Sanity Seems Counter-Productive

Helios studied at [member="Kalyn Tyree"] for a good hard second. Before he leaned in and kissed her cheek. In a shy yet daring manner catching the corner of her mouth with his kiss. Mostly to respond with equal graditution for what she had done for him. Partially to offer Kalyn something to think about. "I would love to help you understand me fully... Someday." He spoke in a manner that was unquestionably a promise to her. Helios then turned his attention to the captive. Who was staring at the two of them with a look that both seemed to relay agitation and disgust. "Wipe off that look. The only thing keeping me from stuffing your arm up your arse, and your leg down your throat is this woman sitting here beside me. So when she goes to interrogate you. You best respond with the out most respect!" Helios growled to the man. Before he looked to Kalyn again and smiled shyly. "I'll be in the kitchen... Lighting the dishes on fire... For sanitary purposes." Helios decided as he gathered the dishes. Translation... If I dont burn something, you may not have anyone left to interrogate.

Helios wondered to the kitchen. Where he looked to the dishes. "Terribly sorry about this little fellars. Though you need cleaning! I promise not to hurt you too badly." He cooed to them. Before he placed out a palm and sent a gentle stream of fire rolling over the dishes. As he laughed a little and smiled brightly. Like a kid who just found a toy they loved using. Helios chuckled at that thought. As he released the stream of fire. Then soon after picked up the still warm dishes. As he proceeded to wash them with water and remove the burn marks. From there placing them away.

After awhile Helios returned to check how Kalyn's interrogation was proceeding. As he took a seat on the couch and quietly watched her. Deciding to see if he could learn a little more, how the gentler approach to getting information looked like.

Kalyn noticed he caught the corner or her own mouth with that last kiss, wondering if it were an accident or done on purpose. She later decided on the latter. She knew that kiss was going to plague most of her mind for awhile, not in a bad way, in a curious state of mind. But for now she had matters to attend to. He spoke to her, wishing that one day he'd help her understand him. "I plan to." She said with a smile, her curiosity for the man growing by the minute. Helios diverted his attention form her to the captive, as did she. [member="Helios Venth"] then had a sudden outburst at the captive which made Kalyn jump slightly but nothing more, she looked up at him with arched eyebrows and a smile as he threatened to pull his limbs off. He then turned to her with his own smile and said he'd be off in the kitchen. She nodded as she stood up and walked over to the restrained man.

She pulled up a chair and sat beside the man, "My names Kalyn." She started off with simple formalities, "Yours?" The man gave her a smug look and turned away, Kalyn folded her arms and leaned back in the chair, "Fine, I don't need your name. But know that I am not here to harm you, the sooner you answer my questions the sooner your set free." She said, not mentioning that if he was involved in weapons dealing, there would be consequences, not necessarily dealt by her but the Commenor government itself, as Helios had told her the Queen would not be happy with this. "But know I will get my answers, it's just up to you whether you want to answer by free will or have me roam through your mind to get the answers, either way there's no pain and it's your choice." She explained, making it sound like the man was somewhat in control of the situation having been given an option.

"Ugh, what do you want?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes obviously wanting to get this over with. "Are you dealing with mercenaries and bounty hunters and selling them high-end weaponry?" She asked firmly. She noticed his eyes dart to the side, which gave Kalyn a clear hint that he had something he was hiding. He turned his head back to her, "I'm not involved in it but I git some friends who are." He responded. Kalyn looked at him suspiciously unsure whether he was telling the truth or trying to weasel his way out of the mess, she decided to let him go on. "Continue." She said with a small wave of her hand.

"That's all I know." He finished bluntly. Kalyn frowned at him, she could sense he was lying, either there was more to the story or what he'd just told her was a lie. She stood up, "You're lying, tell the truth or I will use the Force to see into your mind." She warned him.

"Either that or I can try and figure out how to crush a kidney with the force." Helios added on in a sadistic and absent minded manner. Just... Trying to be helpful, of course. "You only need one functioning one after all." he added on a positive note. As he began to softly sing a tune under his breath. Helios to add additionally helpfulness caused a small meaningless ball of metal, get turned into a scrunched up scrap metal, with the clench of his fist. So, if the man had a hint of doubt about the pain Helios was willing to inflict, it would be out of the question by now.

