Return of the Jedi (SJO Dominion of Hast)

[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btPJPFnesV4[/media]
The time had come for the Silver Jedi to quit nursing their wounds and return to what they had been before they were thrown into pandemonium by the betrayal and butchery that was Korriban. To unite once again and show the galaxy, and themselves, that no matter how many stood against them and no matter how hard it would be, the Order would remain on the light side of the Force; that if they were turned against and their name thrown into the mud, they would rise out of it again stronger than they had been before.
That no matter what, nobody would tear down the Order of the Silver Jedi.
separator-1.png
The Order had not hardly explored the planet of Hast, but it was a neutral planet promising new beginnings. For now at least, there was nothing to incite the same chaos that the presence of the Sith Order had brought about on Korriban, meaning that with any luck, today's conquests could remain relatively peaceful. The planet offered valuable territory to the Jedi and had not yet shown any disagreement to their presence there - the carefully thought out move seemed a perfect one, though for the foreseeable future every step the Order took would be made with great caution. No matter how much the Order had or hadn't recovered from the events of Korriban, rebuilding the public's trust would take much longer, meaning it was vital that nothing they did could be shaped to be viewed in a negative light - there was little room for error.
The small part of the potentially larger population that had made their presence known had no quarrel with the Jedi, but had kept themselves to themselves, so besides the sizable shipyards that the planet was in part known for, there was little else to go on. This dominion would be an adventure in every sense of the word, with much opportunity to explore and learn.

Hast
As morning came, the Jedi would come in fleets, landing by the shipyards as the sun rose. From higher up, a few small villages could be seen, but any larger settlements would require a little more searching. They had landed on a relatively unexciting patch of land, though the shipyard seemed to offer much and numerous pretty natural features decorated the land. Caves and forests would house much greater challenges and maybe even a more meaningful structure would be found...it was up to the coming Jedi to uncover whatever mysteries the planet held.
Further out of sight, groups of locals sat watching the coming ships, some in wonder, some in shock, disgust even. The Order had known before coming that it was pointless to hope that their arrival would please everyone...some would sit in sullen acceptance but a few more ambitious and likely more deadly would be teaming up to make it difficult for them. Only time would tell how successful they were...

Jedi, it is time to make your return.
Objectives:

Shipyard Construction: Not much is known about the system but the directorate seems to have a presence within it. Ignore their shipyards and make a place for a Silver jedi shipyard that is inbound.

Shipyard Defense: There are slavers (provided by [member="Joza Perl"] in the system going after the locals and the shipyards. Fleeters and those wanting to help defend should move in to protect the people.

Diplomatic gains: Head down to the planet and see if there are locals or if the world is uninhabited. Make it up as you go and coordinate with [member="Gir Quee"].

Rangers assemble: The Rangers are looking to work on things and develop some new methods for appealing to people. Get some operations in there to create buzz to maybe attract newcomers.

Secondary Objective Project Oculus: A new piece of tech for jedi is being developed to help find force sensitive objects and people. Test it out and use the new force tech if you wish to have a free prototype for yourself.

Do your own thing:

Hast System - Onboard the Skyborn
Keshiri 1st Scout detachment + Aurora Defensive Elements - Hast branch
(Aurora elements not shown [known] as of yet)
Further Military Elements include Solan's Shadow Legion and Aurora defense personel (droids included)

Solan stood on the bridge of the Skyborn with a slightly annoyed look on his face. From what he knew the Silver Jedi decided now was a good time to start nationalizing things, but what he had heard was through the grapevine and not from [member="Coci Heavenshield"]'s mouth so he was completely unsure. Just incase though he had brought his scout fleet with him to the location, as well as any soldiers he didn't have placed on worlds like Narshadaa or Eshan or Alderaan for security reasons. His Shadow Legion was his eyes and ears after all, and today they would help by being a shield for Aurora's facilities.
He thought about this for a few moments more before deciding to contact Heavenshield. Something felt severly wrong with all of this and after the events of Korriban he was unsure how many of those in the Silvers was devoted to their cause. It was funny, Solan mused. Those who had been lightside beat the actually dark sided user to the punch on wiping out people genocide style. And now they were here to nationalize the works of companies. Even he as a monarch didn't do that on his planet unless war times were in effect and the planet was directly threatened... something that a more democratic body had beaten him to again. This was getting out of hand.
None the less he waited and when the first ship tried to come close he would give it a quick warning.
"All ships that belong to the Silver Jedi Order. You are not permitted to land on the stations nor seize control of any Aurora Industries holdings. If you wish to dispute this my ship's hangers are clear... if you would like to try and land on one of Aurora's ship yards, the fighters that used to be in my ship's hangers will insist otherwise."

