SHADOW TECH INDUSTRIES​

Ice arrived a few hours before the expo opened up, to set up his both. He quickly went to work setting up the background which advertised his new advancing tech business known as STI, or Shadow Tech Industries. With the back ground up in a few minutes. Then tables and display stands went up, which would show off his many pieces of technology, weaponry, and armor. He was very much looking forward to this show. There always seemed to be a good variety of companies here.

Lots of opportunities, to set up deals, partnerships, all that jazz. With his display pieces now in place, and the doors opening. He waited for any interested parties who might swing on by.

Chaff entered the expo, payed the entry fee, and started walking around. He would no doubt stand out, walking around in full combat armor, but he didn't care, there was no way he was gonna walk around a crowd like this without his gear. His primary goal today was to buy a new pistol, after a sniper had destroyed the last one beyond repair, but he was keeping his eye out for other deals too. He walked around, none of the booths really catching his eye, until he came to the Shadow Tech Industries booth, where he stopped and started examining their stuff.

Ice regarded the man for a moment who showed up to his booth in full body armor. "Smart." He thought to himself, as he too stood in his own armor, minus his helmet. "Good afternoon sir. If you have any questions. Please feel free to ask. And enjoy looking around at what we have." Ice could be counted on to talk for a while about his specialty items. However, he also believed in giving people their space. It always seemed rude to him, when salesmen wanted to get up in your face and start asking a myriad of questions before you have even expressed an interest in anything at all.

So, he'd just wait for now.

Chaff looked up at the guy. Probably in charge of the booth. Had a nice looking set of armor, from what he could tell. Hopefully he'd know what he was talking about.

"Ya, I'm in need of a blaster or slugthrower. Damn sniper blew out the power cell on my last gun. Completely destroyed. Preferably something that's effective against Force users, but I'm not gonna be picky if ya don't got that."

Wirch sat inside his booth with a datapad in his hand. It certainly was not the largest but it had ample room for the blasters stored all around it. He had been hoping this would be a good time to learn more of the galaxy as he waited for any possible customers. He had decided to avoid making his booth overly attractive, preferring to simple fill it with the weapons he was selling. Obviously, Wirch had not been part of the larger galaxy for long and was somewhat oblivious to the idea of using attracting signs and other objects to grab people's attention.

He made sure not to be too much sucked into his reading on galactic history, but it was incredibly interesting and Wirch found it difficult to completely stay focused. Particularly he found the history on the wars between the Jedi and Sith most intriguing. It appeared that no matter how much they fought they would never stop. He placed down the datapad and looked around, hoping that someone would soon find interest in the weapons he sold.

Aeron mulled over those prices in her mind, trying to keep her sabbaac face up. But she was upfront with the question. After all, things were already discounted as it is.

But there was no harm in trying to get an even better deal!

Aeron gave a grin, "That I am." She handed the discblade over. "Zeison Sha craftmanship." she admitted proudly.

"Looking to make another version of it that will be able to use the benefits of cortosis against lightsabers." Hey, if they could hash this out in a series of six or so more posts, that would be a nifty contract for the business

Marek Starchaser was actually running the booth for the first day. He figured it was good for business that way. Bright Star was doing a lot of the catering for the event, blame his connection to the one and only [member="Danger Arceneau"]. The Corellian was dressed in a casual suit with a jacket over it. Looking nice enough, really. Alana and Ryan weren't too far away as he was mingling with people walking past. They had holographic tours of their casinos, a few gaming machines, a full service (free) bar, and well, the best dancers he could find.

There was a selector changing up the music, and making sure everything was appropriate, and a bit of lights. A mini party squeezed into a booth. He'd get out and mingle with the other CEOs shortly, but first, he wanted to make sure people saw Bright Star.

He did hop in his airspeeder and told his chauffeur to the top, when he took the company, after all.

Noire gave a small smile and then another nod. "of course." she began, leading him towards a holotable that gave more information on the various fuels they mined, produced, and manufactured.

"Are you looking for anything in particular in regards to Tibanna? We have regular Tibanna, spun Tibanna.. and then TibannaX for stealth spacecraft available."

Here it was again, the SSB Expo. Mertaal couldn't help herself, a slight corner perking upward at her mouth, although thankfully hidden away under the shadow of her wide brim hat.

Exploration and a pocket full of credit chips gave the Bounty Hunter the luxury to once again, make the most of the Helm's armory. It wasn't before long that she stood in front of the modest Durasteel Trading Booth.

