Sanity Seems Counter-Productive

Helios nodded some. Before picking Kalyn up and placing her in a seated position on the ground. "You can just rest. You probably need it." Helios admitted. As he looked about and paced. Trying to think of how to climb up to the crystals. Either that or perhaps an alternate method of getting them. Helios looked about, notint laced he could get a holding upon. As he looked all around the chamber.

Finally Helios force dashed and kicked off a rock. Then bounced off a wall. Before grabbing a hold of some crystal formations. Which heated up to his touch. He took a moment before jumping away from that wall. Then getting a grip on the neareat point he could be to the crystals that called to him. Helios smiled a little and studied them. Now... How exactly to remove them?

Helios reached out with the force to them. As they reached back to him. Helios thought about Kalyn's words. How they were both powerful though fragile. Helios when he got the right grip. Removed one hand and focused. Closing his eyes as he made a slashing motion. Using his hand to strike the crystals and break them off. The action leaving a slice in his hand. Though before they fell and shattered. Helios reached out and catched them. Before flipping back and landing on his feet.

Helios pocketed his crystals. Then proceeded to wrap up his hand. As he looked to Kalyn and nodded his head a little. "I have them." Helios announced to her. Walking over and tilting his head some. "Now to get the other parts?" Helios asked curiously. Not sure entirely where to find the other materials they would need. He assumed a jedi academy would have the materials. Though, Helios wasn't welcome amoung any of those... Unless Kalyn had a plan that could get him in. If even just for a little bit.

She watched him retrieve the crystals and the determination in his eyes. She smiled when he flipped back and landed back on the ground, placing the crystals safely away in his pocket. She stood back up and smiled more seeing the sense of achievement on him, her smile vanished when she saw his hand, "Are you okay?" She asked looking at his hand and back up at him.

She listened as he spoke of retrieving the other parts of the lightsaber. She hummed in thought, "Well, we're going to need a blade emitter, activation button, power cell and the hilt itself." She explained, "All of those I know would be at a Jedi Academy, tons of them. And I'm pretty sure I'd be able to get us in with no further issues." She thought to herself, not believing there would be a big issue. They wouldn't be there too long, simply grabbing the few parts they needed and heading out, causing no commotion whatsoever.

"In fact there's a Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, here." She explained remembering something the Masters had told her during her training. "They'll be training the younglings in the way of the Force but this Enclave on Danotooine only takes in the children that display great potential with the Force, as most are sent to the Jedi Academy on Coruscant. So there will be less kids and Masters around the place."

Helios nodded his head in reply to her question. Listening quietly to the parts they would need. Not to forget he would need two of everything. Then would need to figure out how to create the interlocking mechanism. Then finally he would need to take the time to figure out how to place the crystals and their additional enhancement crystal. The dantari color crystals were known to convert energy from saber combat, to restore energy Helios could use for force techniques. While the solaris crystal would amplify the heat of the blade. Making it so he could surgically cut through most objects, in rather short time.

Helios nodded his head at Kalyn. "Okay... You think they would let Seth in?" Helios asked. As he had been subconsciously twmpering with the hounds mind. As well as the queen. Helios should he ever return to Dantooine would at least have a back up plan. Should he find himself in trouble. That and Seth was now a companion of his. He would have an interesting time explaining to the regulation officer how he came about having a Kanth Hound for a pet now. Maybe the officer had a weak mind he could also mind trick? He would cross that bridge when he had to.

Helios finally was relieved. When he walked out into the sunlight. Well, whatever cracked through the clouds. Helios looked to [member="Kalyn Tyree"]. "Alright. Which way to the enclave?" Helios asked curiously. While Seth trudged up and sat beside him. Apparently much tamer then he was upon their first encounter. Helios hummed softly and looked about. Curious to how the planet would continue to change.

Kalyn looked towards Seth thinking it over. "I don't think he's going to be able to come, we want to attract as little attention as possible, and I don't think bringing in a Kanth hound into a Jedi Enclave with younglings is the best way to go." She said in reply to his question. Once they got into the Enclave all would go well after that, they would grab the pieces they need and be on their way, she feared having the new pet accompany them may raise some awareness to anyone nearby.

