Rinn Tin-Tin (PM for invite)

Kay-Larr

RINN

Home of the Tintinna species that was most commonly known as the Tin-Tin Dwarves. Although primative, their technology wasn't mere rocks and teig based either. They had harnessed the power of steam and had proven themselves to be fine engineers. Their small size made them perfect candidates for working on a ship's crew, willingly or not.

Most of the population lived in underground burrows, however the access points were easily recognized. Domes dotted the landscape and pipes protruded from the ground to allow for ventilation and chimneys.

Kay had received some intelligence of slavers looking to steal some of the locals. It was a backwater planet, so no one would care, right?

Wrong. Kay cared. And so did others that wanted to put an end to the slave trade. Or at the very least, shrink it down.

Two days ago she had landed on planet, having followed the directions that her intel had given her. After speaking with the locals, she managed to get the village evacuated. It was just outside of one of the dozen dome entrances that she waited for the rest of her team. Again she was wearing her light armour, and armed with her blaster bracer, standard blaster, and a dagger in her boot.

Hopefully this mission is a success. But there were never any guarantees.

Orex fastened the cloth around his cloak and looked out at the steam-powered landscape. He stood, mulling over his anger and intent to kill. He slowly felt the right side of his face. How ironic, someone with Orex's temperament have a permanent grin burnt up his face. Perhaps some apparatus is due? A partial mask maybe. It would certainly intimidate the scum he came across. Soon, he stepped off the ramp of his ship and made his way to the agreed meeting point.

As he made his way to meet the Queen. He thought back on his experiences during childhood. There were few things that really came close to sharing the hatred that Orex felt for Slavers. Yet this wasn't an empathetic hatred. He didn't kill them for others. He hunted them like the vermin they were, for himself. Stripping away his sense of being and giving him nothing but pain. He hunted for revenge. As if to redeem the being he lacked all those years ago.

Orex looked around. Primitive, yet admirable. These humble little creatures were making good progress, yet Orex couldn't help but feel pity for something with such a lack of power. In such a Galaxy, these small engineers could be wiped out if anyone was so inclined. They were forever teetering on the verge of destruction. Better to simply remove the weak, or make use of them Orex contemplated.

Soon, he located [member="Lady Kay"] and made his way for their first meet and greet. An exotic introduction by Orex's standards.

As he approached, he made eye-contact with the Queen and offered a smile, with a hand outstretched.

Shaking a hand such as Orex's right suddenly made him aware of his injury. Gloves would be nice. Perhaps grasping what was essentially charcoal was likely not ideal.

"Your Majesty. I am Orex Mauda"

Lev Orlova

An irredeemable soldier haunted by his sins.
Stepping from behind a few trees, the enigmatic merc Lev came into view. He wore on him a modified, lightly armored version of some basic exoskeleton design, probably because he wielded a very large gauss rifle, and his camouflaged uniform underneath bore no markings or insignia. His face was obscured by a tactical breathing mask/helmet combination, with a hose distending from the mouth piece to two large gas tanks on his back. Lev stopped at a very sociable, warm, 6 or so meters from the two, his species' aloofness with outsiders being displayed with no subtlety.

He glanced over the exchange occurring before him and waited for it to conclude. Curtly speaking up, Lev laid out his game plan without introducing himself,"Queen Kaih...", he bowed his head as slightly as it would allow, addressing her with his strange accent. "Probably gonna be some force users." The voice amplification from his mask garbled his voice slightly, perhaps it was intentional. He nodded towards a hill overlooking the village,"Don't like getting close to a Sith. Gonna sit up there. Overwatch."

He paused for a long, awkward moment, the cultural differences becoming more evident with each passing second. The reflective visor on his mask stared at the queen blankly. He then concluded his master plan with,"Not planning to take prisoners with this." He hefted up the massive rifle for a moment. "Hope you're not planning to investigate me for war crimes, too," he alluded to an unresolved political situation between the Queen and his homeland's King. Was it his way of making a joke, or just an attempt to get a little jab in the defense of his planet? It was hard to tell. Either way, the merc concluded the conversation before it really even started, standing off to the side to listen and wait for the rest of the team members.

