Sanity Seems Counter-Productive

Helios entered his apartment as he walked to the kitchen. The gracefully placed [member="Kalyn Tyree"] up and set her on the counter. "Sit there and look beautiful for a moment, Darling." Helios instructed her. As he pulled out two cups from the cupboard and began to take the time to boil some water in a pot. Helios walked over and leaned back on the counter where he had set Kalyn. As he looked to her with his affectionate demeanor towards her. "I do hope you know. Under no circumstances am I letting you go." Helios spoke to her in a gentle tone. He didn't mean hold her bound and gagged of course. Helios was just promising Kalyn no matter how frustrated a situation may make them, nor how tragic the times. Helios was going to be there to pull Kalyn through it, and keep her close to him.

When Helios claimed her as his. Every fiber of his existence had attached himself to her. As he blushed and thought about the kiss. He was looking forward to the future displays of intimacy the newly formed, and rather odd couple may develop. As he hummed softly and studied Kalyn. His eyes dissecting her every feature in a surgical manner. As he found her flawless. He kissed her cheek. Then went over to the water and prepared the two cups of tea. As Helios returned and handed her, the cup he prepared for her.

Helios wondered if Kalyn had any doubts about letting Helios hold a weapon of his own. Though he supposed if she trusted hin to kiss her, and find a place in her heart. Helios assumed Kalyn would trust him not to go on a blood thirsty rampage. Helios thought about it and hummed. As he smiled some the thought of the act seemed silly to him now. Helios drank his cup of tea and reflected upon events. "How about we take a day or two to rest, and then we set out to gather materials." Helios offered her and smiled warmly.

As they walked into the apartment, Helios lead her to the kitchen before suddenly lifting her up and placing her on the counter, Kalyn smirked as she crossed her legs and placed her elbow on her knee, her palm holding her chin as she watched [member="Helios Venth"] move to boil the water, making tea she assumed. She started playing with a strand of her hair, twirling it around her finger as she waited for Helios, she looked to the corner of her eye and saw that he'd been leaning on the counter looking at her with affection in his eyes, for who knows how long, Kalyn got a little absorbed in her hair. She smiled at him, listening as he spoke. She laughed softly once he finished, understanding how he meant it, "Neither am I." She replied, leaning over and placing a quick kiss on his forehead, given the change in height and Kalyn temporarily being taller from sitting on the counter.

After receiving a quick kiss on her cheek, Helios went to grab the tea he'd prepared and handed her a cup. "Thank you." She said, taking a sip of the warm liquid. She enjoyed the drink as a sudden thought popped into her head, she hadn't seen Helios's more 'manic' side in a long time. She wondered if it was this new feeling that had somehow subdued that side to him, definitely not getting rid of it entirely, she didn't believe anything could do that as something very traumatic had caused it in the first place. But she did believe that he could learn to resist that side of him.

Kalyn's mind then wandered to lightsabers and Helios making his own, any other time she wouldn't of allowed the man to wield his own weapon, especially that of a lightsaber. But given recent events, she trusted him enough to believe he wouldn't use it needlessly or carelessly. She prayed she wouldn't be mistaken. He then proposed the idea of resting for one or two days before they set out to gather the materials. Kalyn nodded immediately, never shying from accepting a 'lazy day' given the fact the Jedi council regularly gave out mission, big or small, it was rare they got a break. She was surprised she got a break this time, though she considered it was the fact she'd taken care of the weaponry issue, with some help of course.

She placed her tea onto the counter before jumping down and picking her cup back up and making her way to the lounge room, sitting on the couch. Her head sprung up once again as she remembered something, "Oh! I almost forgot," She said whilst fishing through her pocket, "Look!" She said holding out the chain that Helios had once give her, which was now a shining sterling silver with no charred marks on it.

He looked at the locket. "What a beautiful piece of jewlery... I am glad you took the time to give it a new start." Helios decided as like Kalyn, Helios saw the necklace as something new and something promising. As he leaned in and gave her a soft and sweet kiss. Much simpler, though still as loving as the first one. "How was I so lucky to have you in my life?" he asked her softly. Before he drank his tea and rinsed his cup out. "So... Either we share the bedroom, or I crash on the couch." Helios decided to offer her the choice. If they shared the bedroom. Helios would be careful to make sure nothing happened. As he didn't want to advance too heavily upon Kalyn.

