Rinn Tin-Tin (PM for invite)

It seemed he had gained the trust of [member="Lady Kay"], which was very good. Now he just had to use it. And he might now a way. From the Place the two of them stood now, it could seem like the slavers were losing. But it seemed the News she recieved as answer to her question from one of her allies wasn't the best. What he was thinking now was a hit or miss plan. If it worked, it could give a huge edge to his allies, but if it didn't work he could potentially be seen through as an infiltrator. Everything depended on his choosing of Words. But he decided to speak to her fast, before she did anything.

"Statement: Master, it is not safe here. My sensors are picking up more enemies coming. I have to get you to safety. ...ation: It could be a good idea to get to those we protect and get them to a more safe location."

He was not sure if she would buy it or not. It hadn't been the best formulation of Words, but he had to act fast. Hopefully, she would believe the lie about his sensors picking up multiple enemies. And that she wasn't the type to jump into combat when illogical. He decided to add a small part to the end of his statement, so it didn't seem like he wanted to get to the rodents. "Clarification: But it is off course Your Choice, master. I just want this mission to suceed."

Lao dropped the three fingered man he had been force choking and produced his lightsaber again. The three fingered one fell to the ground coughing. Lao it ignited and growled as it came alive. He took the man's head at the neck with his lightsaber without hesitation. Lao then deactivated his lightsaber and put it on his belt as he walked around to his speeder bag and started rifling through it.

A few moments later he produced it, a locator for beacons that one could attach to stuff such as droids. He turned it out. It took a moment to come on. Meanwhile looked around at the chaos that broke out in the village. Lao could see that there were two forces fighting. Seemed to slavers and non slavers. He did not know what the fight was over so did not want to get involved, just yet at least. He was here for her, Shiva. He needed to find her, again. After she was stolen from him.

And then the locator beeped. He found her. She was near. Lao started running to the far side of the village.

Ten to fifteen targets. Some had already been taken out, some of them even were killed. So with ten to fifteen targets left, then that had meant that a good number of mercs and slavers had come to this village. Were they expecting an ambush? Is that why their numbers were so large? Or were they planning on taking the whole populace for slaves? Either way, it wasn't good. ~Copy that, Lev.~

Kay's attention turned to [member="HK-51"] as he spoke. The fact that he called her Master raised a brow, but perhaps the misstep was due to the dangerous situation that they were in. "I want it to succeed too. And if you're sensors are picking up more enemies...should we go inside? Where do your readings say that it's safe? I'll let the others know and they can make their way there if they can. But there's no guarantees."

She had to get there first, of course. Just because a position was safe for one minute, it didn't mean that the position would still be safe for the next.

Kay's eyes roamed the landscape. Blasterfire and smoke was getting everywhere. Soon they'll all be hidden in a fog of it. She wondered how the rest of her team were doing.

Ronak decided to keep to a hit and run strategy against the slavers who were more exposed than he was in this forest which was his natural element. From his location behind the treeline he could not actually see how [member="Orex Mauda"] and [member="Darth Harbinger"] were faring against their foe. Without comm messages he had little idea what the others were doing except for trying to stay alive. [member="Lev Orlova"] mostly stayed quiet as he seemed to follow a similar strategy as the wolfman hit and run, stay undetected in the meantime. 10 to 15 left as Lev had reported was still largely tipping the scales towards their enemies. He had not heard anything from @Lady Kai and [member="Harli Hayes"] in a while, until a short command for Lev came and relieved him a worrying about their leader at least. About the droid he could not care less; these metal constructs without living scent or feeling felt uncanny to him.

The sounds of explosions and blasterfire, were the only indication for the struggle the slavers put up for him and his allies. The downside of this was not only the decreased possibility to see in the locations were the fire was concentrated, but also that the smoke tempered with his sense of smell keeping him effectively from sniffing out people's presence in smoke filled areas. To gain a better view, he finally decided to climb an old tree which would provide him with an elevated location and the chance to spot people below at the same time, while from the perspective of the ground level they were hidden in the underbrush.

From above the flash of lightsabers became visible in the smoke continously covering the village. The shapes of the thugs were scattered around various parts, far from a closed formation as they had been at the beginning of the fights. At the edge of the smoke filled village his eyes could make out [member="Lao Tzu"] heading purposefully in a specific direction looking at a device in his hands. Whatever he could detect, hopefully would help them.

Partially hidden by surrounding branches, the wolfman unshouldered the looted blaster rifle and took aim at the thugs in the village who could pose a threat to Orex and Harbinger in their fight. One he took out without even being noticed. As the second one collapsed under a blaster bolt, another four armed thugs turned to storm into the forest looking for the sniper. Better change his hideout now. "Orex, you should have your backs free for a while as they search for me. Can anyone help me with those fours combing the forest?", he growled into the comm while clmbing down the tree.

