Unfortunately, I believe the Galactic Republic has laid claim to Wraith Squadron.

Or better yet, Just keep it up as GA's Rogue Squadron, could always promote rivalry between the two groups.

I'm not sure why we'd be rivals, honestly. What is the Galactic Alliance, anyway?

I'd suggest you team up with [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] to get Wraith Squadron back on its feet. I think there are only two Wraiths active anymore. It's really hard to accrue PC starfighter pilots on this site, so it's best to build on an existing foundation if you already have one.

I think a bit of a friendly rivalry could be fun. Nothing says we still can't work together towards the same goal when times call. Just my two cents.

I may (more than likely) be interested. It's been a while since I've written this character at the single-squadron-only level, given his recent positions (across a couple different boards) have been that of...

• Head of TGR/NR's Starfighter Corps, under High General Tal Kote [Rank of Commander @ SWRPG]
• CAG aboard the Challenger under the command of Admiral Vansen Tyree [Rank of Major @ SWFans/TheHoloNet]
• 2IC to Admiral Vansen Tyree aboard the Challenger [Rank of General @SWFans/TheHoloNet]

...so, I might do squadron level, or I might do something higher up. Who knows. But I'm looking at being Rogue Leader, here, if I stick to this level.

Just to throw my two cents in here as someone who did try supporting Wraith Squadron before it fell apart, mostly because it lost leadership and no one would fill it ooc, but since there are likely a few who might be interested if you reach them I'd suggest doing so for the extra members. Tugoro might join you if you contact him, not sure if anyone else still active with the old Wraiths would be up for more.

I would also suggest changing the name. The Rebel Alliance has held onto the Rogue Squadron name for over 6 months going now, I feel it would be respectful to them to not use the same name. Not only that, but since Wraith Squadron is up for takes because of its last incarnation's inactivity, its plenty free. It would also help with your rivalry over whose better, Rogues or Wraiths. . . .and not whose just the more active rogues.

All in all, great idea, looks awesome people are excited for it. Would stress recommending a name change to Wraith or Gray Squadron.

Not really a pilot with this character, but if you ever wanna run escorting a medical frigate I'll help out if you ever need.

Edit: I saw you mentioned skype and want to actually congratulate that. Whoever you get in this squadron you should work everyone into a group and keep together. Helps keep active!

Well that's down to you, but I don't think its the name specifically that matters for attention.

Another helpful hint is using the NPC section perhaps for the slots you don't fill, and have each person you do get aid in creating the rest of the squadron and give them life.

I was about to go and make a padawan for the GR, if he was someone with flight experience would he be able to join the squadron as well? Or is that not permitted.