Yes, Helios may not have a master. Helios may not of used the force much through his life. Though it was clear Helios held some trait, which allowed him to adapt and learn techniques in a generally swift fashion. Though even Helios knew there was probably limits to what he could learn on his own. Plus, Helios took into account, Kalyn's advice that he needed to tone the learning back some. To stop forcing his body to do something until it was ready for it.

Helios looked to Kalyn and remembered to breathe. As he relaxed back and hummed. "Sorry." Helios spoke to Kalyn. To make it clear he was aware he stepped out of line. Though he hoped his actions made the man. Who appeared to have whitened a few shades. A lot more co-operative to Kalyn and her peaceful means of extracting information. Perhaps make the man even feel grateful to Kalyn, for not having let Helios proceed with his own plans.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Her head fell to the side, looking at Helios after he finished proposing his idea to the man. She gave him a look asking if that was necessary, though smiling softly in the process. She turned back to the man who noticeably had quietened down after seeing Helios threaten him once again. "Don't mind him, I won't allow for that." She assured, "...but continue to be a pain to cooperate with and I could make an exception." She said sitting back down, smirking slightly. Of course she'd never allow for such a thing, but the man didn't need to know that.

She could see an immense hatred for her and [member="Helios Venth"] growing in the mans eyes. She couldn't blame him to a certain extent, after all they were holding him captive, but he could walk away as soon as he answered the questions truthfully, he was only delaying his own freedom. "You want out, you answer my questions. It's as simple as that." She said once again.

Her head turned back to Helios when he apologised for what he did. She shook her head, "It's ok." She said, instantaneously forgiving him, not that she was mad with him in the beginning. The man was getting on her own nerves, she didn't mind riling him up a little, just no inflicting pain, that was where she drew the line.

She looked back at the man, "Now, shall we try that again?" She asked with a smile. "Are you dealing high-end weaponry to mercenaries and bounty hunters?" She asked, studying him carefully for any signs of off-putting body language, not that he had he luxury of much movement. He glared at Kalyn, who only held the eye contact, channelling the Force to sense any false information. He sighed finally realising he wasn't getting out without giving Kalyn what she wanted.

"A shipment, I sent one out a few days ago, something happened. I don't know if it was delayed or if it was lost, I don't know! But it wasn't delivered and the Merc didn't get the weapons he wanted and I got ripped off and cheated out of the deal. No money and I lost the weapons." He finally explained. Kalyn looked down to the ground, so Commenor is dealing with mercs and bounty hunters, at least this man anyway. She looked back to him with a smile, "Thanks for cooperating!"

Helios was about to take a nap. When the man finally gave an answer. "I almost feel sorry for what comes next!" Helios said as he did genuinely look sorry. Before he reached out with the force. Then invaded the man's mind. Helios didn't blame the man as fear and confusion clouded his face. Though before the man could make any protest. Helios repeated the process of last evening and rendered the man unconscious. He made his actions so quick and precise. It was like when he knocked Kalyn out. He didn't want to offer time for Kalyn to intervene with Helios.

Helios then looked Kalyn. "I promise I didn't hurt him... Too badly." Helios said and smiled a little. "However seeming this man admitted to shipping weapons illegaly to mercenaries. I am afraid I will be having to take him to be sentenced and punished. I assure you. The punishment is not harsh. He will just be sentenced to labor which helps fuel our planets economy." Helios explained to Kalyn. As he stood and walked over to her.

When Helios arrived to Kalyn. He softly touched her un-injured shoulder. "I will report to my superiors, as you must report to yours. I truly hope you have a safe journey." Helios said as he kissed her forehead gently. Before unstrapping the man and collecting him. As he turned and headed for the door. "I could escort you to the space port... Either that or we can part ways here, and both handle our business." Helios offered her calmly.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Helios spoke towards the man and Kalyn turned to wards him confused as to what he was going to do next, he then reached out with the Force, performing a mind trick. Kalyn didn't know whether he was simply fishing through his mind to see if there were any lies within his explanation or if he was harming him. Either way, Kalyn stood up and was about to stop him before Helios stopped himself, or more like finished what he was doing. Kalyn looked back to the man who now had his head limply lying to the side, his eyes closed and body less tense than what it was before.

"Just can't help yourself can you?" She said before folding her arms, a small smile playing on her lips. She listened as [member="Helios Venth"] explained what the punishment would be for the unconscious man. Labour. That was reasonable. She nodded, "That is fine, I'll have to let the council know that he is being dealt with reasonably back on Commenor. They will be content to know the issue has been dealt with."

