School's Out For Jungle (The Troublesomes)

Aboard the Star Hunter
In Transit to Dxun

It was so much simpler on her datapad than with her friends all flopped around the antechamber to the Star Hunter’s Meditation Room.

Go to Dxun, a… a training run. No. Not training run. These were not babies toddling in durasteel! Each one of Adara’s Troublesome friends were post-verd’goten Mandalorians, with their own skills and adulty…. adultness.

Grown-uppedness.

Not a bunch of kids. Why, most of them were 13 to 16! Ancient! Clearly a… a mission to traipse onto Dxun looking for Mandalorian leftovers and the residue Adara figured she could feel from such wondrous places as the Tomb of Freedon Nass or his second Sithly mooktenant would… it would…

Who was Adara trying to fool? Even the sheer idea of entering ‘other space’ was so thrilling all the girl really wanted to do was run around in circles and say she’d done it.

Touched foreign soil.

Something she’d never, ever, ever, ever done. Mother didn’t allow her little Dark Princess to leave escorted, pre-approved and defensible locations. So, when Stabitha groaned and rolled her eyes and threw a knife at a holo-map, and when the hilt of the knife appeared to wobble around Onderon, Adara cut the difference.

“Yes! Yes, so we’re…” Why was leading a Parliamentary meeting on Vena easier to do than talking to her friends? Adara balled her fist and stamped her foot, more to settle herself that yes, this was by and again, the best idea yet.

“We’re landing on Dxun within the hour. And we’ll find things. Salvage things, and there are dangerous predators, and a tomb I want to check out, since maybe there’s a bit of something still there. We can do this. We can… go out… on our own and… mission.”

Yes. That was the ticket! Adara nodded, her black and red eyes slightly wide as for once in her life, she tried to do something fun with friends her age. Amma Dib, Rhae-Rhae's twin sister rolled her eyes in the most unconvinced way Adara thought possible.

"Aaawesome. Way to flub the speech-making, Dar'ika." Amma flopped one leg over the back of her chair, tossing a painted rock up in the air and forcing it to dance via telekinesis. "We're all gonna die."

Sitting a bit more in the back with his legs propped up on table, Taru listened to Adara as she tried to explain what they were going to do, and for some reason she seemed quite nervous to him, constantly fumbling over what to say next, and especially how she had ended with the statement that "they would all die".

Pretending to not have heard what she had ended with, Taru decided to have his voice be heard by the others instead of the normally stoic yet quiet image that he would usually portray.

While bringing his Ash'amur up and atop his lap, he said: "Ka va olya era bat a kilir. Katagine. Narir va tgia meg mhi cavu'a at gara sol'yc bal vaii ibac olyay? Bal malyasa'yr mhi cavu'a e ashi cayatitr? (So we are going on a mission. Sweet. Do we know what we want to do first and where that is? And will we need any other weapons?)" He still kept his own unspoken rule about allowing himself to only speak Mando'a, but to still understand how to speak, read, and write in Basic. Now letting the others speak their thoughts and only then fighting for what he believed to be the most fun—predators and the tomb.

Achani sat somewhat away from the rest of the kids. Well, teens? Young adults? Whatever they were technically called nowadays. It was weird to be in the room - a lot of them she didn't really know. Most of that was her own fault, though. It took years before she was able to even have a legit, civil conversation with Adara.

And she was glad that she was repairing the relationships that she had previously sought to destroy, but... It was still there. Her mother was no longer with them. But, she had a plan. And part of that plan was to come with them to Dxun, a nasty planet with... Nasty things or whatever. Her hand instinctively touched the blaster that was safely placed on her hip.

Achani really wanted to scout out the ruins, maybe find something expensive and valuable in the ruins. She could stash it in her preparation chest back on the little freighter she had acquired during her random expeditions.

Achani crossed her legs and her arms, a small smile on her lips as she listened to Adara stumble in her speech. She could do all sorts of political things, so Achani couldn't help but wonder why she was nervous. Achani's hair was bundled in a messy bun, with black somewhat tight jeans, and purple shirt, and a black, leather jacket.

"We'll rock it, don't worry," she said with a smile.