Lev Orlova

An irredeemable soldier haunted by his sins.
Lev displaced himself from the position he had just fired from, jogging through the thick forest. He moved about 30 meters left of his position, further away from the village, until he found a large rock that jutted up above the concealment of the bushes. It was slanted upward in a way that a person could walk up it. Taking measured, creeping steps, he slowly moved up onto the top of the rock, exposing the upper half of his body in a crouching position. His exoskeleton whirred softly as he lifted the huge magrifle and brought it to bear on the group he had just fired on. He quickly found a large thermal hotspot, two mercs helping a wounded Twi'Lek woman. He switched off the thermal vision and saw what looked to be a medical professional approaching. He centered the aiming reticle on the medic and slowly squeezed the trigger. The trademark deafening blast of his magrifle echoed from the rock he was on, and the red trace in the air left by the round moving at near light speeds gave his position away automatically, as it headed straight for the center of mass of the medic.

Well, this could complicate Things. [member="Lady Kay"] wanting to inform the others so they could take Down the fake enemies he said his scanners had picked up was not part of his plan. And if he stood to long to think up an answer, she would probably get suspicous. His options were running thin, and it was really only one thing to do now. Blow his own cover. The two of them were alone here, so he could easily overpower her, according to his calculations. The other slavers would not like him going rogue and taking the mission into his own hands. But in a way, he already had. And they were just meatbags.

As the fog of the blasterfire was beginning to thicken, he aimed his blaster rifle at her. "Statement: you will show me where you have hid the Creatures, meatbag. Threat: if you resist, well I'm sure Your inferior mind can understand what happens then." This was the only solution he could think of at the moment. Hopefully, her allies wouldn't find out about it. And hopefully, she would do as asked. It would be a lot harder to find what he sought without someone who knew the location. Harder, but ot imposssible.

Well that was unexpected. The surprise was written on Kay's face as [member="HK-51"] aimed his blaster rifle at her. Given that he was an artificial lifeform, she couldn't sense the betrayal before it happened.

She clenched her jaw. So he wasn't sent to watch over her, but sent to infiltrate. And stupidly she fell for it. Given that HK was at point blank range, running would be pointless. Any move to attack him would be met with calculated speed. "Inside it is then..." Did she know exactly where the Tin-Tin were hiding? Not exactly. It was a maze of tunnels and passages down there. Kay only knew a part of the way.

She pointed towards one of the huts that wasn't a decoy before turning to walk that way. Layers of smoke and fog at times obscured her view, yet she pressed on, her mind searching for ways to get her out of this mess.

Kay switched on her radio so that the rest of her team could hear what was going on. "Who do you work for? How many credits are they giving you for this? My team has the upper hand. Your chances of getting out with all of the Tin-Tin are very small."

With 4 enemies searching for him and no idea, if and when help from any of his allies would arrive, Ronak decided to get deeper into the forest. His eyes scanned the environment for any hiding spot and he got lucky finding a burrow possibly housing some local wildlife. The scent told of the dwellers presence hiding in it - the same kind of beasts as the one he had killed out of mercy earlier this day. Reaching out to them with the force he appeased the local beasts enough that they would neither attack him nor squeal loudly when he would hide in their den. "Keep silent, my friends and let me hide here", he growled in a low voice.

Fur pressed against fur, a snout against his muzzle, as he heard his persuers search the area. One briefly stopped close to the den, but was quickly discouraged by an angry grunt from one of the beasts. "Help me attack them!", he pleaded with the beasts, again reaching out to them with the force. The did not require much urging, as this went along with their instincts to defend their home.

The first of the soldiers was too surprised by the 6 beasts scurrying from the burrow to be able to defend himself against being taken off his feet and trampled. His comrades were starting to panic, as they could not find the source of their new attacks. This was Ronak's chance to taking them out one on one while the beasts took care of the distraction and even trampling a second mercenaries. Respecting [member="Lady Kay"] 's wish he tried to knock them unconscious and bind them instead of killing them outright.

"Who do you work for? How many credits are they giving you for this? My team has the upper hand. Your chances of getting out with all of the Tin-Tin are very small." Ronak could hear the voice on the comm, but it took him a moment to realize the actual meaning of what he had just heard. Who was with [member="Lady Kay"] now and betraying them all?