The Blue Pilgrim did his best to move quietly and gracefully in the shuttle's cargo hold as he donned his armor. He had no idea what lay bellow in the planet--friend, foe, or otherwise, all that Akio knew was he was drawn here. And that it was for a reason. The Pilgrim was still on his way, moving from place to place as the Force called him to. He pulled his force imbued tunic down over his body, smiling slighlty, ever at home everywhere, never a home anywhere.

There was a time when he was much wealthier than now, but at what cost? He had killed countless lives as an assassin, going from victim to victim just for the kill itself. The honor that came in it. The Jedi--well they had offered him a new path. The Chiss thought about that for a moment as he strapped his quill-carrying gauntlets on and sheathed his swords behind him. The irony of them being called into reprimand was not lost on him. He coiled his Manriki around his waist as the ship's descent reached the planet at last. Monk's spade in hand, Akio had completed his arming process. It was long, time-consuming and certainly not easy, but he enjoyed it all the same.

The Chiss slipped out the cargo hold without the crew getting any wiser. It had nothing to do with the Force and everything to do with years of training on Akio's part. Once in the open air, he began walking through the ship yards out into the surrounding town.....

Willa looked from the bridge of the ship and shrugged turnig to see the other ranger's who were there before they stayed. "Well commander Isard there is someone saying we can't have the shipyards." She looked at him. "Alright then, ignore him and bring in our own." Willa looked at it and brought the one screen up as the Harrison and Dymo classes came out of hyperspace with one of the ships they were helping develop here. Testing the advanced drive to really start pushing it forward. "Master [member="Coci Heavenshield"], Grandmaster [member="Thurion Heavenshield"], [member="Connor Harrison"]. We have entered the Hast system and encountered resistance at the shipyards. I am changing the plan from going for them to ignoring them and the chest pounders who want to bring fleets to our backdoor in favor of calling in one of our manufacturing yards. It will be larger and better able to suit our needs. I'll start having the ranger's and ships clear a pathway for it while we escort diplomatic teams to the planet." There was a pause though while she waited to hear from them and information about the projects they were working on came when she was presented with the oculus seeing the other things around before she put it up. "There isn't much here, deply recon scouts and the main forces I doubt we will be needing the others and start working on those upgrades to the ship to test it."

Connor Harrison was based on Voss to watch over the operation. Matters surrounding Korriban still required him to be able to move at a moments notice, but for now he watched a large holo-map of the Silver Order fleet and ships heading to Hast.

With Willa Isard touching base, he ran a hand over his beard and opened the com.

"Commander Isard, go for it. I'll open up coms with Taeli Raaf of Aurora at once and assure her that we aren't going to touch her toys."

He exhaled and shook his head.

"So much for a blue milk run," he muttered, and signed off.

From the orbital station which housed the headquarters of The Directorate, Ray sat quietly as he looked out at the Order fleets which had just arrived in system. Politically Hast was a mess; the relations between many of the planetary governments had broken down and for the better part of three months now the Directorate was all which has stood between many of the city-states and open war. As a result, much of the Directorates fleet had been recalled and were working as a deterrent against open warfare on the world. Now as more and more hostilities grow eminant the Order of the Silver Jedi have come to aid the Directorate and the world of Hast in stabilizing their fractured government and bring the world under the flag and protection of the Silver jedi.

"Commander relay a greeting and our thanks to the Silver Jedi and inform them They are clear to move into orbit." said Raymond mosses. In the distance the yards of Aurora and the ship's of SolaCharr. He had already informed the Jedi fleet to steer clear of Aurora property, which Ray thought was unneeded. The world of Hast had been safely hidden away from the galaxy and even the Directorates neighbors knew little of the world. They were to bring a mobile yard with them to place into orbit for their own production needs and set up a base of operations on the surface from which they can work with the worlds government to stabilize it and further the relations between the world of Hast and its people and the Order.