Rhaegar Dib II

Heir of the Dragons
He, too, was sitting a distance away. A brown jumpsuit clung to his legs with the arms tied around his waist. A black tank top stretched across his widening shoulders and chest. He sat on the floor with his back against the bulkhead, his legs drawn up and his elbows extending his arms over his knees. Slowly he clenched one fist and watched the dragon bracelet flow into a dagger, then another flex returned the blade to its original preset shape. On the inside of his right forearm the Sith rune was raised on puckered flesh. The lasting gift from ba'vodu Muad that buir didn't know about. He had also tried to keep it secret from Amma who was always trying to tell him when something was a stupid idea.

“Why do you always have to ruin my fun Am’ika?” He had asked his twin vod that so many times over the years that it had been stripped down to just an accusatory glance that was needed instead of the words. Adara and Amma sat near one another, yeah be up the shebs of whomever you think is in charge sis, while Adara talked about something. He honestly wasn't listening. Amma did make a wisecrack, yeah you getaway with being a smart aleck, while several other young adults hung out nearby.

Looking down beside him he picked up the sheathed beskad and lightly gripped the hilt. Slipping the blade free of the scabbard a bare inch he smiled for a moment cherishing the gift before ramming the blade home and leaning back with a sigh. Then his hormones kicked in as he saw the ladies again and grinned widely. This was going to be fun.

Noah sighed and cracked his neck as he sat in the troop bay of the refurbished Nu-class Attack Shuttle he had purchased for a pretty credit recently. While it wasn't the most modern of craft he didn't mind, anything vintage was considered good enough in Noah's book. He had converted what was once the troop bay into a makeshift sleeping quarters/armory by removing the seats inside and setting up a cot in one corner, a small workbench in the other and putting racks for his weapons on the bulkheads.

Sitting on the cot he was looking down at a datapad, watching the small blip on the screen with extreme focus. The blip was connected to a tracking device that Noah had planted on the ship of his niece/step daughter, Adara Raxis. Noah had discovered that she had planned a trip to..well somewhere, figuring out where was kind of the point of the tracking device. As he looked at the tracking device he began to formulate trajectories they could be using and going on and he came up with one idea. "Dxun. Of course she'd choose Dxun." Sighing he made his way to the cockpit and set a course for Dxun.

Fred was probably more nervous about this then anyone else, and Amma didn't help things. Yeah, he wanted to go and help [member="Adara Raxis"] , but he really didn't want to get caught. And it wasn't for what the Jedi would do. For all he knew they wouldn't care. It was more the fact that some of his clan lived in SJO space, so if they found him snooping around.... Mig seemed chill, but mess with his aliit and he could be scary. With that on his mind, Fred sat there, checking his weapon, then looking at [member="Rhaegar Dib II"] , shaking his head. He didn't need the Force to notice what what on his mind.

"Rhaegar, this is may be fun, but this could go wrong, and I for one don't want to lose another limb." He lifted his arm as a reminder. Sighing a little. "I'm just glad Stabby didn't hit a Sith world, cause I ain't going near them with a super star destroyer." He then looked over to Adara, chuckling a little.

"And don't worry about speeches. Better than I could do." He looked around, quickly testing his weapon. It was blade heavy, but it was what he knew to fight with. He then looked up, wonder if the ship's A.I. could hear him. "What you think, Hunter?"

[member="Noah Corek"] [member="Achani Raxis"] [member="Taru Cadera"]

Tabitha leaned against a wall near [member="Adara Raxis"], chewing some gum she planned to stick to the first Jedi building she saw, and flipping her favorite knife. She adored Adara, truly, but the girl needed some non-parent-approved galaxy exposure! Tilting her head at Amma's pessimistic reply, Tabitha flipped her knife just a bit higher than she was already, before turning her gaze to [member="Taru Cadera"]. She knew speaking Mando'a was in the Resol'nare, but this kid took it to a whole other level.

"I'm, personally, going to vandalize the first Jedi building we find, if they've thrown any up. Probably stick some gum into their doors, carve some Sith symbols into their walls, and maybe get some supplies for the long trek home. Hey 'dara, what're some good Sith symbols to taunt the Jedi with?"

