It felt good to have sand brushing against his skin once again.
Too much time had been spent away from his home. Even though he was not born here, it was the one true place that he felt his heart connected to. Here, and the stars. That has been where his mother and father were. For now, though, Nova belonged here.
The journey back to the desert world had not been easy. He was very grateful for the YT-1000 that Kyric had gifted to him. Credits spent travelling was cut down significantly. Transport shuttles across the galaxy were not cheap. However, the ship was stating to rack up as well. Part of the reason for his landing at the large station known as Steadfast was to gain a few credits before heading deeper into the dunes. Nova knew that his ship could stay parked here for a little while without there being too much trouble. B returning to Jakku because he was homesick was not the reason for his visit unfortunately. If only it were that simple. He was called to return here through the Force. The Echo Stone which was constantly hanging around his neck had begun to hum with energy, guiding the boy back. He still had yet to understand what the true calling was. But Nova knew it was unwise to ignore the Force when it was calling.
Deep down, the boy knew it had something to do with the Jakku Jedi Enclave, the place he was practically raised. His parents sent him here when the threat of the Maw burned across the cosmos. It was a difficult decision, but a necessary one. Nova spent much of his early years living and training at the enclave, studying underneath

. Much knowledge was obtained here. Though there was a time for leaving, and so the boy departed for a little while, traveling the stars, carrying the trainings of the Master. Yet the Force had other plans for the Padawan. That's why he was called back. When the time was right, he would fully return, following the compass home. In the meantime, he was ready to wander the station.Letting the Force be his guide, Nova ducted in and out of the market stalls, examining the various junk sprawled out across the tables. In the back of his mind was a strange inkling that there was someone that he was to meet here today. Whether friend or foe was still uncertain. Pushing off the feeling for now, the boy continued to browse.
