atrisia were gone providing no opposition and Junko kept her eyes mlooking at the screen.

"That is a lot of soldiers and navy for a planet that has clear no defenders. Mythos force can do little SHoma." She said it while looking at some of the other parts. "We can't fight them, we couldn't win Shoma, we don't have much left over what we have rebuilt but the alternative is mythos a man who have brainwashed, suppressed the thoughts and wills of others." She said it standing near him and this was a situation that had come before the alliance had caused destruction on the planet.... thinking that they would devote themselves to them was questionable, the Atrisian empire under Akio was gone, they had returned to being the commonwealth. Believing they clung to that was foolish since they made an obvious gesture to not.

"We have alternatives to fighting." She gave a small nod. "Signal what men we have to open the doors. Let the First Order in, what we have left are religious leaders, token defense forces that each clan is paying for. Your royal guards and one ship. Mythos brought his army to take the planet but you took the pulse of the senate and clans they want the first order here as opposed to sacrificing more of their people needlessly." She was thinking and looking more at what they had, Mythos well his Banzai a kind of raciest designation had taken millions of soldiers from the navy and army, their men and yovshin's to other planets where he was putting his rule. It had been harsh but they were effectively considered dead and enemies as they seemed to be just mindless servants of him.

Junko thought about it and some other things as the remaining soldiers who acted like police in the few cities. "Stand down, do not resist please we don't have the means to launch such a counter. The civilians and your families would be more important then just another battle that every clan has wished to oppose." She said it while looking at Shoma who was sending out a message but she needed to shrug. If people came she couldn't see it going well. They had been invited to a group bt were further away from the core to be helpful, they worked with the Hapan's and Silver jedi but didn't have enough time to get reinforcements. "Shoma as the heir it is your decision what we do. The Emperor and Empress would support you and your thoughts based on your experience."

She offered a hand while sitting back in a chair. "And I will follow you but we don't have any of the resources to push them back, we have faced this situation before, we have seen what it brings just countless deaths regrdless. Fighting back will just lead to more so I recommend we not go for the death in glory that no one will remember. To quell us, to break us they will destroy and kill this is to be expected even if we offer no resistance. It is the nature of groups like the first order. THey need to justify their own history books narrative but we have lasted as a people for tens of thousands of year, we have survived plagues that went after the galaxy, rifts in space and time, gods battling and being thrown into the gap, the rise and fall of empires and republics across the stars."

He eyes searched him. "THe Invasion by the Fringe who sought to stop Emperor Akio, his sister, Firemane, the One Sith, the Galactic Alliance fighting the sith and tearing up sections of the planet with the force storms. We have endured and we can continue to endure. So please for our people send the message of surrender. You helped cast out the last supporters of Mythos, you didn't hate the Galactic Alliance but they never offered a great deal to help. the Metal Lords and our own people offered aid. We if anything just want to be left to rebuild whatever they feel they need to burn and destroy. Lets not be stubborn and stupid with die hard fanaticism to death and honor to the point we kill our own people for our own pride." SHe bowed her head reaching out with the force and searching as she felt for the likes of [member="Jyoti Nooran"] to say what was happening here but she wanted to hear what Shoma's plan was.

Beneath the red overhead lights, casting their eerie glow over the spotless, shining floors, the facility sat cold and lifeless. The security system, while sophisticated, had been no match for the talents of the Security Bureau. Silently, the small team, including Agent Leah Kaban, one of two recently graduated agents in the 5-man team, slipped inside.

The others in the group consisted of a Special Agent, a contracted scientist, and their leader, a gruff, muscled Supervisory Special Agent by the name of Wither. Each, with the notable exception of the tight-lipped scientist, had received only the briefest of briefings regarding what exactly was the purpose of the raid on the Atrisian compound.

Large vents on the ceiling recycled the air constantly, and kept it at a cool 5° C. The moment Leah crossed the threshold from the mild Atrisian evening into the lab, goose pimples appeared on her skin.

Low and authoritative, the voice of the mission leader, a Station Chief monitoring the operation via an external feed, crackled over their commlink.

“Alright. Masks on. We're not taking any risks here.”

When Hatoi heard it he knew he was karked, the voice of the big sergeant and the feeling of getting grabbed by the neck of his fatigues told him everything he needed to know. He has begged, bartered, and bribed his way into the second wave, and on a proper dropship to boot, but as he kissed deck plates for the second time in a few minutes everything had gone to poodoo. Hatori picked himself up to see the inside of a drop pod, thralls weren't given seating in them, just told to cling to woefully inadequate netting and hope for the best, it scared him, Hatori, up until now had avoided any drops up until now so just like everything else about the Auxiliary he was unprepared for what was to come.

When the pod detached and started falling Hatori nearly puked, he knew what is sergeant was doing, trying to punish him for running into him earlier. He was derterminded to show this ass up, so he gritted his teeth and held on for dear life as the pod impacted with the surface.

The trek had proven to be a robust hike through some of the more beautiful vistas ever to be espied by some of the soldiers who had to ignore the splendor of this land. Laden heavy in full wartime regalia, it wasn’t an uncommon thought to wonder what was the point of conducting such heavily armed recon when nothing was occurring. Indeed, although the troop gasped and awed at the enthralling threes and blend of nature and structure while navigating through some potentially lethal dips, caves, rickety bridges, and stone steps -there appeared to be nobody around. And it wasn’t just that everyone in the outlying structure had packed and left, it felt like this compound long left derelict.

She would have rather been on Almania, surrounded by snow and thick trees under a canopy so thick the dusk never ended. The Major could appreciate some of this natural beauty but something within her morbid soul called to more nostalgic climes of her past, called for home, or place like that could serve as a surrogate.

A rusty door was pushed apart by two stormtroopers and the advance party moved into the lobby. As they navigated past some ruined furniture one of the two heavy doors creaked off their hinges, and were it not for the fast thinking of one of the heavy troopers guarding the rear leaping to hold it up and push it over, then surely it would have crushed the more hapless of the group in the center. Once that commotion was over, a hush fell over the lobby. Awkward cracks in the walls and ceiling allowed light to filter in where such was not the intention. They waited, peering into the emptiness.

::HELLO!:: Yelled one of the troopers.

No response.

“It’s empty.” Mused the Major. Clicking a setting on her glasses, she spoke into her commlink and reported this new development to her staff planetside. They should, if they were not sleeping on their posts, report this information across the battlenet and inform the appropriate commanders so they could react accordingly.