Tabitha gave Adara the most cheeky grin she could pull off with a wad of gum in between her teeth, before hearing [member="Fred Gred"] respond to [member="Rhaegar Dib II"] and turning to look at the two. She rolled her eyes, continuing to do her little knife trick, and sighed.

"Oh Freddy Fred Fred, like I would ever intentionally aim for a Sith world when we don't even have a fleet to our name. Oooooh that's what we need! The Troublesome Fleet!" Tabitha laughed slightly at her own suggestion, before tossing another stick of gum in her mouth.

[member="Achani Raxis"] [member="Noah Corek"]

Tuuli lounged beside Adara calmly a confident grin on his lips as he listened watching the others before he heard Fred ask the ships A.I. what it thought he turned his head upward slightly in a sigh as a holographic ball took center of the table up and started to speak in a bored tone. "Well its certainly better than some of the speeches the Jedi have given. Sith aren't to bad with speeches but Adara's was acceptable for a first attempt." Tuuli snorted lightly before he stood up to draw everyone's attention to him as he moved forward pressing a series of buttons to replace Hunter's AI orb with a lay out of their target area on Dxun. "Alright people focus up. We will split into three groups here as some of us may not be suitable for venturing into the depths of a Sith Temple." Tuuli glanced pointedly at both Fred and Rhaegar junior as he called him. "THose going into the temple will be Adara and myself. Fred why don't you, Junior, and Taru go check on an old Mando base nearby see if there are any caches left. Tabitha and Achani why don't you two see if you can scrounge up any data that could be useful and deface any Jedi camps you find. Don't go farther than 5 KM out from the temple though." Tuuli pressed another few buttons bringing up info of ship based units tapping the table thoughtfully. "Both the last two groups will take half of a Red Fang unit each just to be safe and as to the fleet I am working on it you would be surprised how many people are on edge with piracy after my father's escapades." Tuuli returned to his seat calmly portraying the what he hoped was aspect of calm and collected he was the Pirate Prince after all.

Adara gasped out a sigh as [member="Tuuli Miles"] took over. He always did have the best way of being the right sort of communicative. Black and red eyes glanced bashfully at him, Adara’s lips struggling not to turn up in the most girlish grin.

After all, they were on Tuuli’s ship.

“Oh, a fleet! I could ask Papa for more ships. House Fitz Kierke has a small navy, most of it is surrounding Vena and Panatha. Or we could thieve them!” Adara bobbed on the balls of her feet, clutching her hands together in front of her.

“As Tuuli says. Raid what we can, make some mischief. Always carry more weapons than you think you'd need.” Not even [member="Achani Raxis"] could get her down, now! Not even… Amma Dib, whose brother [member="Rhaegar Dib II"] was cutting quite the fetching sort of figure off to the side around [member="Fred Gred"] and [member="Taru Cadera"].

“Well if you did die, Amma, I could bring you back. Would only take a minute and a couple of useless souls to kill in your place.” Giving a timid shrug, Adara pursed her lips. “Death is only an inconvenience.”
Brothers, why was it always the way that Amma's twin brother had to have so much fun to spoil? How was Amma supposed to be the maladjusted ever-level teen witch if her brother was making her smile all the time?

“‘Cause your fun usually involves us getting pity-hugged by Buir once we’re done and I want to be successful for once.” Amma grimaced, before winking at Fred. ”Pffft. Just regrow it. Only takes a hellish amount of pain and like, three weeks on Dathomir. I can regrow a finger now in like, two days.”

“Right… ooo! I know tons of Sith runes!” Adara hopped up, hair bouncing around her in soft curls as [member="Tabitha Solus"] asked for symbols. Inhaling deeply, Adara spoke in a language so guttural and horrific it tainted the very fabric of the room, darkening lights down to red flickers. Her feet floated above the ground, as strips tore around her, symbols and infernal yips like jackals pouring from the fissures in reality. Her fingers shifted in the air, taming the symbols and runes, which flung over to Tabitha and stuck to her palm like glue.

“Use those. Any Jedi worth their salt will hate those ones.” Adara nodded sagely, the room turning back to rights. “And if anybody needs backup, the Red Fangs can be supplemented with the Militibus ex Infernis. And then, we can meet up in the middle and go from there. Maybe for hot cocoa!”

Hunter chimed, the proximity warning to their targets approaching.

