BIOGRAPHY
Ruus was born an orphan in the streets of the Mandalorian capital. Knowing no parents or clan he was adrift, until he was adopted by a Guardsman. It was from his adopted father that he learned the importance of the law, and while there was little glory to be had as part of the Mandalorian Guard there was no greater duty than to those of the Mandalorians that could not protect themselves. At the age of 13 the young Ruus joined a cadet program for the Guard. Earning average scores across most fields of practice his talent seemed to lay within his unwavering loyalty to cause of the Guard. His confidence in their mission and the ideal guard was without question. His singular drive to deliver justice and protect his people earned him favor with the veterans who offered him up for promotion. Ruus narrowly missed the historic record for the youngest Guard Sergeant in capital history. At the age of 20, Ruus, had been promoted to Captain.
With the Mandalorian Empire experiencing widespread condemnation from the rest of the galaxy, Captain Ruus, found him and his squad under the gun of true armies that he was not equipped to resist. Experiencing heavy losses over several theatres and planets the Mandalorian Guard was finally dissolved after the conquest of Mandalore by their once ally - The Sith Empire. Escaping the carnage with what remained of his loyalist Guard he looked for purpose in the Republic in the Sector Rangers. Serving with steadfast loyalty to the Republic and eventually the merger into the Galactic Alliance, Ruus, put in for transfer to the Senate Guard. A roll he felt would give him less warfare and more protection duty as that is what he found purpose in.