From his set he could see the ships if the criminal Charr. The man seemed to always be present at the most inconvenient times. His part in the attack on Mimban was not something Ray would forget. Nearly a million beings lost their lives in battles in and around the Mimban system. Peace may be the order of the day now for him and his people but Ray did not trust Solan, but if Taeli trusted him enough to order him to protect the yards then Ray would not interfere.

For now The Directorate would stand down and monitor the operations of the Order of the Silver Jedi and continue to protect the world while Admiral Quee and the Silver Jedi delt with the diplomatic mission there.

Location: Shipyards.

The Blue Pilgrim came to the outskirts of the shipyard, using his Monk's Spade as an ultrachrome walking stick. All his weaponry was ancient, doubling as tools that they had been adapted from. Gradually the land around him changed from a shipyard to what looked more like a rural area than anything else. His strange garb made heads turn. Well, truth be told, it wasn't every day you saw a guy in glowy black armor with glowy energy flowing off his weaponry. Not to mention it made quite an impression on the untrained force sensitives. He could never hide his aura now, even to the untrained.

The suburbs turned into country settings and farms that helped produce the food that kept this city up and running. Massive plantations and swaths of land dominated by growing fields and heavy machinery covered the land. It was incredibly beautiful, Akio stopped to enjoy the scenery and smells. Life was made up of the smallest delights, living to enjoy them was a blessing not a privilege.

His eyes alighted on a flatbed farm transport several farm hands were loading up with hay and other crops. Akio leaned on his staff, watching them work and for them, he just became another weird part of the surrounding scenery.

"Alright, let's get this to Forisdale," one of the men grunted, "Goodness knows the issues they are dealing with, they need this sooner than later. At the price they are paying, you better believe we're gonna hurry this up."

"You got it boss," the others grunted, following him into the cab.

Was this what I was sent here for? Akio wondered to himself. There was only one way to find out, and he didn't believe in coincidences. There were many times where he had shown up just in time to help someone when they needed it. But was this what he was sent here for? Or would they even be receptive to what he had to say?

The speeder rumbled to life and began to moving away, breaking the Chiss from his thoughts. Akio sprinted after it, but it was accelerating much faster than he was. He hurled his monk's spade ahead of him, it twisted through the air, stabbing into the dirt completely vertical. Akio pulled on the Force, augmenting his own speed. Suddenly he lurched forward into a hand-spring, propelling himself into an acrobatic summersault. His foot landed on the crescent upper end of the spade and the Chiss pushed himself off it with the nudge of the Force. Hurling through the air once more, the Chiss landed softly in a pile of hay. The Monk's spade leaped into his open palm with a nudge from the Force.

Now it was just time to sit and wait.....

Post One

It was... Weird.

Being here there in the Jedi Temple of all places, on a strange world she had heard so much about yet hadn't until just recently touched down upon, Kyra could not help but feel just a touch out of place. Far from the Junkyards, far from Jakku, far from even that strange moon that she had explored with Harrison. Well, maybe not so far from there since it was just a few systems over.

Her gaze drifted over the various consoles and monitors which dotted the command center, the apparent hub of the Shadows as far as she could tell. A decidedly empty room at this moment, just a handful of people muttering into commlinks, eyes flicking left and right as they focused on the screens alone. A constant cacophony of information that seemed as though it would never end.

And amidst it all, [member='Connor Harrison'] himself. The sole reason she was amidst this Order in the first place.

Stepping through the room, carefully around each desk and console, she came to a halt just a few feet from him while he finished up a conversation with whoever else was on the commline. Something about blue milk?

"You're obsessed with that stuff, you are. You should try something a little stronger sometime, like you did back on Jakku."

The night of music. Of strife between the pair, but also of resolution. They seemed to do that alot. Bicker and then patch things up in a very short period of time.