Once the reached he exit [member="Helios Venth"] asked whereabouts they would need to head. "Give me a minute." She said heading a little bit further out and trying to find some sort of ledge she could climb up to get her bearings of the world. She found one and climbed up, standing up and looking around, seeing the small villages and grasslands and wild creatures. She continued looking, finally, seeing only the tip of the top of the Jedi Enclave. "There it is." She mumbled to herself.

The Enclave wasn't close to where the duo were at the moment, they preferred to train the younglings in a somewhat isolated area so that there wasn't much distraction for the children. She jumped down, landing in a crouched position before rising to her feet and heading back to Helios. "The Enclave is over in that direction," She said, pointing to the distant location, "About north-east from here, it's not very close either."

Helios sat beside the Kanth hound. Watching as [member="Kalyn Tyree"] proceeded to advance to a vantage point. Helios looked to Seth, poked the hound's ear. Then watched as it shook it's head. To shrug him off of it. Helios smirked a little and then looked back to Kalyn. Watching as she climbed up a cliff. Which caused Helios to stand up and stretch. "Alrighty... Perhaps even she isn't sure where we are headed." Helios decided. Petting the pet he acquired. Then going towards Kalyn.

When she and him finally met up. She explained they had a ways to travel. Helios nodded his head and shrugged a little. "It doesn't bother me much. Though perhaps we should rest here.. Then make the journey the following morning. That way if anything attacks us tonight. We have both a Kanth hound, and an army of Kinrath to re-enforce us. Making it so threats reconsider, die horribly, or heroicly defeat two force users, a large hound, and hundreds of large insects " Helios pointed out to Kalyn and smiled a little. Just thinking about the options.

Helios was wanting his lightsabers. Though he wasn't in a hurry. That just meant more time with Kalyn. In fact Helios thought about it. Then walked over and gently pulled her close to him. "Oh... And we are over due for another of these." Helios spoke softly and teasingly. Before he leaned down and lovingly pressed his lips upon her's. Deciding after all the help she was, and the events that unfolded. Helios both desired, and was inclined to lend Kalyn a long moment of passion and admiration.

Kalyn nodded as Helios suggested resting there for the time being, until the next morning. "Good idea." She agreed, laughing at the end when he listed the options any possible threats would have. "Hopefully they make the smart choice." She laughed lightly. She looked around at where they stood, nodding a little as they could make camp here, it was only one night anyway. Despite the breeze picking up a little, turning the atmosphere around them a little chilly, they'd be able to make do with the temporary camping ground.

She was about to turn around but before she could [member="Helios Venth"] gently pulled her to him. Smiling and laughing as she knew exactly what he was referring to when he spoke. Soon enough his own lips were on hers. Her hands slid up and around his neck as she melted into the kiss. His body heat warming her up instantly from the closeness between the couple. Or perhaps she herself was heating up over the kiss. Either way she wasn't cold anymore.

Despite then only sharing three kisses like this one, each one felt the same yet different every time it happened. She'd never get used to the feeling no matter how many times the two of them showed their affection for the other. Her lips moved with his own in perfect sync, cherishing every second of it.

Helios placed his own arms around her waist. This time daring to gently lift Kalyn off the ground. To ensure that the height difference was able to be balanced out. Helios enjoyed the warming kiss. Letting his mind wonder off lost into the closeness and love they held between each other. Helios let the kiss linger, deepening it gradually as it took course. Though before going too far, reluctantly pulling away and tugging at her lip softly. "Never will get old." Helios decided and tapped her nose. After having carefully returned her to the ground.

Helios then looked about the area. Before he began to dig a shallow but lengthy pit. As Helios began to collect rocks. An idea forming in his mind as he wanted to keep his partner warm and safe. Helios laid out the rocks in a close formation. Before heating them up with fire to the point they were white hot. From there Helios used the force to layer ground over the rocks. Till there was a nice padding of ground between the rocks. Enough that the heat would be perserved. As well as it wouldn't burn either of them.