There was a preciousness towards patience. As Helios helped pick Kalyn up off the counter and back onto the floor. As he reached out and tapped her nose softly. Helios then turned and headed to the living room. As he laid quietly on the couch and closed his eyes. Waiting patiently for Kalyn to join him in the room. As he thought about how to ass the evening with her.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

She hummed shortly before speaking again. "I had it restored shortly after I gave the council my report on the last mission." Se said, admiring the piece of jewellery as it slowly spun around as the locket dangled form the chain held in her hand. She then heard him ask how he was so lucky to have her with him, she ceased looking at the necklace and focused on him, "Well! You captured me after I sneaked into the trade system here." She replied to his question with a playful smirk on her face. She by no means meant to bring up the past when he had her restrained or anything similar, she meant the statement simply in a joking manner.

After taking the final sip of her tea, [member="Helios Venth"] offered they both take the bed or he slept on the couch. Kalyn remembered last time she'd stayed the night here and had slept in the bed whilst Helios stayed outside. "Oh, no, I don't want to steal your bed again, I'm happy to take the couch."

Helios laid on the couch and shook his head. As he smiled playfully. "Under no circumstances am I letting you sleep anywhere other then my bed. It is my home, so don't argue!" Helios said in a loving yet serious manner. As he looked to her and returned her smirk. He thought about her statement. Regarding how he was so lucky to have met her. Deciding to take it how she meant it. Not as it directly stood out. "You made such a lovely prisoner. Though a much better partner." Helios decided.

Helios softly hummed as he looked to the bedroom. Then back to Kalyn as he tilted his head a little. He decided to remain laying on the couch for now. He knew how stubborn she was. Though Helios was going to be equally adamant on certain subjects. He did not believe that a guest should have to sleep on the floor, or on a couch. Not even a guest that at some ppint down the line. May hold a long term residencey with him. As he looked about and thought of what to do.

"So, where would you prefer we go to collect lightsaber crystals and thr other materials?" Helios asked. In his personal opinion, they should try to stick to neutrally alligned worlds. As Helios didn't want to get into quarrel with any particular faction. Not until he had a weapon. As Helios even had mild considerations to build a military power at some point or another. Though he kept some of his ideas in the back of his mind. He didn't want to jump ahead too quickly.

Helios went back to thinking of Kalyn... It was becoming increasingly easier for his mind to be side tracked by this topic. He wondered if she had any concerns she would like to express. Either that or if she had any rules she felt she needed to place. As Helios looked to her snd tilted his head a little. Both for their personal life, and the future missions they may go on. As Helios knew there was times he would take charge, and there was moments Kalyn would be too stubborn to accept anything else.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn huffed and looked to the side as she folded her arms and tapped her foot as Helios wouldn't allow her to sleep on the couch. She knew he was just being loving and caring but he could make an exception just this one time. Though from the way he ended his sentence Kalyn knew it didn't matter how stubborn she was he was adamant that that was how it was going to be. She laughed in return to his comment about her making a much better partner. "Well I much rather be your partner rather than your prisoner."She laughed lightly at the end.

She realised [member="Helios Venth"] was simply being hospitable. But Kalyn didn't feel ok stealing his bed for what was now the second time. Kalyn knew her stubbornness can be a hindrance and greatly annoying at times but she couldn't help it.

"Well when I was constructing my own lightsaber I had to go to Ilum to retrieve my kyber crystal. We had to go into the ice cave and the Force guided us to our own crystal." She explained, as the day she found her kyber crystal started to come back to her. It was freezing! She'd never forget that. But all the trouble, the cold temperatures and trials she had to endure to gain her kyber crystal in the end was all worth it. "The hilt however is something you must decide on. I've seen hilts that are made from materials sacred to ones planet, there are other hilts designed to suit the Jedi in their preferred way of fighting. The hilt is the somewhat more personalised feature of the weapon."

After she'd finished explaining everything her mind wandered and eventually lingered on the idea of Helios having his own lightsaber, and what he'd be capable of. "I...have to ask though, that once I help you construct your own lightsaber, you can't use it carelessly or needlessly. The power of the lightsaber should not be abused as its a very delicate yet powerful weapon." She said. It was not the fact she didn't trust him it was simply the fact she needed to be clear of what was expected from her if they constructed a lightsaber for him.