Construction was always something which made Judah feel relaxed. Yes he was a warrior, but that was because he had always been a doer. A leader in his own right, if the chance ever came, Judah leaned more on the fact he could build than actually tell anyone what to do. His tools were with him, and while most used the tech which was provided to them, Judah loved getting his hands dirty. The callouses on his hands were not from years of training with a lightsaber, though he was certain it had contributed, but rather the rough touch of his hands came from working with his hands as a youth. Judah was still young, but he had been working with his hands for much of his life already. Using his passion for the Jedi was something he would never turn down.

For now he worked at clearing the site where the ship yards were going to be. They main structure was said to be on it's way, but there was still some work to do in order to prepare for it. While there seemed to be no need for it, Judah kept his lightsaber at his hip. By this time in his training he felt naked and exposed without it. He had taken a life with it, defended countless people without their ever knowing it. In fact, most of the Silver Jedi were not aware of the service he had performed, and he was okay with that. Teynara knew what he had done, Kait, his mother and father, and they were the only ones who needed to know.

When the others arrived they would find Judah had been there early working hard to make their job easier. It was times like this he felt all in the world would be okay. His mind was taken back to the work he did as boy on the compound his father had built in the forests of Coronet Peak. He was a country boy at heart, and loved the solitude and quiet of working outdoors. This was much more centering for him than any meditation exercise could be, though to Cambria's credit, the katas she had forced him to learn helped him as well. Today was not the time for them, not when there was work to be done.

JJ had rolled up the sleeves of his blue tunic. The sandpanther tooth necklace he always wore was still around his neck. His boots and pants were the same shade of brown, and they were well worn. The nature of his very appearance boasted that this was what made him happy. This was who Judah was deep down inside. Today who he was when he was not a Jedi, and who he was as a Jedi were the same person.

Random Shipping Container, Hast Shipyard

The shipyards of Hast were not the most fertile of targets, but the ambitious duo would go to great lengths to fulfil any customer order. Well, as long as the price was right. The credits attached to this job were worth every moment of hiding out in a dilapidated old shipping container. Deep within the cargo area, it would be difficult to sniff out the patient pair of slavers.

One of the brothers had less patience than the other. Adnan Saeed was the larger, intimidating and short fused leader of the Husk Lizard Slavery Ring. He sat, back against the container’s crumbling wall with the sleeves of his dress shirt rolled up and a scowl on his face. The lit end of a cigarette swiveled in the dark as he took a long drag from it, inhaling deeply before resting his wrist against a knee. Someday he wouldn’t be doing this. Someday he’d have a penthouse on every planet and never have to dirty himself again like this. But in this way, he could be patient. The perceived reward made this all worth it.

A few bars of light flickered across his face as the door slid open, and a body was quickly stuffed into the container. The man thrashed in his bonds and shouted against the gag, but none of these sounds carried and Adnan didn’t move. He sneered, but nothing else was necessary. Another form climbed into the container and moved the door back in place.

“Did anyone see you?” Adnan cleared his throat, deep voice bouncing off of the walls and filling their little room. He coughed again, flicking some ash from the edge of his cigarra, eyes sliding over the frightened man’s face with a clinical gaze.

“No.” Farouk replied, a little out of breath. The younger, softer eyed Saeed brother removed his cap, noticing a few oil splotches that hadn’t been there before. “This is the one right?” Leaning beside his brother, he too looked down at the restrained man as if analyzing his worth. The pair had been sporadically nabbing mechanics and the like for a rich merchant who wanted cheap labor. So far they’d managed to smuggle most of their captives off-world, but they had to be smart about it. Patient. Farouk had been posing as an apprentice for the past few months, hence the humble getup to go with his humble visage. Neither of the brothers was thrilled with the prospect of being stuck here for so long, but it was necessary for this high-paying job.

Reaching forward, Adnan gripped the slave’s chin with this thumb and index finger. He turned the man’s head from side to side, noting his features as they caught the little trickles of light that filtered through the cracks in the ceiling. “Yes.” Was all he said before releasing his hold. The man fell face first onto the floor unceremoniously and let out a muffled cry from behind his gag.

“So…that’s it, right? We’re done? Job over?” Farouk’s fingers toyed with the hat in his hands. He was anxious. They’d managed to lure in enough people to fulfil their order, but Adnan didn’t seem keen on leaving. Nervously, the younger brother scooted forward. “Adnan, we’ve been here for too long. People are getting suspicious. They’re going to find out soon, so let’s just take him,” He tilted his head towards the captive man. “And leave. Now.