[SIZE=10.5pt]The disorganized group whom were tasked with securing additional slaves was exactly that. Disorganized. [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Priscilla was unsure as to whether she would actually be capturing anyone or simply providing covering fire for the raiding team. Still, she remained some distance away from another village. Gazing the landscape, she saw the enormous pipes and ventilation shafts protruding from the grounds of the burrowed enclaves. After she was satisfied, she bent a knee and began scoping in with her rifle after deploying the front struts on a nearby loosened rock, spotting some of the locals moving towards a wooded grove. The cross hair of her weapon found itself on one of them, muttering to herself, "[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Overgrown rodent...[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]", lightly tapping the trigger though dare not firing as to hide her position. The weapon's[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]She was by no mean a slaver herself, infact the idea of owning another person simply bored her. Though, she wasn't being paid to have what little morals she had left be put on display; at the end of the day the unsuspecting civilians were just a means to expand her growing bank account. Killing them likely wouldn't help that cause, though if she was hunting for sport she might have entertained the idea of killing the party just for sport.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]The weapon's struts were retracted hastily as she spotted the raiding party. Gracefully landing from the cliff she had perched herself on and hastily making way for the rest of the group mere meters away from her. Azrik The Condottiero
The Condottiero blended in with the irregular mix of mercenaries and fixers sent on this raid. Wearing a brown cloak and shirt, hood drawn up and a pair of tinted tactical goggles pulled over his eyes help conceal who he was. On his hip was a T-6 heavy blaster, and a vibroknife was strapped down near his right boot. He brandished an A310 rifle as he moved with the rest of the mercs, overall he looked more equipped to be doing odd jobs for Hutts than someone with formal military training.

"Let me make something perfectly clear." The Condottiero said. "Our lives are expendable to the individuals who invested in this raid." The Condottiero spoke to the other mercs, he had been hired by the Nar Shaddaa Labor Alliance to ensure the slaves got back to their new owners. Recently a new wave of abolitionism had struck at the heart of the slaving industry, two-bit enforcers form Nal Hutta were not up to par with new security demands in slave raids. Mercenaries, hired guns, sell-swords had to step up, most were eager to prove themselves or make big credits from underworld dealers for successfully escorting captured slaves back to their new masters. The targeted species in this raid was a small sentient rodent, perfect for forced labor in slave mines or on starships, were the costs of unionized and professional labor drove up prices. An expandable slave workforce would help the lower costs and increase profit margins. It was no big secret the Hutts were interested.

Glancing around the Condottiero scanned the area for possible abolitionist opponents, Jedi, Mandos, or any do-gooder who was looking to taking a shoot at him. "What are we waiting for! Get the transport over the center of that village. We herd these rodents on board and were out of here." His voice growled with irritation. Some of the other mercenaries were chatting among themselves about what to do, pointing and gesturing down at a village of the unaware locals. However the Condottiero already had plan put together, and didn't want this job to be a screw up.

Up in space Darth harbinger's personal star destroyer suddenly appeared out of hyper space with a flash. It was soon orbiting the planet slowly wail it got into posission. Darth Harbinger's star destroyer had picked up on a radio transmission that gave him the impression that slavers might be aiming to capture the natives and sell them off to god knows where. It wasn't often that his goals aligned with the perverbial "light" though he hated slavers and as such, one of his own personal goals was to put a dent in the slave Ring. He soon began walking from the command center and after he walked to the hanger he flew his mining vessle Down towards the planet below. After roughly ten minute standard time he arrived on the planet below and stepped out of his ship. He saw what seemed to be a small group gathering and as he headed towards them he began to mask his potent aura of darkness. "Good day" he said to them all in a heavy accent that resembled a Scottish accent perfectly. "So... Did I miss anything?" He asked them calmly.

The sounds of steam powered machinery hummed and hissed, while the smell of smoke hung in the air. Harli opened her eyes to see smoke stacks sticking out from the large dome. She found it kinda fascinating that a society existed that relied on primitive steam power, while others had technology to cross the entire galaxy. This didn't mean she thought less of them. She found them to be excellent at what they did best, engineering.

Unfortunately, the Tintinna people's were under threat by slavers. The fact that the Tintinna weren't as technology advanced as the slavers, made them an easy target. This was something Hatli wouldn't stand by and let happen. She wasn't a fan of slavers or slavery and hoped to stop at least one raid today.