She reached behind to make sure her lightsaber was with her, happy that she could feel the cold hilt of the weapon. "Yes I'll have to let them know the missions complete." She replied, receiving yet another gentle kiss to her forehead. She smiled as Helios took care of the captive. Helios gave her the option to part ways here or else he could escort her. A part of her didn't want to go just yet, and no matter how hard she fought it she couldn't turn down the offer. "I wouldn't mind the escort." She said looking down slightly shyly.

Helios walked over to Kalyn as she shyly looked down. "I am glad... I would prefer spending as much time with you as I can." he said as he wrapped his free arm around her waist. "I would place it around your shoulders... But with your injury." Helios shyly explained as he looked to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] and waited patiently. He hoped she didn't mind his arm around her. As he looked to the door. If she wanted some space she could move away. Helios didn't hold her firmly as if though forcing her.

Either way Helios proceeded towards his door. As he opened it and began to escort her to the space port. "On the way there. I will drop the man off at the holding cells, and I will write a quick report. As to why I have detained him." Helios spoke as he lead Kalyn along the streets. It was only a few blocks until he came to the place he spoke of. Helios laid the man at the feet of a few guards. "Please escort the man to a holding cell." Helios spoke as the men nodded abd carried him away. As Helios pulled out a datapad from a shelf. Then quickly left a breif report of the interrogation.

Helios then turned and began to lead Kalyn down the street once more. This time his pace was gradually slower. As he wanted to take a few moments to just savor her company. Before they had to depart ways since the first time they had met. As Helios couldn't help but feel a little saddened. Though no harm would come from her departure. Helios had promised her that it wouldn't.

She looked back up at him, smiling when he responded happily to her decision. Her eyes widened slightly as she quickly checked her pocket to make sure she had the necklace with her before they left, wanting to restore it just as [member="Helios Venth"] had asked her to do. When she felt the chain tangle itself around her fingers she relaxed. He then wrapped his arm around her waist, the movement surprised her nonetheless but she didn't reject it, if anything moving slightly closer to him. She was happy he took into account her injury and didn't make it any worse, she wanted it healed as soon as possible. "Its fine." She replied cheerily.

She moved towards the door with Helios. She nodded once he finished explaining what he'd do with the man on the way to the space port. The guards carried him off to the cells where they weren't visible to any outsiders. Even though the man was unconscious she tried to lean to the side to see if she could get a better look and make sure the man was taken to a cell safely. She managed to watch them walk down the hallway but once they turned the corner they were out of sight. She nodded mostly to herself happy everything went well. Helios had finished writing out the report on the datapad and returned to Kalyn, continuing escorting her.

She sighed sadly and quietly, as the duo neared the space port. Inevitably they'd have to say their goodbyes sooner or later. She couldn't quite figure out if there was one specific reason she felt sad to leave or if it was a cluster of things that all came form this particular individual she'd met. They reached the ship. She turned around to face Helios, she couldn't express her thanks enough for helping her. Without thinking twice she stood on her tippy toes, closing the height difference between the two and hugging him, wrapping her arms around his neck, "Bye." She said quietly.

Helios helped her by gently picking her up. His actions gentle and careful as he hugged her back. He hated the thought of departing someone he had come so close to. In such a short bit of time. "I'd kidnap you and keep you if I could." he mumbled to her. His tone both honest and teasing. As he smiled softly to her. "Be safe, and goodbye." he returned her comment. As he gently set her back down on the ground. Helios took a few steps back. Gave a small wave, and then to prevent drawing out the goodbye, and making it more depressing then it already was. Helios spun on his heel and forced dashed out of the space port.

Helios returned to his apartment. As he looked around the place. It seemed... Rather empty now. Helios frowned as he quietly paced around his home. Searching for something. His rational side knew he wasn't going to find. As it was just a distant hope his manic side was cleaning onto. Helios heaved a sigh and settled down in his bed. Slipping into a quiet state of meditation. To help keep his mind as balanced as possible. To keep his promise to Kalyn.

----

~unspecified amount of time later~

Helios quietly walked along the streets. It was another quiet day. Helios had still felt rather empty since Kalyn's departure. Though he had found ways... Non violent ways to cope. Even though he still occasionally wanted to burn something. During Kalyn's time away Helios had spent most of his time meditating upon the force. To seek wisdom and guide him to new techniques and finding ways to open himself up to using the force.