Helios then called Seth over and patted a spot at the end of the bed he sort of crafted. Then to demonstrate his plan. Helios laid down and placed his head back against the abdomen of the Kanth hound. As the body was much softer pillow then the ground. Helios then motioned for Kalyn to join him. So, he could keep her close and keep her warm. He was used to survival skills from his time travelling.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

She felt her feet slowly depart from the ground as Helios lifted her up slightly. Each kiss seemed more passionate and full of love than the last one, comparing it to their first kiss, sweet and gentle. Unfortunately she felt Helios start to pull away, as did she. She laughed shortly and lightly, "Never." She replied, smiling, knowing that it was true, it never would get old and she'd never get tired of it. She smiled even more when he tapped her nose, it'd become a habit of his recently she found, but she loved it every time.

He turned and looked around the area, Kalyn studying him wondering what was going through his mind. Instantly he began digging a pit, shortly before starting to collect many rocks, placing them within the pit. She looked at him with one eyebrow quirking upwards, utterly confused as to what he was planning on doing. It wasn't until after he heated the rocks and covered them with the Earth around him that she realised it was a makeshift bed, Seth acting as a temporary pillow.

"Woah." She mumbled, mostly to herself. She tipped her head to him, giving a short clap, quite impressed with his resourcefulness. "That, my dear." She started before laying beside [member="Helios Venth"] , a little hesitant when laying her head on Seth but nevertheless did so, "was very impressive." She finsihed her sentence. Giving him a quick kiss on his cheek.

He hummed softly. Content at Kalyn's affection. He noticed her hesitation and furrowed his brows some. Then decided she was uneasy about the thought of him having Seth. Especially the thought of laying against him. Seth remained fairly well behaved. Golden considered he was recently tamed. Helios watched as a few Kinrath occasionally came out. As if though patrolling the area. Helios could occasionally sense one of them contemplating if Helios was still food.

Helios snickered and eventually drifted asleep. He slept a peaceful sleep. Mostly lighting fires for fun within his dreams. Helios was however woken early morning by the bark of Seth. Helios reached up and smacked the Kanth hound across the back of it's head. Though the hound yelped. Helios only put enough force to catch the attention of the creature, not actually hurt it.

Helios stood up and yawned softly. "A pillow... Your instructions were simple. Lay down... Relax. If I wanted an alarm clock. I would of asked for a bark at sunrise." Helios murmered to himself more then Seth. Helios wasn't a morning person. He had mentioned this before and it stood true. He slugishly got around to getting ready to travel. As he reached down to help Kalyn up onto her feet.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn groaned and rolled to the side, covering her ears with her hands trying her best to block out the hounds' barking, but to no avail. She cracked her eyes open, reluctantly letting the sunlight seep into them. Narrowing her eyes at Seth but sighing realising they had to wake up sooner or later. She still would've appreciated a little more sleep, nevertheless it just meant the sooner they started their walk to the Enclave and the sooner they retrieved the parts for [member="Helios Venth"] lightsaber.

She rolled back onto her back noticing Helios reaching down to help her up. She smiled at him, taking his hands and being pulled to her feet. She yawned before brushing her fingers through her hair and dusting her clothes off. In an attempt to make herself look at least half decent, she was after all about to waltz into a Jedi Enclave, she needed to try and look like she belonged there. Though to a certain extent she was welcome at the Enclave.

She looked around and saw Helios as well as Seth ready to go. "We ready?" She asked, returning to her rather cheery mood now that she had fully woken up and was no longer mad Seth had abruptly ruined her sleep.

Helios nodded his head in reply to her question. Helios began to walk the direction Kalyn indicated. Though soon after stopped and waited for Kalyn to take lead. Going the right way and going in the general direction were two different things after all. Helios then proceeded to follow her. With his pet Kanth hound tagging along beside him. They joys of re-writing the programs of the mind. Helios found it both a useful and addictive art. Helios would need to be wary of using it.

Helios looked around the landscape. Taking in the ruins, and the plains. Wondering what the planet would of been like at various points after the wars. Deciding he was lucky to have not seen such things. Helios looked to Kalyn and studied her. He found it interesting how she tried to look presentable. Even despite the circumstances of the previous evening. Helios wondered if he should try to do likewise. His partner was the one affiliated with the order though, and was the one with the fully constructed lightsaber.