Ronak had kept and eye at [member="Orex Mauda"] and [member="Darth Harbinger"] in order to support them in their fight against [member="Darth Zurvan"] and keep their back free when they had engaged their dark force opponent. [member="Harli Hayes"] had knew well enough to not consider her a traitor for even a moment. [member="Lao Tzu"] had been sneaking around and not seemed to be part of the coordinated assault. [member="Lev Orlova"] was a skilled mercenary and could be the one to change sides, aside from that he was who knew where currently giving them inputs which could be right or wrong. Both could be the one. And then there was the droid @HK-51. The metal creature with no scent or signature in the force to give away its emotion - he was wary of them in general. This one was no exception.

From his perspective deep in the forest he could not see the village or who was fighting their against whom. However, the exit from the tunnels were hidden out here, one of them he knew and had used earlier and intended to use now. While [member="Lady Kay"] might know where the Tin Tinna were hiding and could thus distract her capturer and lead him in circles and wrong ways, he had a good method of detecting creatures in cave networks without sight or an overview being able to help - a sensitive nose.

[member="Priscilla Utorna"]

HK followed as [member="Lady Kay"] as she seemingly led him to his targets. Did he trust that she would lead him there without resistanceor any tricks? No. Did he wish for an excuse to shoot her? Yes. Did he intend to kill her while she was still usefull? No. He would just shoot her arm or shoulder to make it obvious he was serious. But not yet. Only when she had failed in tricking him.

It seemed she was of the talkative type. Which was alright for HK, he had nothing against talking With meatbags. "Question: Do you really thi… I would tell who I am working for? I might have been frozen for over 4000 years, but I am st... a fully functional assassin. Statement: As for the Money, I doubt you can pay better than them." His vocabulator was failing a bit, but his messege still got through.

"Explanation: Even if Your team has the upper hand, they won't be able to help you. This smoke covers us. And I am not working alone. The slavers are my allies, though few of them know it. They are keeping you occupied, while I get away With these Tin-Tins." He enjoyed braging like this. His only regret was that her questions didn't give him a chance to explain how he was planning on killing her, or anyone else. And because of the smoke messing With his sensors, and his bragging, he hadn't noticed that Kay had turned on her radio.

@Ronak

Lao did a fairly basic clearing of the warehouse he went into to. There were three mercs in there, but now there were three bodies. Lao didn't spend the time to loot them. He knew they wouldn't have much of value on them because their armor was less than desirable. He walked into the last room in the warehouse. It had been sectioned off and had various electronic equipment attached to it. He blew open the door with his shotgun because it was locked. It was there, tied to the chair when he found her. His lost Shiva.

She was an old HRD, but that was frame and chasis for the most part, and everything else was new. He put away his weapon and walked up to her slowly and took off the mask that had placed over her head. She was shaved bald but that could be fixed, they both smiled at each other as she spoke first....

"Took you long enough. I was starting to have fun with them. They thought I was a real person for a while. That through them for a loop."

"Shh, its okay. Come with me. Lets get out of here."

Lao untied her and grabbed her hand and led her out of the warehouse.

A snarl formed in Ronak's throat, as he heard the mechanical partially failing voice of the droid [member="HK-51"] . The wolfman knew why he did not put trust in metal people whose scent told nothing about their emotions or intentions, who had no real emotions at all. For the likes of him he had no mercy or compassion. He did not dare to speak on the comm, lest the treacherous droid overheard him. His statement now had at least revealed him to the rest of the group and gave them a chance to think up their own plan of action given their respective situations.

Ronak's plan was made now, he would try to find the Tin-Tins before the slavers and try to get them out or lay an ambush for their attackers to try and free [member="Kay Arenais"] . Crawling back into the tunnel system through the entrance which had been so well hidden by ferns and a tree trunk, he took in the scents of the tunnel, as he inhaled deeply. The remnants from the earlier explosion which had braced [member="Orex Mauda"] were still in the air, as well as the scents of the members of their group who had been down here trying to put up an ambush, before things had gone rather out of control. Beyond those obvious scents, when focussing more intently on his sensory perception, he could detect other scents of many individuals - fur always held a specific smell and the Shistavanen was trained to detect such scents.

The scents of their native inhibitants were latently present in all directions, but only into a single direction a large mass of them had moved recently. This was the direction he was intent to follow. His natural ability to see in the dark supported by his sense of smell for navigation, allowed him to make his way without straying from the right path through the maze of tunnels where one could easily take the wrong turn and get lost.

Kay didn't quite know where exactly the Tin-Tin were. How could she? The tunnel system was so elaborate that it made her own tunnels through Chasin City seem simplistic in nature.