Helios was thinking today was going to be a peaceful day. In fact he was highly optimistic of the fact. Until Helios felt his hairs tingle. Helios walked along down one of the shadier allies of Chasin city. As he heard a familiar voice. Followed by a pause, followed by a muffled struggle. As Helios furrowed his eyebrows. Trying to place where he heard the voice before. It didn't matter though at the moment.

Helios proceeded down the alley. As he tried to seek out where the struggle was occurring. Figure out more specifically who was struggling and why. Helios turned the corner and noticed he was nearing the market area where they had busted the one guy. As he blinked and finally arrived at the scene of the struggle. Helios wasn't quite sure what he would be getting into this evening. Though once more Helios was quite sure it was trouble.

Kalyn laughed lightly as he said he'd kidnap her, the two pulled away and with a final wave, Kalyn was on board her ship and flying back to the Jedi council. She put the ship into hyperdrive as the stars around her turned into white streaks of light. She leaned back in the chair, sighing once again.

She pulled the necklace out of her pocket and smiled at it, keeping her promise to restore it.

---

The council had been pleased with Kalyn's work though she had to let them know it wasn't all her doing and that she did have assistance. They now knew where the bounty hunters and mercs were getting their weaponry and that was just one evil in the galaxy they could finally tame. Though no doubt, Kalyn knew the mercs and bounty hunters would find another way to get their hands on more weaponry.

She hadn't been given a follow up mission and was temporarily off the hook so to speak, she chose to use this time to return to Commenor. She jumped on board the ship, pressing the button to close the ramp with a jump in her walk, sitting down onto the chair and punching in the coordinates. Soon enough she arrived on the familiar planet, the memory of her last mission coming back to her as if it was only yesterday.

She landed in the space port and got off, making her way to the city. It wasn't until she ended up in a shadier part of the city that she realised she had no idea where she was going. She scoffed at herself and tried looking around for any familiar monuments, signs or shops. None of which rang a bell. "Wait...If I came in from there...and made a left..then-" She was trying to remember how to get to where she wanted trying to remember her last visit here.

A unpleasant raspy voice broke her out of her thoughts, hearing the voice demanding money. Her curiosity spiked within her and she followed the voice, trying to find its source. It lead her to bunch of men, some sort of gang or group she guessed, she didn't care, what she did care about was the fact they were cornering a young woman and her child, demanding money from them.

"Hey!" She called out, "Step away from the woman and child." She warned, slowly raising her hand to her saber but not yet revealing it. The 'leader', she assumed, turned to face her, "Now what do we have here? A little girl tryna be the 'hero'" He said waving his hands in the air at the end of his sentence, the rest of his friends laughing. They weren't big or muscular looking, but what they lacked in strength they made up for in numbers.

She didn't break focus as she noticed two men move closer to her, one on either side, while the rest were all in front of her. "Last warning. Leave. Them. Alone." She said firmly. The one that had been speaking to her smirked and nodded towards his men, before swiftly pulling out a blaster and shooting at Kalyn. She quickly moved to the side dodging the shot before the man to her left swung a sword at neck level. She bent back, landing on her hands and flipping backwards once the sword had passed over her. Unfortunately she'd stuffed up the landing and tripped falling backwards.

Helios spotted Kalyn and for a second. He felt quite pleased at the progress she was making in the fight. Helios looked to the woman and child the men had cornered and growled. Helios didn't stand for people harming children. Though that though was broken when he turned his attention to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] and noticed her fall. Helios forced dashed behind her. As he caughtt her in his arms and flipped back. Landing in a knelt position. Long enough to get Kalyn onto her feet before standing up. "Miss me beautiful?" he said as a affectionate method of teasing her.

Helios looked to the men and smirked. As he counted the numbers. The men appeared smug. Over confident in their odds. Helios reached out to Kalyn and sent her a message. ~Would this constitute as a kill them with fire moment, or must I be reasonable?~ Helios asked her for a suggestion. As as much as he loved fire and burning things. Helios had feelings that were stronger for Kalyn, though which had yet to be explored. Helios absolutely refused to place Kalyn in a position in which he inflicted terror upon her. After all he did enough of that his first encounter.