Helios took in the silence of the moment. It was a nice change to the sound of combat. Not quite as enjoyable as the sound of things burning though. Helios looked to Kalyn and then looked ahead. The journey taking it's slow time. Helios was in no rush though. If that was the case he would of been sprintinflg to his destination and not walking. Plus, though it was his weapon they were looking to craft. Helios trusted Kalyn to take lead in this part.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn followed [member="Helios Venth"] for some of the way before he slowed his pace down, letting Kalyn take the lead as she knew where to go. She smiled and continued walking. Not only did she know the whereabouts of the Jedi Enclave but the Force helped guide in the most correct direction, that way there was no possibility of the duo ending up lost or confused. She continued to walk down the dirt path knowing they had a ways to go but tried her best not to think about the distance, rather how things would go once she managed to get into the Jedi Enclave and retrieve the parts for Helios' lightsaber.

Kalyn looked to her left as she heard the sounds of children playing in the fields, close to a village. They looked so happy and carefree, not a single worry or problem in the universe. A couple watched over them with smiles on their faces, assuming they were the parents. She narrowed her eyes at them slightly as memories of her own parents came back to her. She still didn't understand why they did what they did all those years ago. And she didn't expect to learn why anytime soon. She diverted her attention away from the family, preferring to not resurface any old memories.

At the Jedi Order, when being trained, she was told not to hate, as hate lead to suffering and was the path to the Dark side. Which was why she was always conflicted on how to feel about her parents. She didn't want to hate them, no child wanted to hate their parents, the ones that are supposed to love and take care of you. But she didn't want to forgive them either.

After a while the Jedi Enclave finally came in sight. "There." Kalyn said, mostly to herself in relief that they'd arrived. She noticed a few of the kids practising their form outside. She turned to Helios and the Kanth hound. "Seth will have to wait out here, preferably out of sight," She looked to Seth, "Sorry bud." She turned back to the entrance to the Jedi Enclave, seeing the big wide entrance into it. "We can go in, don't act suspicious. Pretend we're meant to be here. We get in, grab the supplies we need, and get out." She finished.

Helios marveled some at the children playing and the parents watching. Helios could probe their mind... No. It was not his place to do such a thing. By the way the parents interacted the children were well cared for, and Helios sensed no hostility within them. Helios was more tolerant towards families that functioned as they should. Not wanting to categorize situations all into one group.

Helios briefly turned to Kalyn. Curious to what was running through her mind. She appeared to be momentarily deep into thought. Helios reached out and softly placed a hand on her shoulder. Then returned to looking around the area. Helios simply chose to enioy the journey from there on out. Counting distances wasn't something worth doing in an era where you could cross a galaxy.

Helios eventually removed his hand. Blinking as he looked upon the building ahead of him. "Okay... head off for a bit. I will call for you shortly Seth." Helios instructed as he watched the Kanth hound lay on the ground. "Or lay..." Helios considered and shrugged his shoulders. Seth was a ways from the enclave, and didn't appear too Hostile. Helios didn't see any harm in letting him relax where he was.

Helios nodded as Kalyn told him to act like he belonged. Which didn't bother him. If Kalyn was convinced they were safe to enter. Helios trusted that they were safe to enter. That is why they were here. Was to get in and grab supplies. There wasn't anything suspicious about that. Neither was there anything harmful about that. Helios looked to Kalyn and motioned for her to enter first. Seeming he assumed she more naturally belonged. He would follow her lead as if escorting her as a partner. Which was as honest of an entrance as there was.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

"He's alright there, that's fine. Out of sight out of mind." She said, referring to Seth. She looked to [member="Helios Venth"] before nodding, standing up straight and calmly walking into the entrance to the Jedi Enclave, smiling softly to one of the kids that turned to her while they were practising. Once she got in she started to look down the various hallways, deciding which one would lead them to the lightsaber creation room. She held her hand out trying to get a sense of what was down each hallway.