"I am a Queen, you know, of an economic powerhouse in trade. I'm pretty sure that I could beat their offer." But what if the slavers had offered [member="HK-51"] more than just money? That was certainly something that she needed to know.

She clenched her jaw during part of his explanation. Something in there didn't sound right. "If you plan on running away with all those Tin-Tins on your own, where does that leave me?" Kay stopped walking and turned to face him. "Are you planning on getting rid of me as soon as you find them? You do realize that attempting to do so would be very harmful for your health, right?" Hopefully he understood what she had meant.

Or maybe he had figured that she was just a powerless human. That could be a huge mistake on his part.

"Are you planning on getting rid of me as soon as you find them? You do realize that attempting to do so would be very harmful for your health, right?" Ronak heard [member="Kay Arenais"] speak via the comm link she had left open. Things started to get dire, if she had to fear for her life by now and try to threaten the treacherous droid [member="HK-51"] . Treason was among the crimes the wolfman despised the most coming from a pack where loyalty mattered above all else for survival. He kept his ears pricked for picking up the droid's answer, if it came. Unfortunately, he had no chance of finding them in the maze which were the underground tunnels of Rinn. The Tin-Tins which were so many and had taken these tunnels for flight were still detectable for his nose, but without any clue, where the woman and the droid had entered the tunnel finding the proverbial needle in the hay stack was a comparably simple task.

As he made his ways through the tunnels, he eyes could at best make out blurry shapes in the darkness, but his ears and sense of smell started to increase in comparison to cope for the loss of sight. The ceiling which had still been quite high at the beginning of the maze became lower and lower, such that the wolfman had to turn to running on all fours instead of his hindlegs only which did not hinder him. After what felt like hours, the wolfman's ears started to pick up sounds - very soft at first, then increasing in their tone: the shuffling of small feet. Someone was coming, someone small and light - likely a Tin-Tin. But he was in a tunnel with no way of hiding from who would enter it surely in a few moments, as Ronak's eyes could already make out a soft shimmer of light in the distance.

Running toward the junction where the Tin-Tin was about to enter his tunnel the small scout had only a second to give a shrill cry, before he was grabbed by the Shistavanen who tried to keep him from shouting. "I am on your side - here to help you and protect you from the slavers", he growled softly into the shivering creature's ear. "I am with Lady Kay." At her name, the small rat-like creature pricked its ears and fixed its black beady eyes on the wolfman blinking in surprise. "Don't shout, or the slavers might find us", Ronak warned with a snarl, before letting go of the small Tin-Tin and putting him back on the floor. As soon as he had some ground under his feet again, the Tin-Tin rushed off a few metres to put some distance between himself and his assailant, before turning around and eyeing him suspiciously again.

Keeping his hands in the air, Ronak still tried to negotiate: "I really want to help you. But Kay has been captured and slavers are possibly on the way here to find and capture you. We need to help each other!" At his leading tone the Tin-Tin fixed him again with an intense stare, before giving a nod cheeping briefly and then turning around and disappearing into a tunnel quickly, but not quick enough that the wolfman could not follow.

[member="Kay Arenais"] threat had been amusing. She actually thought she could scare him. It nearly made him laugh, but not quite. But it seemed she had understood what his plan were With her. Telling would not be a good idea, so he tried to think up a lie. But then he found out a truth. "Statement: killing you would be po..ntless, You said so yourself, you're an economic powerhouse. I'm sure I could get a good price from the planet you're Queen of. Which is …" he searched his databanks to try to find out which planet it was. It didn't take long. "Commenor. I'm sure Veiere would pay good to get you back."

They had been walking for some time, and HK began to suspect he was being fooled. Given that Kay was the leader of the operation, he was sure she knew where the Tinn-Tinn's were. She might try to lead him wrong. He began talking again, With annoyance Clear in his voice. "Question: Is it far left? Or are you missleading me? I can assure you that would be a mistake."

"How much of a mistake will it be if you are just going to be holding me for ransom?" Kay approached another fork in the tunnels and stopped. Squinting her eyes, she looked down one hallway and then the other. They both looked the same!

"Uh oh...." She crouched down and studied the dirt floor. There were footprints everywhere, making it difficult to even figure out which footprints were fresh and which were old. Most of them looked small while others were large like their own. "...You're not going to want to believe this, but I think that we are lost." Or at least she was. That was the problem with tunnels. It was so easy to lose one's way, especially when one was distracted with the situation that [member="HK-51"] was putting her through. And the Tin-Tin.

Kay got to her feet. "I don't suppose that you've been keeping track of our route, have you?" Or maybe she had kept him distracted too. Either way, it was actually some form of good luck for her and her team.