Additionally, Helios didn't intend to stand idolly when someone intentionally tried to harm Kalyn. Helios was starting to draw Kalyn's well beign as a higher priority to his own health. Whether she liked the thought of that or not. So when a man took a shot at her. Helios spun in front of Kalyn. His hand made a cirfular motion. As at first Helios looked like he was flat out taking the hit. Though a second later the blaster bolt was flung into a nearby wall. As mentioned... Helios had learned a few new force tricks as a coping skill.

Kalyn felt arms catch her, not knowing who it was until she regained her footing and hearing a familiar voice she'd never forget, "Helios!" She said with a wide smile on her face. A wave of happiness washed over her as she saw him once again

She quickly got the message Helios sent her through the Force, asking if he could use his fire. Kalyn thought about it, ~Just around them, don't hit them directly. Surround them.~ She said allowing him to use his fire. She noticed and appreciated how he'd first asked her, as if he was wary of what her reaction would be if he acted without first consulting her.

She heard a blaster shot come flying towards Kalyn and then [member="Helios Venth"] jumping in front of her, her eyes widened as it appeared Helios had taken the shot. She waited for him to cry out in pain or fall to the ground, but nothing happened. Until her eyes caught sight of the same blaster bolt flying into the wall. "Woah," She said looking at the scorched wall, she looked back at Helios smirking slightly, "you've been practicing." She said before she moved into position around the men, finally igniting her lightsaber and starting to herd them together into a group

Helios studied Kalyn. As he assisted with his fire. His eyes blazing as he tossed a stream here, and a stream there. Though never near Kalyn out of fear of harming her. Helios acted defensively when he saw any projectile head towards Kalyn. Sending the bolt away from her. So she had less things to worry about. In her dance to gather up the men. Helios wondered how she planned to deal with them. He hoped she had learned from there last fight and intended to kill them swiftly.

Helios debated if he would follow through on his promise. That if she didn't kill the next person that attacked them. Heliosnwould burn them alive. In any other circumstance Helios would of followed through. Though Kalyn was someone special to him. So, Helios was more hesitant towards the thought of doing something that would truamatize her. Helios finally settled on the fact that he would slightly burn them. So he was still honest, though showed he cared enough to respect Kalyn's beliefs.

Helios heaved a sigh of relief once they appeared to be gathered in a circle. As he finished his fire for now. Then let Kalyn decide how she handled the situation. As Helios and her had to different opinions on the matter. Helios prepared his fire to light the mens lags on fire should Kalyn not put them down either by knocking them out, disabling them, or killing them.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn saw the streams of fire fly everywhere to gather the men except where she stood, knowing that she would not be in harms way. As the men slowly started to back up into each other and huddle up in a group her mind started racing with what to do with them. She remembered the last time she fought with a thug in the presence of Helios and remembered he said he'd burn them alive if she failed to impale them.

Once the fire surrounded them she calmed down and caught her breath for a second before holding her hand out and creating a gap between the ring of fire that surrounded the men, allowing for a safe entrance to the men. She brought her saber up over her head, ready to strike them down. For a second she thought she'd do it, kill them all if she could. Her eyes then flickered to the child hiding behind his mother, terrified. The red colour reflecting from the flames onto the child's face.

She sighed before she lowered her saber and created another gap in the fire, leaving the men and walking away from them, she stopped, raising her hand up as all the mens weapons flew into the air. She then brought her hand into a fist, as all the blasters and other various weapons broke and concaved in on itself. As she brought her hand down all the weapons fell to the ground.

She watched as the mother picked up her child nodding at her in thanks before running off, still in shock.

Helios was glad when it looked like she might actually have listened. Though then she stopped her course. Instead choosing to disarm then men. As Helios blinked and frowned. Helios went to follow through when he too noticed the mother, and terrified child. He winced and frowned some. As he shoom his head a little. Yes, he was glad [member="Kalyn Tyree"] was in charge of this round up. As soon as the child and mother was away. To be sure Helios stayed in the pacifist method of things. Helios reached out and rendered the men unconscious.

Helios came up behind Kalyn and softly pinned her arms behind her back. It wasn't a painful hold, and it was done that if Kalyn was truly worried. She would be able to slip free. If she honestly felt uncomfortable. Helios clamped a soft hand over Kalyn's mouth. Again much similar to the way he pinned her arms. Effectively, though with option to escape unharmed.

