- Force User Combat: Thanks to its Phrik secondary plating and number of defensive and offensive electric enhancements, the SC-2c Duelist is the go-to for directly engaging Force Users. Most Force Users with lightsabers will find their attacks stopped thanks to this plating. The SC-2cs Electric Shock Lacing and Shock Glove, combined with the agility granted by the Jump Servos and Flexible Underlay, allows the wearer to subsequently induce crippling electric attacks on Force Users in close proximity before striking with their primary weapons. The addition of the Electrified Grappling Hook adds a beneficial range to this form of combat. The electric grids of the armor also enable a near-constant defense against similar attacks, including that of Force Lightning due to the ability's physically electric nature.
- Damage Vulnerabilities: Creating the SC-2c Duelist to be a suit meant for dueling Force Users left it wanting in the kinetic, EMP/ION, and Sonic department. The wearers of the SC-2c Duelist find that such attacks (explosions, slugthrowers, vibro-weapons) are capable of damaging the light yet brittle metal that is Phrik. While it does not have a major vulnerability to the damage type, the Duelist also lacks any major defensive against EMP/ION damage, meaning that the computer systems of the Duelist are at great risk of being shut down. Additionally, Sonic damage little issue penetrating the armor's defenses and damaging the wearers' equilibrium, which a Force User can utilize to great effect in a duel.
With the creation of the Shades of Stygan during the onset of the Warlords of the Sith's crusade upon Malachor V, Kascalion required an initial armor set for these elite warriors that could serve them dutifully until later models could be created - of which three more have been. Utilizing a basic, rushed construction out of duraplast and durasteel layered over a leather underarmor and a mesh underlay, the Devil found that the Darkclad was much too simplistic for the elite soldiers under his command.
Thus came the second addition to the SC-2 series. Befitting those with a knack for the art of dueling Force Users, the SC-2c is the perfect go-to as it offers enhancements to their already present abilities in close-quarters combat. Wearers of the armor set found their skills in killing trained Force Users to have increased within the first months of donning the garb, something its creator found quite pleasing to hear.
Similar to the others of its kind, the SC-2c Duelist's aesthetics are strange and perhaps worrying to a first-time viewer. It does not follow many modern forms of style and appears to be much more sadistic and savage than the wearers themselves, although its functionality is on-par with armor classes of comparable purpose.
