Serious EMP damage can also disrupt the connection or, if the transfer is still successful, cause data lass corruption, memory loss etc.
The Revenant is an update on older Archangel designs that takes advantage of new technological innovations the shadowy machine cult has introduced recently. On first sight, it is just another droid starfighter. Sure, its weapons, speed and agility are a cut or two above average. And the droid brain is incredibly intelligent and adaptive and seems to match an organic for ingenuity, then that is just a sign of how far technology has advanced.
In truth, it is strictly speaking not a droid starfighter. At least not purely. Instead it is controlled by an organic, whose consciousness has been uploaded into a NeuroDigital Matrix. The transfer process is clean and painless, and liberates the recipient from their organic flaws and needs by digitalising their mind. In effect, their consciousness becomes data. At the same time they retain all their previous knowledge and can learn from experience. Meanwhile, their organic bodies can be stored or repurposed since they do not need them.
This allows the Revenant to combine the ingenuity and flexibility of an organic with the tirelessness, predictive abilities and discipline of a machine. For obvious reasons, Archangel prefers utilising the minds of organics with prior experience as combat pilots. But because the matrix is essentially a digitalised brain, flash memory training can be used to teach a user new skills. Archangel takes thing a step further by giving the fighter a wiress link to a central hub comparable to the one used by the ancient Trade Federation to control its droids.

However, the transfer process can be sabotaged by jamming the connection or severely damaging the fighter through EMP.
Aside from these features, the droid starfighter is quick, well-armed and agile. It is able to carry out complex, high speed manoeuvres in space and possesses its own hyperdrive. is not designed for an organic pilot with a body to actually sit in the cockpit, so it has been stripped of frivolities Enyo views as unnecessary. This leaves it with more room for equipment. The Revenant's primary armaments consist of four powerful laser cannons and two variable warhead launchers can fire a series of different warheads from an internal magazine. The magazine can unload and reloading weaponry quickly, giving the machine intelligence greater flexibility. The final weapon is a light blaster cannon concealed in its chassis that can be lowered and rotated three hundred sixty degrees. The blaster cannon is able to fire backwards at pursuing craft and put ground attackers under fire.
The craft's propulsion suite incorporate three Alderaan Engineering Rotational Engines. This allows a ship to make a full stop in space, followed by a rapid pivot or turn to reorient the facing of the craft. With three engine units it allows one to be damaged and the ship to maintain functionality with only minor handling issues. This can enable the vessel to carry out the occasional stop or pivot manoeuvre to helo shake off pursuing enemies. The craft can accelerate in any direction, left, right, forward, backwards. This has benefits for handling and agility. It possesses an array of highly advanced sensor and targeting equipment.