She hummed in though... nope, those were personal quarters...She continued scanning the Enclave, feeling as though she was getting closer. She panned her hand down to another hallway...and that would be the library. She was sure the lightsaber creation district would be in one of the next two hallways. She then heard a little bit of ruckus coming from the children down one hallway. She furrowed her eyebrows more, trying to concentrate.

"Did you guys see me! I almost had my lightsaber...I just forgot to put the crystal in." She heard a young boy say, followed by his friends playful laughter. Her eyes snapped open as her head turned back to look down the hallway, seeing the boys walk past and around the corner. She looked to Helios and smiled, nodding her head in that direction.

She began walking down and started looking more thoroughly when she reached the end of the hallway. Looking for any sort of room nearby, knowing it had to be close. She continued walking till she was an archway, she ran up to it and looked in, seeing many tables and chairs place around the walls of the room, with some spare lightsaber parts spread across the tables for the children to return to.

"Alright, this is it." She said, walking up to where the many pieces of the lightsaber were. "Remember, blade emitter, activation button, power cell and hilt, two of each, as well as something for the interlocking mechanism." She said as she began looking for something for the interlocking part of his weapon.

He looked to her and tilted his head a little. Following behind as his attention span occasionally darted from side to side. Whenever a new distraction presented itself. Most of the distractions consisted of children. Some of the distractions consisted of the general area. It was all new to Helios. Which meant that Helios was struggling to keep focused on the task.

Helios looked to Kalyn as she worked on finding the lightsaber construction room. It seemed like a task in itself. Up to the point yet another group of kids pointed out the direction. Through indirect means of course. Helios followed Kalyn into the room and looked around. Yay! Parts to make a highly destructive instrument! Helios felt bubbly inside, and yet he remained controlled.

Helios looked to Kalyn and nodded. Kneeling down and closing his eyes. "I have this." Helios spoke as he reached out. Durasteel components for hilt and interlocking mechanism. It tool a moment to find the right amount in the right styles for two blades. Helios then took two blade emmiters. From there grabbing two activation switches. Finally, and with a few moments longer. Helios eventually found some power cells. Gathering the items together. He walked to Kalyn. "I am done..." Helios informed her quietly.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn looked down to see all the parts needed for his weapon within is hands. She smiled, seeing that he'd found every part needed and wasn't missing anything. "Here, let me take something." She said, offering some help before she took half the items into her own hands. "Ok, let's go." She looked around checking there wasn't a big crowd around.

She nodded towards [member="Helios Venth"] and walked out, making her way to the exit. Once they made their way out she headed back towards where Seth had laid down.

"Once we get back to somewhere safe, you can start constructing your lightsaber." She explained, happy that Helios was so close to crafting his own lightsaber. She loved watching the creation of lightsabers. Before she managed to craft her own she'd watch others construct their lightsabers, never getting bored of it and utterly fascinated how all the pieces fit together so perfectly yet differently to everyone else's. As every saber was different to every user.

Helios nodded as she said find somewhere safe. Helios only for a moment calculated the odda of killing or enslaving everyone in the jedi enclave. Then decided he wasn't that skilled... Not yet at the very least. Oh, and Kalyn wouldn't be overly pleased by that course. Though controlling this building would make for a rather safe area. Helios could dream in the very least.

Helios followed Kalyn through the enclave to the exit. Then he took over to lead them back to the ship. Helios motioned for Seth to follow. When they were close enough for them to do so. Helios stayed near Kalyn. Though remained quiet for the part. Too absorbed in the thoughts of what he wanted for his lightsabers. As well as how to construct and place the interlocking mechanism. Not wanting to add too much weight to the backs and create an imbalance. He would find a way. He would trust the force to guide him.

Helios smiled as it took them two un-eventful days to find their way back to the ship. As, soon as which. Helios placed a small kiss on Kalyn's cheek. Then gathered all the parts and the crystals he had together. "This will be awhile." Helios spoke to her softly. He was sure it would be slow. Though he would be vigelent for the sake of his reward. Helios knelt and closed his eyes. Placing his hands on his thighs and clearing his mind.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

Kalyn watched as Helios took to a kneeling position within the ship and laid the pieces across, in front of him. From here on it was up to him, she could offer as much guidance as the Jedi were kind enough to do so. But she could not physically help him construct it. This was a mission for the user alone.