She adjusted the collar of her beskar'gam before picking her LK Vyper rifle. Her armor consisted of a black and yellow beskar'gam chest piece, brown cargo pants and black combat boots. Underneath all that was a snug fitting black armorweave suit. A pair of beskar'gam gauntlets adorned her hands and forearms.

Harli made her way over to the small group gathering around Lady Kay. She was glad to be part of the team, and glad to follow someone as willing to fight slavers. "Lady Kay. I'm Harli Hayes, and I'm at your service."

Lao Tzu pulled up to one of the entrances to the village in his 74-Z Speeder Bike. He was here in search of a Droid, aChiss and a Twi'lek. He hoped that he could find one of them here because they all had ties to Mercs and slavers. The irony he thought to himself as he slowed his speeder to a very cauasl pace as he entered the village. He saw the various Mercs and they had their weapons drawn, well some of them did. He didn't pay much attention to the locals. He was here for them or to acquire slaves.

Lao Tzu wore his usual armor, the Sasori Medium bodyarmor, and had his shotgun and lightsaber with him, both easily visible and easy to get too. If one was keen enough, the colors of his armor represented the Akaata clan. A Mandalorian clan that he had allegiance too. He looked around the village as he slowly made his way through, for he was in no hurry as he could sense something was off. It could be the obvious slavers or the mercs or the fact that he was Force sensitive and could feel it.

That is, until he was stopped by a rather large and imposing humanoid in heavy armor with a helmet on and three fingers on each hand standing in front of his bike. Lao slowed it to a stop and said with an obvious smirk,

"Did I forget to pay the the toll? Or are you on your period?"

The team was coming together, each of them making their own time. Not all of them were of the same background, nor were their styles to be the same. And she had counted on that. It made their tactics far less predictable.

Kay bowed her head to [member="Orex Mauda"] as he approached and took hold of his outstretched hand, giving it a firm shake in greeting. "Thank you for your help, and please, just call me Kay."

[member="Lev Orlova"] approached from the trees. It was no surprise to her that she didn't see him until he had gotten close. The man was very good at his job and his reputation was...well let's just say that she didn't want to end up as his target anytime soon. Kay bowed her head. "We are far enough from Sith territory for them not to have any claims here, but not far enough that there was no chance in running into them. We're not at war. We're here to prevent the Tintinna from being enslaved. Just do what you need to do to achieve our objective." She was no Jedi and wouldn't claim to be one, nor did this have anything to do with Commenor. This was just a personal mission of her own.

Both [member="Darth Harbinger"] and [member="Harli Hayes"] arrived at nearly the same time. Kay bowed her head to the both of them. "Thank you for coming. I appreciate it." Pleasantries aside, it was time to get to business. "My intel tells me that this village will be raided soon. I've been here for a couple of days now and have spent that time getting everything prepared. The locals have been evacuated and are hiding out in the nearby cities. I've equipped some decoys in a few of the houses that look like easier targets. If we ambush the slavers too early, they'd have an easier chance at running.
Lev...you'll be our eyes above ground. Keep in radio contact and shoot when you need to. Let us know if any reinforcements artive. As for the rest of you, we are going underground. I'll need to show you where the different charges are set. They aren't strong, as we wouldn't want to collapse the city around us. But they are packed with enough power to throw you off your feet.

Any questions before we proceed?"

Lev Orlova

An irredeemable soldier haunted by his sins.
Lev looked to the Sith approaching them that seemed very out of place. He almost lowered his weapon, pointed to sky, to bear on the Sith, but he paused. Muscles tensed, he watched in utter confusion as the Sith placed himself amongst the group. The confusion was apparent even through the mask that betrayed no facial expression underneath. Lev returned to his relaxed pose after a moment, his breathing mask's reflective visor staring down the Sith with all manner of suspicion and distrust. He wasn't unused to Sith, even working for them in the past, but he would have never guessed one of them would have joined them to stop the slaver operation. Lev decided if he ended up fighting Jedi in his scope he'd pinch himself until he woke up.