Helios finally sat up on the couch. As he reached out and softly caught Kalyn by her arm. Gently tugging in an attempt to insist she sit beside him. As he listened to her quietly place her suggestions. Helios resisted the urge to scowl at the thought of having to return to an area controlled by the order that had made him an outcast. It wasn't the most logical approach. Not that Helios generally followed logic. Though more importantly it didn't seem like the best place a individual such as Helios would approach. Especially seeming the particular crystals were resistant to dark side force users. Kyber was amoungst such a resistant type of crystal.

"We could go to Dantooine... For some reason I feel Dantari crystals would better suit my needs." Helios decided after a moment of thinking. "Of course we would have to deal with Kinrath. They are a hive species. They detect thermal signatures and scent." Helios acknowledged and considered the option. Helios was ill equipped to fight a creature. There was only so much punching a giant creature would do. Though Helios did have his fire... So there was that back up plan of course. Nothing better dealt with pest control then such a substance. Helios hummed softly and nodded his head. "Technically we could extract a scent gland or two from them... If we are lucky." he added on a positive note.

Helios turned to her and listened as she told him not to go about recklessly using a lightsaber. Why was that even a concern? Helios had fire for mass killing! Though on a side note. Helios understood her concerns. "You. Are a delicate yet powerful creation." He spoke and moved to kiss her cheek gently. "You don't see me dragging you into every rampage I consider starting. So don't be afraid of me having a lightsaber. I won't hack down everything that looks at me funny." he teased her softly. Though was also genuine about his intentions of not meaning to use the weapon poorly or recklessly.

Helios closed his eyes and sat back. Simply taking a good moment to relax and enjoy the time. As he considered what he should do with Kalyn the following day. Helios yawned a little and frowned some. As he looked to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] and smiled a little bit. Wondering what else she may have going througj her mind at the moment. As he tilted his head and decided to marvel upon her.

She sat down next to [member="Helios Venth"] as he suggested an alternate idea for constructing his lightsaber. She listened intently as he suggested Dantari crystals. She hummed and thought about it, she hadn't dealt with Datari crystals only heard vaguely of them, in turn she had zero experience with them, but assumed they worked the same way as Kyber crystals. Either way she'd figure it out when they came to that issue. She remembered when she made her own lightsaber and her teacher speaking of all the different types of crystals you could utilise to make your personal weapon. She also took note of the Kinrath Helios spoke of. She'd heard about these creatures, pain to deal with.

She looked back up at him, "Alright then. We can go to Dantooine." She agreed, "And we'll take care of the Kinrath, I'm positive they won't be a major issue." She finished, confident they'd be able to take out the Kinrath, or perhaps it was just her confidence turning her cocky. Either way she was optimistic.

Kalyn smiled after receiving Helios's comment accompanied with a soft kiss. It was true though what he said, he hadn't been causing any trouble, even in her absence. He'd resisted from burning people, going on rampage all of that and more. She believed him when he said she had nothing to fear from him wielding a lightsaber of his own. She smiled at him, full of relief and happiness. Though she didn't believe Helios would 'double-cross' her and use the lightsaber for harm or his own personal gain. She was glad Helios understood. "Thank you." She replied.

She laid back after she saw Helios had and laid between his torso and arm. She was playing with the fabric of the end of her robe whilst she thought about constructing lightsabers and was confident she knew what she was doing. "Do you know what you want your hilt to be like?" She chirped up, "You could have a standard hilt, a double bladed hilt, a curved hilt. Or even a shoto, which is basically a mini lightsaber but it's designed for your less dominant hand if one wishes to be a duel wielder." Now she was just rambling on about all the knowledge she'd learnt at the Jedi temple about lightsabers.

"I think I am going for dual blades with an interlocking hilt. To merge them as a saber staff. I think the diversity of styles would best reflect my nature." Helios spoke softly. He knew he was considering a complicated design. Though Helios himself was a complicated individual. With his mind not entirely in tact. Helios felt that having the power to elect at various moments; how he chose to wield his weapon(s), would be to his benefit. As sometimes Helios might wish to use a single lightsaber for a more defensive form, like how he wielded Kalyn's lightsaber in form III while he held her prisoner, two lightsabers for a more quick paced and aggressive approach, or a saber staff as a means to balance things out.