“Eeee! Let’s go cause trouble!” Adara bounced up and down again, “We’re causing trouble! Without adult supervision! Eeee we’re such rebels!”

“…. Did Adara say she can raise the dead?” Amma blinked, leaning over to whisper in Fred’s ear. “Did… did anyone else hear that?”

Amma cleared her throat and sucked on her top lip. “… Anyone… anyone hear the… ooooookay then.”

[member="Noah Corek"]

"Hunter, we need to work on your... complimenting." Fred tapped the floor before a IA-9, a V-2 mircromech he called Eya, rolled around, whistling something before [member="Tabitha Solus"] spoke. Fred didn't seem to pay attention to what the droid said, something about this idea being a bad one. Instead he looked at Tabitha, nodding a bit. "First, I feel like you would. Second, that'd be great. Just... how would we support a fleet?" He then heard Amma, shaking his head. "Do I look like I'm part Trandoshian.... Wait.... You said Dathomir. Uh.... I'm good with the mechanical arm. I can modify it too."

He then heard [member="Tuuli Miles"] , listening carefully. At least until he noticed the glance the fellow teen gave him and [member="Rhaegar Dib II"] . Fred glared back, looking annoyed. "Are you saying I'm not fit to go into a Sith Temple?" Eya then whistled. "I know you think this is a bad idea, but you aren't stopping it." She whirled before grumbling a little. Fred then heard Tuuli mention that he wanted him, Rhar, and [member="Taru Cadera"] to check an old Mando base, he smiled, getting excited. "Forget what I said. I'll take old base over old temple any day of the week."

The Gred quickly checked his weapon before Amma asked if [member="Adara Raxis"] said she could raise the dead. Fred looked a bit shocked, thinking back at what she said. "I... I think she did." Eya then trilled in agreement, looking back at Adara.

[member="Noah Corek"]

Oh her mother would noooooot be happy

Was brigh worried? A little but at the same time finally getting away from the planet and finally hanging out with her friends was a great relief. Setting next to adara holding one of her mothers rifles she borrowed, she listened to everyone speak around her as she chuckled and then glanced to adara as she did her Sith magic making her shiver a bit

Her friend used a lot of dark side stuff, but she didnt care at all she had been practically raised with the girl, two were like sisters in a sense. Humming she spoke

I think I'll go with adara to these ruins, momma always said its good to learn so...I'll be learning hahaha

Taru wasn't used to taking orders from his friends, especially those who he viewed as equals. He would take orders if he knew Tuuli better, but the Pirate Prince, as his title went, was currently in charge. So Taru complied. And yet still, he shot a look towards Tuuli, to check to see if there was a smirk or snobbishness visible.

Nodding in his acceptance, he beckoned towards Fred and Rhaegar in an effort to get them to come to him near the back.

"Alright. Fred, Rhaegar, lets talk tactics. Oh and HUNTER, could you bring up all known and accessible blueprints, history, and the surrounding area of the base?" He stated calmly but his eyes betrayed his excitement as the pupils dilated slightly and glinted. Looking at both Fred and Rhaegar in the eyes.

HUNTER took too long, with Taru pinpointing this slowing down as having occured because Adara was... floating and sucking in light. Great...

As that whole spectacle finished, Taru rolled his eyes and asked if the others had any weapons or were in need of a tune-up/more ammo.

Achani's fingers tapped the top of her blaster as her eyes watched the group of teens. Hopefully, this would be smooth and easy. She perked a brow to [member="Fred Gred"]. The kid had been nervous from the get go, and despite his attempts, it was pretty easy to at least get the feeling that he was, indeed, nervous.

"Losing another one will make you look cooler," she said with a playful wink at Fred.

Achani gave a nod towards [member="Tabitha Solus"], since apparently [member="Tuuli Miles"] was some big boss and handed out the assignments. She was a bit surprised that [member="Adara Raxis"] let him take some of her shine like that. But, it was what it was. Defacing Jedi camps didn't really bother her, although she did prefer Sith ones. Or actually going into the tomb with Adara...

Her brow perked, immensely, at Adara's words. Bring the back dead? It would only take a couple of useless souls? Her eyes tore into Adara's, whether she looked at her or not. Did she really say that? She could bring back the dead?