With less suspicion or surprise he looked over the last approaching merc with the same, tacit disinterest that he regarded everyone with. His head turned slowly as the Queen addressed him. He nodded curtly and spoke up again,"Tak, I'll give you the play by play when they gettin' here." With that he looked over the others one last time before jogging off towards the hill overlooking the entrance. His exoskeletons whirred softly as he passed through some bushes. Making his way to the top of the hill, he found a perfect spot. Amongst all the brush and concealment was a thick tree. It branched off into two at the center, the perfect support for his massive rifle.

He nestled it into the crevice created by the fork in the tree and adjusted his sights. He pulled a small datacable reel from the back of his helmet, and attached it to the side of the rifle. His vision blurred for a second, as his mask displayed the scope's view in the upper right corner of his HUD. He was getting reads of the moisture level, the temperature, the wind speed. It wasn't going to matter at this range. He clicked a button with his thumb on the side of the rifle and the scope automatically zeroed itself in range.

He zoomed into the group he had just been standing with, scanning over them for a moment. He then brought the zoom back up one degree of magnification and silently watched over all the different approaches to the entrance. Now, he just had to wait.

Orex was satisfied. Kay had been prepping for days so he was confident she knew what she was doing. Yet he maintained some skepticism. After greeting the Queen, he stood back and moved in with the rest of the group. A bizarre collection. A merc kitted out with some impressive gear, another clad in Beskar and, who was of particular interest to Orex, A man of darkness, shrouded in a cloak and a mask. Orex was certainly going to attempt to speak to him at some point.

Observing the group, Orex thought about who might be problematic. The merc in the trees was a suspicious one, Orex could feel it. The white-haired member was covered in Beskar. So, if anything went downhill, she was going to be a frustrating one. Finally Orex looked at the cloaked darksider. He couldn't gauge his abilities but assumed he likely had more training or experience than Orex. And that Saber-Scythe was certainly an intimidating weapon.

Once he was done assessing the other Mercs, Orex simply clasped his hands behind his back, watched and listened.

HK had been hiding amongst the trees outside the village, overlooking it. A lot of strange People had gathered there, probably some madmen who were going to protect the Creatures living there. When HK had taken this job, he knew there could be resistance, but not as diverse as this seemed. But it gave him a plan, an opportunity, on how to proceed.

There were many other mercs and guns-for-hire who were going to try to capture the rodents of this planet, and HK had been in contact With them. But "he" preferred to work alone, at least to some degree. He knew the others were probably gathering someplace on the planet, but he didn't care. He had his own plan now, and if the other meatbags did as he hoped, they would all come out of this richer.

He began walking Down to the village, With a rifle hanging on his back. As he reached it, he sought out the one he thought was in charge; [member="Lady Kay"]. "Greetings: Good day, human." He forced himself to Call her human instead of meatbag. "I presume you are the one in charge here. I am HK-51, translation and protection droid. Clearification: I can assure you my model is not like the originals, I was made to protect, not liquidate. I was sent here by my master to help in what is happening here." It wasn't easy to lie like this, especially since he wasn't sure they were there to protect the soon-to-be slaves, he just assumed it. And the lie about his "master" sending him there wasn't a very good lie. "Statement: and before you ask, I am not allowed to tell the name of my master. That was his instructions."

Hearing about another species viewed and treated sometimes more like beasts than actual people, as he had made experience of having been treated himself, sparked Ronak‘s interest. Ever since Coruscant and his run-on with the slavers there, opposing them had become a more prevalent aim in his life. A ship had dropped him at some distance from the village, as the captain did not want to be involved and so he had to cross the forest before being able to reach the village where Lady Kai and her group were supposed to meet.

Wandering through a foresta for the first time since leaving his home Uvena Prime made his heart leap with joy. Delighted he took in the scent of ferns, trees and forest dwellers. The sounds of rustling leaves, singing winds, chirping wildlife made him feel reminiscent of home. A whirring blaster shot, a pained yowl and rustling sounds of running through underbrush suddenly changed the idyll.

„You can‘t even kill a bloody beast“, someone shouted with an intense accent, the Shistavanen could not place. „I‘ll show bring you back its head. Watch me!“, another shouted back. „Stop fooling around you idiots! We‘re here for a a raid, no tomfollery. The boss will have your hide!“, a third voice commanded sharply. From the sound of it, the man turned back to join his group. These must be the slavers, he thought frantically. I must get to the rescue team.