She didn't want to linger around him or put any pressure on him. The last thing she needed to do was make him nervous at a time when complete focus was necessary. "Just remember, the Force will help you to construct it throughout the making of your weapon, but only you can physically construct it, the Force is there to aid you in your task." She said before walked out of the room, deciding to leave [member="Helios Venth"] in as much quiet as possible.

She sat in the pilots chair yawning after all their troubles and feats in retrieving the parts needed, mostly the Dantari crystals. It was quite simple in getting the other pieces for the weapon. She wondered how much knowledge Helios actually had in lightsaber fighting. She knew he had some idea as she saw him demonstrate bits of Form III when he captured her. All she could do now was wait and be of any assistance as long as he wanted it.

Helios hummed softly tl quietly acknowledge [member="Kalyn Tyree"] and her words. Helios had a plan to learn lightsaber combat down the line. Right now he had only the basics of a few forms, and his martial arts training. Yes, his use of such a complicated instrument would be challenging. Though it would be one Helios was willing to learn. Helios meditated for hours, upon hours. Until finally reaching out.

First Helios identified each of the pieces. Before setting them back down. From there Helios focused more and began to form the picture in his mind. Of the weapons which he wanted to craft. Both would be identical in appearance and components. For that was needed to make the locking mechanism to properly function. So, Helios could smoothly attach and dettach the two weapons from one another. Plus it would provide better handling and balance.

Helios finally after what seemed like forever. Began to work on crafting the two lightsabers. Quietly placing the pieces. Careful to not invert the emitter and cause a backfire. When he had part of the hilt constructed and some of the inner workings in place. Helios delicately set the crystals into place. Then set the focusing lenses as well as the other pieces he had come to acquire. Before finally working on finishing the hilt.

Helios incorporated the locking mechanism semi-internally. To help balance out the hilt better. Leaving only enough of it out, so it could properly function. When the hilts finally locked together. Helios opened his eyes and looked curiously upon his designs. It was a simple design for the most part. The pattern being the uniquest feature. As the hilt had been designed to hold a jade green weaving pattern, with cobalt blue imprints. Other wise the rim and design were pretty basic.

Helios hit the activation switch on both blades. Re-adjusting his grip as the two green lightsabers blazed to life. Causing Helios to give them a simple and cautiously executed spin. Before, Helios placed the two hilts together and made a few simple motions. Hearing a click as the locking mechanism conformed the blades into a single entity. Which now functioned like a saber staff. Helios once more transitioned his grip. So, he could spin the weapon around. Careful he didn't cut anything. Helios then once more separated the blades. Then de-activated them.

From there Helios headed to Kalyn. Unsure how long the proccess had took him. As, he was sure it had been awhile. It took time to get two weapons crafted together. From here Helios would need to return to Commenor. Then the two could enjoy some small down time, before their duties caught up to them.

Kalyn tried to find things to do to occupy herself with while [member="Helios Venth"] constructed his lightsaber, but was failing to do so. She rested her chin on her palm as she propped it on the control panel, watching the scenery outside and the occasional tourists walking by.

She sighed as the time passed her, rather slowly. She knew the construction of a lightsaber wasn't a short process. And the fact Helios was making a rather complicated weapon didn't make the process any quicker. Out of boredom she began spinning on the pilot chair, pushing herself off from the control panel and making herself dizzy just for the fun of it.

Once bored of that activity she opted for some meditation, she found a comfortable spot and knelt on the ground, closing her eyes and centering her mind, in hopes of passing the time a little quicker. When her meditation was over and she felt she'd been out long enough she opened her eyes, only to realise Helios was still in the other room, constructing his lightsaber.

She groaned, not because she was mad at Helios, honestly she rather him take as long as he needs if it means he'll construct his lightsaber correctly, rather than it implode on him during battle. She was simply bored and was running out of things to do. She moped back to the pilot chair and sat down, leaning back into the chair. Her eyes started to get heavy as she pulled her legs up to her chest and started feeling herself fall asleep in the chair.