Helios hummed and looked over Kalyn as she rested beside him. He seemed to radiate an aura of contentness at the moment. As he returned to resting and closing his eyes. "This is nice." he finally pointed out. The simple joy of being able to appreciate her presence. Both physically and emotionally within his life. Helios even began to softly hum once more. As of course he had moments, where his mind couldn't help but consider a violent scenario of some sort. Like still wishing he could of burned the men back in the alley. Though for the most part his mind was centered, and he had her to thank for it.

Helios opened his eyes and looked to her. Leaning in and kissing her forehead. "What would you like to do for this evening, and this coming day?" Helios decided to give her the option to choose. Helios considered starting to 'help' her. However he would take that at a gentle, and non harmful approach. When Helios worked through how to accomplish such an approach. Helios looked about his apartment. As he reached out and called a puzzle over, to just idley fidget with the mechanism as something to do.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn listened to him talk about how he wanted his personal lightsaber to be crafted. Feeling as though the dual blades that interlocked to come together as one weapon, a saber staff, reflected his personality and nature. Kalyn ceased playing with her robes as he mentioned he wanted dual blades, knowing that they weren't the easiest to master, seeing as though you required your non-dominant hand. Not only would he have to learn how to use dual sabers, he'd also have to learn the art of saber staff fighting. Two different fight styles to learn without a Master. Though Kalyn had known Helios to be determined when it came to learning new skills, that was evident when it came to using the Force. He pushed himself, often to an unsafe extent. She had no doubt that Helios would show the same determination when it came to saber fighting

Whilst at the Jedi Temple when she first started saber fighting training, she'd been instructed to train using all the basic different types of lightsabers, these included your standard single lightsaber, dual blades and saber staff, in order to find which style of lightsaber suited your nature and/or fighting style. Throughout the many tests and trials she was put under she'd been best suited to the single lightsaber, as she was nimble and quick during lightsaber battles and found the single blade the easiest to manage when put together with her acrobatics and way of fighting.

She relaxed and hummed in agreement to [member="Helios Venth"] comment as she yawned, her eyelids drifting downwards. She heard Helios speak again, asking her what she wanted to do. She thought about it, not really knowing what there was to do in Commoner. "Umm, I'm kinda hungry, is there any where we can go to eat? Or do you have food here?" She asked.

Helios could almost feel Kalyn's concern for Helios wanting such a complicated design, and the fact he would have to learn so many styles. Though Helios couldn't see himself content wielding any other style of weapon. They could always talk his choice over as they traveled. Helios looked over to her and thought. "We could go out to eat. Chasin city has places to get food " Helios decided and nodded his head some. As he smiled a little and stood. Offering his hand down to Kalyn.

"Afterwards I vote we rest." Helios added as he yawned again. Resting now didn't sound bad to him. Though he wished to get Kalyn a decent meal. So she would at least be content to rest. Helios wasn't quite sure when she last ate. He didn't exactly have a means to track her every personal decision. He could try to create a forcs bond with her. Though those were tricky and sometimes dangerous to execute. Sometime it might be worth the effort however.

Helios proceeded to the door. Looking to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] and smiling brightly. As he considered where to take Kalyn for the evening. He then paused a little and thought. "Do we want something more elegant or casual?" Helios finally questioned. As he relaxed back not having yet opened the door. As he was excited and to a degree acting before thinking.

"Agreed!" She said in response to Helios wanting to rest afterwards. She took his hand as he pulled her to her feet, she quickly stretched and straightened herself up, swiftly brushing her fingers through her hair so that she was somewhat presentable, before following [member="Helios Venth"] to the door. She smiled at him as she was finally ready to get going and have something to eat.

She thought she could talk more to him about the different lightsabers and how much training he'd actually be taking on from the decision he'd made a few minutes ago. She wasn't in any way going to try and change his mind as she believed the one wielding the weapon should be the one to make the ultimate decision at the end of it. She just wanted to make it clear what he would have to do in order to become skilled at and master the particular weapon.

Her hand unintentionally ran up to her lightsaber that sat on her hip, making sure it was with her as it now became a natural instinct to check she was always with her weapon. She looked up to Helios who asked what sort of place she'd like to eat at. "Oh can we eat somewhere elegant?" She chirped, not having done something 'fancy' in a while. "If that's ok." She added just to double check it was alright with Helios.