A curt nod of greeting was sent towards the attendant, and she went browsing over their goods.

Finally, she motioned towards the pistol. "What can you tell me about that one?" she asked.

Ice smiled at the mans request. "Well, if you are enlisted in the Shadow Empire's army, I have a rather special rifle I could offer you. If not, I do have a nice pistol that could be what you are looking for. Both pieces are new designs straight out of our labs and manufacturing centers. Both are going to be something, almost nobody in the galaxy has. And both will be most effective against force users, I assure you! Which would fit your scenario more appropriately? I'll go into more detail on whichever you choose." Ice asked with a confident smile, knowing full well, he could offer the man a deadly weapon effective against just about any type of soldier, merc, or forcie.

Wirch quickly picked himself up, politeness required he rise to speak to one who was standing. "It is named the Relovian Pistol, after the planet it was constructed on. Its shots are much more powerful than conventional weaponry, however it needs to be reloaded every time you fire.You can use it to fire either lasers or bullets, depending on the situation and your preferences. The range of the bullet is about 50 meters at best and the laser can pull off a 100 meter range, again at best. The bullet firing capability can be used in situations where electrical equipment cannot, giving it an edge after an EMP or in environments where a blaster won't be effective."

He paused for a moment, he wasn't sure if he had spoken too quickly. He took a deep breath and asked, "Is there anything else you would like to know about this weapon?"

The big banner hung above his small booth as he sat reading. He did his level best to avoid looking at [member="Danger Arceneau"] still worried she had found him out. His list of teams had grown slightly beyond his company holonet site list and the Abregado-rae or something Iron Knights and the Seabees had signed on as well as the MandalMotors Strills. He would have to get someone to update his holosite while he was here.

"I don't remember lovin you." He half sung half mumbled as he typed out yet another letter to his secret crush.

Chaff shook his head. "Well, I ain't an Imp, and I ain't in their army. No interest in being tied down to one employer or having to call someone 'Sir'. So show me the pistol."

Edric sat beside the sales desk with his feet up as he watched the young curvy woman introduce everyone and begin the expo. It was a favor for an old friend and his first time off Mandalore in 40 years. His old eyes looked on as people passed by and he thought how much things had changed in the galaxy but that was another story.

Noah looked over the holotable he was shown and looked at the multiple types of Tibanna. "I'm not very up to date on the multiple types of Tibanna, the education I have on it doesn't really extend beyond a high school chemistry class. Really the type I'm looking is the best for use in blasters."

Ice chuckled in understanding. "Well I think you will find us a bit different that the Imperial Remnant. However, I still fully understand your reasoning. Let me show you that pistol." With that, he reached under the table to unlock one of the safes he had there. After withdrawing the piece he had in mind, he locked the safe, and pulled the pistol up for him to see. "Here you are. We call this, the Shadow Sniper Mini. Or SSM for short."

Ice gingerly handed over the pistol for the prospective client to hold and get a feel for. "This piece here, in normal mode, has an effective range of 250 meters. And has an ammo capacity of 250 shots. However, when you put it into "Sniper Mode", the range doubles to 500 meters. But to achieve this range, it uses five times the power. So the ammo capacity drops to 50 shots. Still an impressive capacity for a single clip. The bolt is also a particle beam instead of a standard blaster bolt."

"So instead of just having the normal damage you might see with a blaster, you get that, plus secondary explosive damage when the bolt strikes its target." He smiled and paused for a bit to let that information sink in as well as give him a chance to look it over.

After a few seconds he continued. "But here is the part I believe you will find most intriguing. The standard problem with blasters and particle beam weapons against force users, is their ability to see the shot coming and effectively deflect shots. In some cases, I have heard they can even redirect the bolt back at the shooter. The particle beam solves the problem with redirection. BUT! We managed to also create a particle beam that is now invisible!"

"Essentially this weapon has the huge knock down power of a particle beam weapon, while also possessing the slugthrowers advantage of having an unseen round! We believe this to be the very best choice for just about any scenario, where the goal is to kill your opponent. We are in the middle of developing a pistol for non lethal situations. But again, for everything where you don't care if the target lives or dies, this is your ideal weapon in our opinion."

He finished his little demo with the pistol, and waited to see if he had any questions.

Chaff grinned behind his helmet as he looked at the gun, liking everything he was seeing and hearing.

"Where have you been my whole life? If I wasn't looking right at the thing, I'd accuse you of trying to scam me. How much?"