Achani stood up to examine the items that the AI began to show. "All set on my side," she commented after a few moments.

“I think that's a great idea Pirate Princess Tuulip.”

His lips stretched over white teeth in a flashing, snarky grin at being commanded around by a little snot nosed douche who was supposed to be just one of them, an equal, a friend. But what did he expect coming from a boy so pretty he could easily pass for a lady at court. Frilly dress and all. Rhae chuckled to make sure his opinion truly got across before heading over to where Freddie was gathering with Taru near the back.

Even as he leaned against the bulkhead to listen to the Dathomiri, his eyes caught the levitation act and words from Adara about resurrection even as both Amma and Freddie conferred about the interesting and potentially dangerous ability Manda'lor the Infernal’s daughter possessed. Of course dangerous was a synonym with fun. His eyes flickered over Brigh and Achani before focusing on his group.

“Nope. I'm good with weapons. But I'm definitely looking forward to what we might find down there. First mandos to return in how long? Let people see we are not little kids anymore right, see us for true vode and not adiik.”

Tabitha gave Tuuli Miles Tuuli Miles an unamused stare as he gave orders left and right. Who died and made him king? And then he had the bright idea to tell her to do the thing she was gonna do anyway?

Ugh. Boys.

Now, when Adara Raxis Adara Raxis started doing her baby Sith thing? Tabitha grinned wickedly and watched as the runes floated over to slap themselves onto her hand. She was gonna make SO MANY Jetii mad., and by the Manda Tabitha was going to enjoy it! Perhaps she could find a lightsaber that got "misplaced" and give it to little Lailya? Tabitha paused her knife flipping to think on if Azure's daughter ever did get the lightsaber she was promised by a Mortui, before tossing another stick of gum in her mouth to chew on as Fred Gred Fred Gred , Rhaegar Dib II Rhaegar Dib II , and Taru Cadera Taru Cadera talked battle plans.

"So, 'sthani, wha' ya gonna go for firsth?" Tabitha turned her head to Achani Raxis as she began her knife trick again. Best the two chaos bringers figure out a game plan for wreaking havoc on the Jetii, right? Chaos without a plan gets people caught, and Mama didn't raise no... un... stealthy...

Wait. Where was she going with that train of thought?

“Then it’s all wonderfully decided!” She smirked at Stabby, her mouth so full of gum. Maybe Adara ought to ask for a piece… no. No she couldn’t! Ladies didn’t chew gum. Whatever would her Handmaiden say?

“Oh heavens, you… you… boys!” Adara clenched her timid fists as she watched the bantering between RhaeRhae, Fred and Tuuli. Taking Tuuli’s hand, Adara looked into his eyes with a small smile. “Isn’t it.. we have friends. Good ones. Ones for causing the best sort of trouble.”

Nerves got the best of one, in such situations, didn’t they? Adara took a deep breath and walked to the door. Yes, she was going out exploring with her friends! Friends her parents didn’t vet or even really know about. This whole… running away thing… well!

It would turn out perfectly alright in the end!

“Right! Yes, let’s everyone!” With that, Adara marched out to the shuttle down to the surface of Dxun. A bit cramped with the Cragamaloid and Anubian bodyguards (which simply had to come, my goodness, nobody could possibly get hurt today!), Adara took her first step out into the forest moon and let out that deeply held breath she’d been holding.

“Everyone, meet back here in an hour? An… bit of time? We have commlinks and keep in communication and… right! Have fun!” Adara started tromping through the undergrowth toward the tomb location flickering on her data-holo. “Gosh… do people say that on missions? Have fun? But this is fun, after all… my goodness how did mother do it? Although it is pretty exciting isn’t it, Brigh? Tuuli? We ran away.”

"We did! We did it! I'm being.... rebellious at last!" Adara’s bit of nerves faded to the exalted joy of being a teenaged girl on her own! Running away was the best thing ever! Especially with her friends and boyfriend around!

“Eeeee I can’t wait to see what’s there! Even if it’s nothing!” Hopping on her tip toes for a moment, the 6’1” Epicanthix teen tried to peek over the bush line, then trotted off toward the tombs.