Helios leaned down and whispered into her ear. "I am kidnapping you " he said in his gentle and teasing tone. Hinting that the kidnapping had to be voluntarily executed of course. As Helios planted a kiss on Kalyn's forehead and leaned over enough to look down into her eyes. With a soft and affectionate expression. "If you will let me keep you for a while of course." Helios added with a shy hint of tone to his voice.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn turned her head over her shoulder and noticed the men drop unconscious, thanks to [member="Helios Venth"] . She continued slowly walking away from the group of men. She heard Helios run up behind her and gently grab her arms, pinning them behind her playfully. She smiled as he then placed his hand over her mouth.

She laughed as he said he was kidnapping her, he kissed her forehead before looking down to her. Kalyn leaned her head back slightly so as to look up at him from behind. She moved her head slightly in order to move away from his hand to speak. "Well, I have time off, I didn't come back to Commenor for nothing." She answered in reply to his question.

She then smirked slightly, twisting her wrist and grabbing his own in return, lifting both their arms over their head and spinning around so that Kalyn was now holding Helios's hands behind his back. She stood up on her tippy toes once again and placed her chin on his shoulder, "What've you been up to?" She asked curiously.

"Not killing people or burning buildings down." Helios replied sounding genuinely disappointed at the fact. As he let Kalyn hold his hands behind his back. He glanced over to her and kissed her cheek softly. "I had a promise to keep." he admitted. As he looked to her with a caring expression. When Helios was ready to be free. He in turn twisted his wrists and softly broke Kalyn's grasp. As he spun and softly placed his arms around her and hugged her close. "I missed you. Quite a lot." Helios admitted as he softly held her. His left hand gently rubbed her back as he smiled a little.

Helios eventually hesitantly withdrew from the embrace. As he thought about something. He had kissed the corner of Kalyn's lips the last time they were together. He looked down to her and blushed a little. "Would..." Helios started to ask. As he thought a moment. Not wanting to push Kalyn away in any manner. "Would you mind if... If I kissed you?" Helios finally asked Kalyn. As he glanced down shyly. He felt like asking her for permission. Instead of just acting off of a random impulse. As Helios felt feelings for Kalyn that developed at a strong rate, and though their certain moral disagreements, Helios couldn't help the feelings from growing stronger.

Helios looked to Kalyn again and waited. As he notices his heart was racing. While his breathe was short. As he waited in what seemed like a slowed reality. Waiting to see if the feelings he had towards the woman he had met. Was reflected, or if he was placing false hopd into something. As he placed his hands behind his back. Helios held a calmness however. That held an aura that no matter how Kalyn replied. Helios would not do something violent and irrational as a result. As Helios could respect Kalyn and her opinion. However she may choose to respond.

Kalyn laughed lightly at Helios's unhappy and disappointed tone in his voice as he had been deprived from using his fire to kill or burn something. He kissed her cheek and said he'd had a promise to keep. She looked at him sweetly, remembering the promise he'd made to her. She was happy that he'd remembered and kept his word, even in her absence away from Commenor.

She found Helios start to become very loyal to her, not in a slave or against his will kind of way. No, it was a loyalty she'd seen grow in him throughout her time with him. She noticed it every time she had to deal with him, every little choice he made always somehow reflected her own choice and beliefs. He turned his wrist and broke the hold, Kalyn loosening her grip, not that it was very tight to begin with. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer, in return she wrapped her arms around his waist, her head getting buried in his chest due to the height between the duo, "I missed you too." She replied honestly.

He then pulled away, she looked at him curiously as he seemed to contemplate over something. He started to speak but drifted off debating whether to continue or not. Kalyn tilted her head, smiling at him as he tried to find the words. He asked is he could kiss her. Her head perked up as the question slightly took her a little off guard. She smiled as a light shade of pink made its way to her cheeks. She shook her head in the negative, "No.." She said letting him know she didn't mind. She took a shy step closer, to close the gap between the two.

She started feeling her heart race at a rate that was unpleasant but exhilarating at the same time. She started to get butterflied in her stomach as she got closer to [member="Helios Venth"]

Helios almost caught a breath of relief. If not for the fact he was now excited at testing this new experience. As he too stepped closer to Kalyn. Finishing whatever distanced had separated the two of them. As he reached out and softly took a hold of her chin. Not enough to hurt her. As he tipped her head up. His hand then sliding to rest on her cheek. As he lightly stroked his thumb across her cheek. Helios used his free hand to brush some of her hair out of her eyes. As he offered a shy but warm smile to her. Locking his blue eyes with her brown eyes.