The rustling in the bushes before became more intense interrupting his thoughts, as an injured beast limped onto the deer pass he had used for walking and collapsed. Torn between the need to warn the others and the compassion for the injured beast, he decided to at least check on the animal before running to the group. No group of humanoids could beat a Shistavanen running in forest territory. Approaching carefully, speaking in a low voice to calm the beast down, he stepped at its side and examined the blaster wound which looked nasty – intestines where charred, skin and ribs melted. All he could do was end its suffering by quickly cutting its throat.

No sooner had he done this, did he turn to run in the direction he supposed the camp to be. Running on all fours not only increased his speed, but also let him appear more like a beast to possible scouts of the raiders he had just observed.

Panting, he closed in on the village, and only when stepping over the forest‘s edge did he turn to running only two legs only. A diverse group had already assembled there, some of them had crossed his path before. But his attention was on a more immediate task, turning to the woman in charge, Ronak barked: „Lady Kai. Forgive me for the delay. I had observed the raiders, who are an hour or two behind me and drawing closer!“ Remembering his manners finally, he added: „I am Ronak… at your service.“

Still panting slightly, he eyed the others assembled here. With a curt and respectful nod he greeted Orex who still had his ghastly scar in the face. At Harli‘s sight he gave a short yelp in greeting. And Darth Harbinger still gave him the creeps even at the second meeting and without his fear inspiring aura, but was greeted nonetheless. The others, he had never met before, but greeted them with curt nods each. Only the droid made his neck‘s fur stand slightly on edge and he ignored the … thing without smell and real emotion.

Darth harbinger gave lady Kay a bow of respect as well before listening as she explained the situation in a short but clear synopsis. "I see...so what would you have me do then...i.assume you thought a plan out then? It wasn't as bad as he thought though the situation was still a close one never the less. He looked at the Mercenary who he sensed a high amount of confusion and suspicion from , it was clear a sith was the last thing this battle clad Mercenary had expected to see. "Relax Mercenary, my goal is the same as yours" he told him calmly as harbinger had a dislike for the aspects of slavery. As he then glanced over the others, taking note of a man who seemed to be another Mercenary, slightly familiar...he wondered if he had run into him in the past.. he looked familiar to someone who ran the D.E.A.D Mercenary guild. a familiar voice made Darth harbinger look over. Seeing Ronak he looked over and gave him a slight bow "our paths seem to cross again.. a pleasure" he told him before his gaze fell onto the robot. This was something he was not too keen over. Darth Harbinger eyed the robot but he had a bad feeling... His master was unnamed...that was not normal for most operations...it didn't seem right but due to HK being a Droid... He was unable to sense weather or not there was deception. It troubled him but he kept it to himself for now but he would be watching...

Azrik The Condottiero
The Condottiero took a few steps closer towards the village. He was about to start barking orders, yet something was off, he could feel it in the force. Looking back at the other mercenaries to note which ones were carrying launchers and explosives. Acting casually the Condottiero walked over to one of the mercenaries. "Have the men sit tight, I'm going in alone." He pointed to the sniper, [member="Priscilla Utorna"]. " Have the men form a defensive perimeter on this ridge facing the village. And make sure you cover me." He then turned away and quickly sprinted towards the village.

With the recent attacks on slave raids, the Condottiero wondered if this was a setup. Or perhaps a trap. Recently several galactic governments had begun pushing an abolitionist agenda, slavers like him were the new public enemy. If these abolitionists had been tipped off, which was likely, they could stage an ambush to eliminate as many slavers as possible. With the mercenaries in a defensive position on the ridge overlooking village, if he could spring the trap and draw their enemies into the village, then the slavers would have the upper hand.

After a few moments he had reached the perimeter of the Tintinna village. Nothing. No movements, no noise, no curious on lookers. His gaze shifted from structure to structure, at first he though he spotted one, but quickly realized it was a decoy. "Going loud. Be ready." The Condottiero said over the communicator. He raised his rifle and fired. Two loud blaster shouts echoed out from the village as he put two rounds into a decoy. He pulled a concussion grenade off his belt and tossed into a flimsy looking nearby structure. There was a loud BANG! as the grenade went off and the structure partially collapsed in on itself. The noise had startled the local wildlife, with several birds taking flight and other alarmed critters scattering away from the blast.