Helios shrugged his shoulders and smiled a little. "I am sure it will be fine." Helios assured her. As he thought a moment and looked to his ragged attire. "If anything..." Helios began and then remembered who he was with. "Well, we'll cross that bridge if it comes about." Helios said and smiled brightly. Making it clear whatever he planned to do. Was likely a little cynical, and something Kalyn would probably not initially approve of. Helios reached out with the force and brushed against her conscious with it slightly. As Helios decided he wanted her to get accustomed to him reaching her mind with the force. Helios then began to wonder something. "Sometime later on down the line. Would you like to try and create an empathy bond?" Helios questioned her curiously. As he doubted either of them were skilled enough to properly form one now.

Helios opened the door and took Kalyn by the hand. As he quietly lead her back out into the streets of Chasin City. As he knew from here on he would need to keep a moderately lower reputation. He couldnt draw more then necesarry. Helios looked to her and smiled a little. "I am a martial artist... Learning various combat forms is nothing new to me. I have probably handled the essentials for most of the styles of lightsaber combat. From working with various weapons through my travels." Helios decided to acknowledge to Kalyn. Helios was well aware a lightsaber had different combat properties then most weapons. Seeing touching anything other then the hilt would result in injury. Though the principles at the very core were likely the same... He hoped at the very least.

Helios made a discovery that evening. As he lead Kalyn around the city. Finding a elegant and resonable place to eat... Was as complicated as you would assume. The more places Helios attempted. The more frustrated he got. Though for the sake of Kalyn. Helios stuck to mumbling his cynical thoughts of using fire, and tapping into the darkside to enslave the minds of these people. As an alternative to actually following through. As Helios began to occasionally twitch.

It wasn't until the final attempt. As Helios approached a place. That Helios had a minor melt down. Helios had started off being rather polite. However the Gamorrean bouncers seemed quite intent on making sure. That unless Helios and Kalyn had a reservation to the place. They remain outside. Helios' hand twitched and he suddenly acquired his eerily calm state of being. As his eyes glared fire at the men. The air even hinted of heating up a little. As suddenly the two creatures began to back away. If Kalyn knew better which Helios was sure she did. It was likely clear it wasn't the look Helios was given that was causing such a response.

Nope, Helios fingers twitched occasionally as the only sign of his force usage. As Helios reached out into their minds. He dug deep into the shadows. Drawing upon his anger to exploit the creatures fears and painful memories. As he began to use it to twist their minds. Helios finally got the two bouncers to stand up against the walls. As he warped their minds in their weakened and frightened state. One fearing an exploitation of stealing money from the pockects of customers. Which Helios absent mindedly acknowledged was a neat feat. For a creature as big and brutish as he was. The other deathly scared Helios would set him on fire.. Which was rather convinient as Helios truly felt like doing so.

Helios spoke into both of their minds with one clear message. ~Cross me again, and death will be mercifully to the things I will do to you ~ he promised. As he looked to Kalyn and offered an apologetic glance to her. He had spent quiet a while keeping his cynical side at bay... And at least he didn't outright burn them. In Helios mind that had to account for some sort of compromise. As he motioned for Kalyn to enter the place. Helios keeping silent as he knew Kalyn would likely lecture him at some point. Though right now Helios was in the process of centering his thoughts again.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

The duo were about to walk out the door and leave to find a place to eat at, as Helios asked about creating an empathy bond. Kalyn thought about it, she'd heard of them. Specifically between Jedi Masters and their own Padawan. The Force bond allowed for feelings and thoughts to be communicated between the two recipients. The Force bond also further helped coordination during battle. And the stronger the two were in the Force, the stronger the bond would be. Kalyn slowly nodded her head, still in thought about the idea. "Well, yeh, though I don't fully understand how to form one, I'd be willing to try." She responded to Helios, agreeing with the idea. She knew it had to do with feelings shared between the two desiring to make a Force bond, growing slowly as the two involved in the bond learn to understand the other.

She walked out with Helios, him taking her by the hand. She listened and looked forward as he spoke about his past experiences with various weapons and fighting styles, mentioning he probably had most if not all the essentials for handling a lightsaber. She hummed in agreement, "You will most definitely have a, head start," She said, "you will simply need to familiarise with the properties and getting used to the weapon itself." She replied. She had no doubt Helios would learn and train to become very skilled at whatever style of weapon he ended up choosing. He was a skilled enough fighter without weapons, as far as close combat goes.