Helios then slowly leaned down. Pressing his lips softly against Kalyn's as he didn't rush the kiss. Instead slowly easing into it. As Helios noted her lips had a sweet flavor, and a warm nature to there coolness. It probably was a reflection of her personality. That was the best guess Helios could give. As he continued the kiss gradually. Evolving it to one with affection and passion. As Helios let his mind go blank for the moment. Solely focusing on Kalyn. He let the kiss endure for a moment. Though hesitantly pulled away after a bit as he looked down to Kalyn. He reached out and softly tapped her nose. "Mine." Helios declared to her in a loving and playful tone to her. As Helios wasn't sure what the future would bring for the two of them. Though at that moment. Helios knew he would place his efforts to ensure that whatever came. Helios was by Kalyn's side as they passed.

Of course he still was going to help her. He saw it as a game between the two of them now. His desire to do so, and Kalyn's stubborn will to refuse to let him. Though he knew regardless of the facts. He cared for her deeply and would never press to a point of hurting her... Too badly as not everything was certain when you were mentally unstable. "Um... If you have awhile. I had a few thoughts of what we could do." Helios suggested to her. To finally further break the silence between them. Helios looked to her and tapped the area her lightsaber hilt was. "I would like to make my own..." Helios finally decided to her. "If you are willing to help me collect the materials and build it. Of course." Helios added. As he softly took [member="Kalyn Tyree"] by her hand. Then began to guide her back to his apartment.

Helios already had an idea what he wanted for his personal lightsaber(s). As he hummed and looked to her curiously. Taking the walk slow and easy. As he was still a bit dazed by the kiss. Even if someone was a poor kisser. Which Kalyn was by no means such a thing. When you were with the right individual. Every kiss was mind scrambling. Helios had an uncertain knowledge. That Kalyn was the right person for him. She understood him, better then many other individuals did, and much more then some bothered to try. So, Helios would cherish his time with her. However her and him decided to spend it.

Kalyn's heart raced and ceased to calm down, no matter how hard she tried to steady her breathing. He brought his hand up and tilted her chin upwards to him before his hand made its way to her cheek, stroking her with his thumb. His touch sent shivers down her spine, a weird sensation she hadn't felt before. He brushed some hair out of her eyes. She smiled up to him, looking into his blue eyes

She brought her face closer to his own and he leaned in, as her eyes slowly closed shut her lips touched his in a matter of seconds, slowly moving with him. His lips seemed slightly chapped but in a soft way, not making the kiss uncomfortable in the slightest. Her right hand slid up his shoulder and rested behind his neck. She quite enjoyed it, she'd never felt this feeling before with anyone. The once soft gentle kiss turned into something a little more heated, full of affection and care for the other individual. She completely melted into the kiss, not thinking about what was happening, just doing what felt right without a second thought. But like all good things it had to come to an end, as she felt Helios pull away. He tapped her nose claimed her as his own in a playful tune. She laughed at the gesture. Something about Helios made her feel differently, a good different.

She didn't know why but she held a place in her heart for Helios. Something about him or perhaps him entirely made her connect with him instantaneously. To be honest she didn't care why, she knew she did and that was good enough for her. [member="Helios Venth"] spoke, breaking her out of her gaze with him, she nodded her head, "Like what?" She asked, he then looked down and tapped her side, or more precisely her lightsaber, she looked down at the weapon and back up to him as he declared he'd like to make one for himself, and asking for her help in constructing one. "Course I'll help." She said, agreeing without a second thought. Helios took her hand and the duo headed back to his apartment. On the way Kalyn was starting to remember when she had first made her lighstaber back at the temple. The sense of achievement and accomplishment that washed over you afterwards was worth the hard work and concentration throughout the construction of the weapon.

The two walked in silence back to the apartment, though Kalyn's mind was filled with the feelings she felt during the kiss she shared with Helios, no doubt he was too. She kept replaying the scenario in her mind, sighing contently. She found the two of them had bonded and connected in such a short amount of time and Kalyn wondered how it was possible but happy it happened. She knew things would happen and situations would arise, it wouldn't be life if it didn't but she knew they'd figure out a way to overcome them. No matter what the situation.