Aaran sat there, squatting in the grass as he stared at the stumpy creature standing a small distance away from him. One of the Cannok's eye st.alks was tracking him carefully. The other staring intently at the dried meat in the Padawan's hand.

"Meat good." The Padawan said, speaking slowly to the dim-witted creature. Both eyes blinking one after the other as he spoke. "Power lines. Bad." He said, waving the meat in front of the creature once. Extending his mind and doing his best to influence the creature's thought process.

It really needed to stop nibbling on the power lines. The backup generators were working. But so long as the Cannok's single minded determination to eat absolutely anything it saw remained. This would continue happening. And its not like Aaran was going to kill the poor creature. It was only following its' instincts. Harming it for such a thing would be pointlessly cruel. So instead, some corrective behaviour was needed. Mostly involving some subtle mind tricks and offerings of food.

So far they appeared to be working. With the Cannok greedily gulping down the meat thrown from the Padawan's hand. Letting out a slow grumble. And through the empathetic link. Aaran could feel that his lesson got through. Meat was certainly preferable to dangerous power lines. With one final grunt, the Cannok began to waddle away on its' stumpy legs. Leaving the Padawan to brush off his hands and start to work on the repairs to the nearby sensor array.

It simply would not do if the sensor array around some of the old Sith temples ever went down. There was knowledge deep in those tombs. Dangerous knowledge that could do great harm in the wrong hands.

James Cerensp's 2000 Star Commuter Shuttle jumped out of hyperspace over Ondoron and quickly made it's way towards Dxun. After Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae and her Lervon friend attempted to capture one of the DIB's key allies a man by the name of Doctor Jakob Bensen , James Cerensp decided to ensure both would pay the price for doing so as their attempt to capture Dr.Bensen was not the first attempt. While Natian Sanorge assembled a group of Mercenaries and voulenteers to attack the Lervon's home planet , James was tasked in kidnapping the daughter of Stardust Solus Skirae and to use her as bait to trap her at the Inquisitourus Sanitarium and imprison her there.

James Cerensp's agents had recently tracked Stardust's daughter to the jungle moon of Dxun within Silver Jedi Space and given that the mission was supposed to be secretive James Cerensp headed there with a task force of 120 Men and 5 Star 2000 Commuter Shuttles. James would ensure that Stardust would pay for her intrusion and dealt with quickly as she along a man named Jerec Asyr Jerec Asyr would serve as examples and show many that the DIB was a dangerous force.

As his 5 shuttles jumped out of hyperspace James had the shuttles land near the area in which Adara Raxis had landed her vessel. As James Men disembarked James ordered 5 scouts to scout the area and locate Bright Solus Skirae and ensure that all opposition to them would be swiftly crushed.

Seeing her friend getting excited over all this made her smile. I'm fact it made her smile as well! She followed the young girl closely towards the tombs, looking at the aged structure as she awed at the designs of the Sith temples and looked about spotting someone she grabbed her friends shoulder gently and pointed

jetii, must be guarding the tombs entrance....

This could prove to be a challenge, however brigh was to not get in trouble with jedi...but if she couldnt avoid it...well she could take a tongue lashing from her mother. At the same time she had a bad feeling and it wasnt from the temple

Tuuli chuckled to himself as he walks alongside Adara watching her bounce around excitedly the young human appearing teen standing at almost the same height as his Epicanthix girlfriend. He tapped her back gently and gestures forward. "Steady as you go there Dara. We are just getting started on this adventure and we don't know if the SJO has anyone on planet. Best to move carefully and prepare for anything." He smiled at her gently as he walked alongside her a simple pair of trousers with a black tunic on. A member of Clan Akaata sat on the bridge manning the ships Command and Control center when suddenly a series of five blips showed up approaching the planet and the ships landing spot at high speed. Seeing this as unusual the clan member first sent the warning to the unit of Red Fang that would remain with the ship to serve as security warning them that they may want to gear up faster as company was in bound. After that the Fighter Control officer dispatched a series of fighters which were made up of Devastator-MK 2's to intercept and attempt to wave off the approaching shuttles. If that failed the boarding ramp would than lower and the 250 Cragmaloids that made up the Red Fang would slowly start to stomp their way down the ramp weapons held ready as they prepared to greet any guests they may have.