Kalyn could feel the frustration radiate off Helios. Sensing he was getting more and more agitated every time a restaurant turned them down. She gently took a hold of his arm, not harshly, in an attempt to keep him calm as he spoke to the final pair of bouncers they'd be seeing for the night. She could feel the air have a slight heat to it all of a sudden, either that or she was getting nervous as to how Helios was going to respond to the men. She looked up to Helios, her mouth parted, ready to say something to him, to suggest they'd go somewhere else that wasn't as difficult to get into. That was until the Gamorreans started to back away.

She furrowed her eyebrows, confused. She looked back up to Helios and then down to his hand that wasn't holding her own, to see if there was any fire dancing around in his palm threateningly. There was nothing. She looked back to the bouncers that backed away in fear wondering what was wrong.

She suddenly felt a disturbance in the Force sensing that a Force user was utilising a Force technique. She looked back up to Helios and saw the level of concentration and how he was focusing on the two bouncers, she looked back at the Gamorreans and saw the fear on their faces. Putting two and two together she realised Helios was using mind tricks to instil their worst fears into their minds.

Helios looked to her after the bouncers did not hesitate to let us in, with an apologetic look. She gave an understand look in return. She would've rambled on about how that was not the way to go, and that they could've easily gone somewhere else for food. But she knew [member="Helios Venth"] was only trying so hard to get into a fancy restaurant as that was what Kalyn had wished for in the beginning. Besides things could've gone a lot worse than just a few scary images in their imagination. If he had gone any further however she would speak up.

Soon enough the duo were escorted to a table, Kalyn sat down, looking around at the restaurant and the people around her.

Yes, they both knew tonight wasn't the highlight of Helios' state of rational thinking. Though he knew and he was sure Kalyn knew this wasn't the low point of it either. He had stooped lower before. When he threatened to burn through Kalyn's arm if she didn't let him help. He hated to admit that he was ashamed of that moment. Though he hoped he expressed that he was through his choices since then. Not to say a similar incident wouldn't happen again. Though it was safe to say not for a long time.

Helios looked to Kalyn and then closed his eyes. As his breathing began to slow. He was wary enough not to calm himself completely. He didn't need to hover objects absent mindedly. Though Helios clearly was meditating on the lightside this instance. Helios like his personality, and like his choice of future weapon. Was a unique individual. As his force alignment changed based on his personalities. Generally even in his rational state. Helios was a dark side force user. Though in certain instances Helios could transition his state of beign, to accomplish a neutral alignment, or like in the rare instance when the force aided him to heal Kalyn. He could even float to a light side allignment. His mind was already broken so the transitions didn't affect him as much as it may others who had doubts or contemplations about sticking to a specific side.

Helios finally opened his eyes as the air cooled down. He offered Kalyn a small smile. To show her things were better now. That she shouldnt expect another incident of similar or harsher nature tonight. Helios thought about the force bond they would sometime try to forge. He knew he had some things about his past. He rather tell Kalyn, then let the bond reveal to her. He didn't need his scars to become her own. Though this dinner was neither the time for that conversation.

Helios had calmed down enough. He almost jumped a little when a waiter finally arrived. With a displeased look that suggested the man knew. Helios studied the individual and swore he detected a faint force signature around the man. He wouldn't be suprised if the waiter wasn't slightly force sensitive. Helios resisted a wince as if the man had felt Helios' use of the force. He couldn't blame the man for feeling unsettled about serving the un-expected couple. Helios looked to Kalyn to order first and try to calm tensions. Seeing she was the pascifist of the table.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn flicked through the menu her eyes scanning the listed foods as she noticed Helios close his eyes and begin to try and calm himself. She looked back up when she saw Helios had reopened them, receiving a smile from him. She returned the smile as she placed her menu back on the tabletop. She studied him as she was beginning to learn more and more to tell by his body language and aura what state of mind he was in, so to speak. When the pair had first met she found him unpredictable, possibly because he was in his more manic state, but even afterwards she still could've considered him unpredictable.

Being around him, although not an extensive amount of time, still allowed for her to get used to him and his limits altogether. She could somewhat sense when he began to get uptight, stressed or agitated, as it showed in his body language and expression. Not to say she didn't fear a 'snap' from him, but it made her more comfortable and safe knowing how to read him.