"Its a Trap. Watch out for hostiles." The Condottiero said over his comm to the other mercenaries. Alone for the moment, he kept his rifle raised to see who had set them up.

Kay nodded to [member="Lev Orlova"] as he confirmed her orders. At least he was okay with it. She wasn't the type to not listen to the opinions of others. One can't be a good leader by shutting others out. Being stubborn didn't exactly pay off in every situation.

[member="Orex Mauda"] didn't seem to have any questions. Instead he just stood back and waited. It was easy to see that he was observing them all, however. There were plenty of people that did that, herself included.

[member="HK-51"] soon approached them. She raised a brow slightly at being addressed merely as human. And also when being told that she wasn't going to get an answer should she ask who his Master was. "Hello HK-51. There are going to be hostiles in the area soon. We need to prevent them from kidnapping the locals.
Sounds easy enough, right? You probably won't do well in close quarters, so why don't you stay above ground and work from that ridge over there?"
She pointed towards the opposite side of where Lev walked off to. If one of her friends or family had sent him, well...it wasn't funny.

[member="Ronak"] appeared out from the trees then. At first she was a little unsure of him, as she wasn't quite familiar with the wild beasts on Rinn. Yet he soon introduced himself.
"An hour or two behind? Then we haven't got much time. Let's get a move on."

She beckoned for them all to follow as she put a helmet on and activated her comms so that she could keep in contact with Lev most of all. Then she opened the door to a hut that wasn't a decoy. Light illuminated within the mud and stone dome where a stairwell and tunnel greeted them. ~Remember the number 3.
Every third opening you see, keep away from it. That's where the charges are. Keep that in mind. As I saud, the charges won't kill you, but they are powerful enough to throw you. If you time it correctly, you can use that to your advantage.~
Kay pointed out one of the charges at knee level of one of the openings. It was grey to match the clay, however it had a faint sky blue light indicating that it was armed.

~These tunnels are a maze of their own, built to confuse.
But I've built pebbled arrows on the floor next to the walls. They will lead you to an exit that'll take you above ground. Even if the slavers follow them, leading them above ground will keep the Tintinna safe.
And lastly,...openings with a 'V' above them will take you to large storage rooms, giving you plenty of space to fight and capture the slavers. Try to only kill them if it is a matter of life and death.
You don't want to accidently kill anyone that's on our side.~

The sound of the explosion above ground caused the tunnel to tremble. ~It's showtime. They're here.~ Kay took in a deep breath and then unholstered her blaster before breaking away from the group. Hopefully they remembered everything. She tried to keep the amount of information required to be minimal so that it'd be easier. But it was hard to say how it'd go when the battle began.

Kay slowly headed up a flight of steps so that she was at one of the other domed access points. There she sat in the shadows near the top, giving her the low ground, but also giving her clear sight of anyone that may or may not go through that door.

Now she had to wait.

~Lev...how many do you see?~

Lev Orlova

An irredeemable soldier haunted by his sins.
Lev found the mercs in his scope from a distance watching over the village. It was hard to get a good grasp of how many there were, behind all the vegetation, but he could definitely say there were more of them than us. He slowly moved his thumb to switch the safety to the off position on his rifle, and dug the butt of the rifle deeper into his shoulder. Observing the single mercenary [member="Darth Zurvan"] approaching the village, he increased the magnification to observe him, the aiming reticule right over his chest. The merc looked bewildered. He could tell something was up.

Lev quirked an eyebrow as the man raised his blaster to shoot at one of the decoys, then threw a grenade straight into it, blowing it up completely and caving it in. His trigger finger slid off of the trigger guard and rested on top of the trigger for a moment, expecting him to perhaps start chucking grenades at will. Lev paused to watch him as [member="Lady Kay"]'s voice came over the radio. He switched off his voice amplification and spoke hoarsely into the radio,"Hard to tell, atleast 10. Sent some goon to recon, he blew up one of the decoys. They know. Holding fire for now."

The gruff merc wasn't content on hearing the Queen's newest instruction to kill only when necessary. "Idealism." He thought. "Idealists always lose." He concluded as he continued to quietly observe the group approaching, waiting for the moment to strike.