She saw [member="Helios Venth"] jump slightly, turning her attention to the waiter that was now beside them. The waiter and Helios shared a look before Kalyn cleared her throat, gaining the waiters attention. "Um..I'll get the.." She picked the menu back up, pointing to what she wanted to order, not knowing how to pronounce the dish, and saving her a handful of embarrassment if she said it wrong. It was a salad, she could tell that much from the picture beside it. The waiter nodded and wrote it down, before looking towards Helios.

Helios smiled some as Kalyn intervened. "Bantha steak soup please." Helios requested in a polite manner. As the waiter nodded. "It will be just a bit." The man said and paused. Lowering his voice some. "In the future please make a reservation, instead of bullying the staff." The waiter pitched in. Before he turned and headed off to place their orders in. As, Helios frowned some and looked to Kalyn. "Yeah, I know he has a point." Helios muttered in case she felt like pitching in her own thoughts of the matter. He truly did mean well when he did it, at least in his own views.

Helios hummed as they waited. Eventually the food did come and Helios eyed it curiously and cautiously. Before finally eating his soup. As he looked to Kalyn and hoped she enjoyed her meal. Helios kept quiet for the time being. As he simply wanted to enjoy the meal. Merely content that he had an amazing individual in his life to share it with. As he reached out and softly poked her. Smiling a little in a playful manner. As his mood was shifting to a bubbly one.

Helios stood up and stretched after he finished eating. As well as when he was sure Kalyn had finished. As he walked around and offered to help her up. Ready to leave the place. As he smiled a little. He was tired though at the same time playful. As he looked about and observed his environment with a curious expression. Doing his best to take as much in. So if he was ever here again he would know things about it.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn slightly shrunk back into her chair when the waiter had told them to make a reservation in the future, feeling as though it were her fault they were here in the first place as she'd requested to go somewhere 'fancy'. She nodded at the waiter, "Of course." She replied with a small smile. She then looked to Helios as he spoke, his tone sounding as if he were dismissing her from sharing her point of view knowing what she would say. She smiled at him and shook her head, "Don't worry, It's my fault we're hear. I said I wanted to go somewhere fancy." She explained.

Food finally arrived and Kalyn had enjoyed her meal, not feeling this satisfied with her food in a fair while. She looked up as she felt [member="Helios Venth"] poke her, she laughed lightly as for a second he looked like a playful child, his entire aura suddenly turning cheery and playful.

Once she finished she took Helios' offered help and the duo left the restaurant. Kalyn yawned as they walked down the street back to the apartment. "Thanks for tonight, I know it was hard finding somewhere to eat." She said, sincerely thankful for Helios' effort just to get her to a place she wanted to eat at

"It wasn't too horroble of a task. You deserved a nice meal, and I am just blatantly adamant about ensuring you had one." Helios spoke as he proceeded to gently rub her back. "Besides, My actions were completed upon my own terms. So, do not bear the weight of any guilt." Helios leaned in and planted a kiss on her cheek. "You would of intervened had I let you know what I was about to do." he said in an undoubtfully confident manner. As in his mind it was beyond Kalyn to want to intentionally inflict harm upon someone.

Helios continued the back rubs. Before taking her hand. As Helios and Kalyn walked the rest of the way back to his apartment. When Helios opened his door. He gently proceed to make an effort in picking Kalyn up. His actions swift and smooth. As he was hoping to get the element of surprise. Having wanted to pick her up. So that way he could both have a little fun, as well as ensure Kalyn heeded his instructions and rested on the bed this evening. After all Helios had his own beliefs about hosting a guest. It was his home.

She smirked slightly as he seemed to read through her and know exactly how she would've reacted to any sort of situation where the well being of any innocent was concerned. She also appreciated the fact that Helios had gone out of ur way to make sure she was satisfied and happy over dinner. She looked up at him and smiled.

As they walked into the apartment Kalyn stretched before she was swept off her feet suddenly. A short yelp of surprise escaping her lips as her arms instantly went around [member="Helios Venth"] neck out of instinct. Her heartbeat slowed down from the sudden action. Not that she was scared, just startled. She looked back to Helios, laughing lightly before her eyes flickered down to his lips. After a moment, without thinking she leant in a little closer and placed her lips on his own, kissing him softly. That same exploding feeling appearing again.

After a moment or two she pulled away, looking down shyly.