The Chiss eyed [member="Darth Zurvan"], nodding slightly and then turning to a few of the other hired mercenaries, two women and three men each carrying a very basic sniper rifle, much less advanced than her own. While the grappling hook on said rifle made it much easier for her to scale a nearby cliff and get into a firing position, the others were not so fortunate, slowing their progress much to her own displeasure. Even when they reached the top - much closer than the one she could be found in earlier, infact mere meters from the entrance to the door downwards - it took mere seconds to set up their firearms, to which she quickly raised her wrist to her mouth, communicating on their encrypted channel. Or at least attempting to.

By then, her contractor had already begun firing, to which the less experienced hunters looked to Priscilla for advice. Her hand remained in a still position, easing the tension among them, the other now raised to her hand once more with the rifle left resting on a rock formation.

"There is nobody in this part of the village; the rodents reside in underground tunnels, this is a distraction if anything."

Orex absorbed [member="Lady Kay"] 's information and moved along with the rest of the group. He nodded to [member="Ronak"] and offered a smile, "A pleasure to fight with you again. Hopefully this one doesn't punish my body as much", his smile broadened and the split flesh that traveled up to his right ear parted even further, baring his back-most teeth and stretching the burnt muscle in his face.

Two shots and a grenade went off. The battle had begun and so, Orex followed [member="Lady Kay"] out to another access point, and then went further. Careful to remember the briefing, he went to a third dome and hid himself just inside the doorway, near a charge. He felt a Sith Lord, something he certainly had never felt before. But he was his target. Orex intended to challenge himself and so he wanted to engage him. Hiding in the doorway, he grabbed his Lightsaber and kept it in-hand, ready.

Orex clicked into comms; "There's a Sith here, unsurprising if he were the ring-leader. Either way, He's mine. I intend to bring him to my position and make good use of this charge. Advise?"

Concluding his reiteration, he began to reach out to the Sith and attempt some form of connection.

Following in the line behind their leader and listening intently to Lady Kai‘s instructions, Ronak inspected the tunnel quite closely. Like any Shistavanen, he needed no lighting or visual aid to see in the near darkness of the side tunnels and make out the beginning of this labyrinth of underground ways turning away from the dimly lit main tunnel. One he could see leading into a larger space, a cave or storage hall. When hearing the further instruction part, he looked up and found his assumption confirmed by the “V“ carved above the entrance.

Then, a shiver ran down his spine, as he felt the new and intense dark presence nearby. Seconds later, his sensitive ears could make out blasters shots, before the earsplitting sound of an explosion made him wince slightly, as the tunnel around them trembled but held firm. At least collapsing tunnels would hopefully not be a problem. „It‘s showtime. They‘re here!“, were Lady Kai‘s words before leaving to group to find their preferred posts. His brother would not have considered this a proper battle cry, but he wouldn‘t have joined such a mission either. Hopefully he was alright, wherever he was.

Orex‘ words came on the comm. Of course he would like to fight the Sith lord on his own. But would he be up to it all by himself? His eyes darted to Darth Harbinger and the man with the dark aura. Would they help? Or ally with the other Sith, now that they knew their opponent was no mere slaver, but one of their own? He had already experienced how quickly their behaviour could change from rational to irrational and an uneasy feeling remained with him with so many nearby.

Orex had asked for advice. „Smear some mud on the first explosives in your doorway to hide the lights! They are a dead give-away“, he growled trying to keep his voice down. For his sensitive eyes even the dim blue lighting made the explosive devices quite obvious and so they would be for any opponent with similar senstive senses, a Sith lord maybe. „Maybe go further in, so that the leader of the group passes by the explosive device, before we ignite it and try to take him or it least some of his lackeys off their feet. Could someone support you with the Sith?“ Ronak knew perfectly well that Orex‘ pride and wish to fend by himself, would prohibit him to ask for support. But he did not want to see him get killed.

„I will try to lure some of them into one of the storage halls. I can see in the dark. Likely they will need lighting of some sort which can be extinguished. Then, I will try take them out in the dark. Anyone up for supporting springing such a trap?“ His hope was that either Harli who was a well-prepared and organised woman might have goggles provding her with dark vision or that one of the dark force users could use his ability to perform such a feat.

Intently, he waited for any responses on the comm while probing the tunnel in search for a good hiding place.