Adnan puffed on his cigarette once, taking his time. “One more.” His words drifted on a heavy exhale of smoke, the white of his teeth reflecting the light in a predatory grin.

Shipyard, Hast

Out in the shipyards, a young woman no older than 14 skirted the edge of the premises anxiously. Her father, an engineer who worked on the planet-side shipyards had been missing for about a week. She’d come by every day to inquire about her dad but no one could give her any new information. Unfortunately, this made the pretty young thing the target of a certain slaver. They’d come here to procure ship workers, but a young lady like her could certainly fetch a worthy price on her own.

A little boy, probably half her age wandered over to her. He was relatively clean, but he had a few scrapes here and there as well as a smudge of dirt on his face. With wide blue eyes, he gazed up at the girl in childlike wonder. “Why are you so sad, miss?”

Blinking down in surprise, the girl had to smile sadly. “I’m looking for my father. He used to work here, and he’s been missing for a week. I’m very worried.” She paused. “Why are you here, little one? Are you lost?”

“Oh…” The little boy shifted, seemingly uncomfortable from both the news and her question. “My daddy is missing too. They say that lots o’ people have gone missing. I just want him to come home…” He looked down, a stifling a sniffle before looking back up to here. “Miss, can we…can we look together?” His eyes shone with unshed tears, and he fisted the material of her skirt in one hand.

Her breath caught in her throat, the girl had to take a moment to compose herself before she could respond. “Of course.”

--

“How many people have gone missing?”

Joza’s lips pursed as she swiped through something on her datapad. “So far, five.” She crossed her legs, foot tapping on the floor impatient.

“Oh,” Ivan responded dully. “That’s not too bad.”

For that, she wanted to crack him over the head with her datapad. But Ivan was in control of their ship, heading towards Hast. Instead, she huffed. She could berate him later.

“Five becomes ten, ten becomes twenty, twenty becomes Force knows how many. Regardless,” She cleared her throat, perhaps for effect. “They’re missing, and I have an idea of who it might be. The—“

“Lizard guys, I know. Are you even supposed to be here?” It was Ivan’s turn to be exasperated, jerking his head towards her stomach.

“You know what? I’m not talking to you anymore.” Snapping back childishly, Joza tapped the ship’s com. “[member="Serana"]! We’ll be landing soon. Get ready.”

Wearing a tailored suit, Gir walked through a small side corridor of the convention center of Ibtisam City. Roughly saucer-shaped and anchored to the ocan floor, it vaguely reminded him of several orbital cities that he had seen through travels, though it was smaller and decidedly more claustrophobic feeling. He cleared one set of doors to enter a large corridor where, mingling with the other denizens of the world. He watched a younger mon calamari stare at him with wide eyes before the youth's parent dragged him onward. Yet the child furtively turned his head back towards the blonde man, causing Gir to smile. It seemed strange to have become a minor celebrity in his hometown, yet he had quickly found it not to be for the better. With the fractious peace in place, it seemed that every city was looking for some edge over the other cities, including economic concerns. Gir now found his shipyard facilities just outside of Ibtisam both one of the city's prizes, which in turn made it the target of intrigue from several of the other city states. From what Gir could tell, only the man's and company's association with the Directorate had prevented it from sabotage so far.

"There you are."

Gir's head swiveled to face a lanky mon calamari that he had known since he was seven.

"Keeli," said Gir acknowledging his old schoolmate with a brief nod, "How are you?"

"Probably better than you," said the mon calamari grimly, "most of the city councilors and economic magnates have gathered in the ball room to socialize. You're the odd man out."

"It looks unusual, I'd imagine," mused Gir, "at least to them."

"It does," admitted Keeli, "but at the same time, it's almost expected given how busy you tend to be."

Gir glanced at his wrist chrono, "We're set to arrive ten minutes after the introductory remarks. There should still be plenty of time to chat before the real talks begin..."

Keeli shook his head, "You know that Mothut will want to hang on your arm for every moment, especially if she hasn't felt that she's been able to properly coach you beforehand..."

Gir glumly nodded, "But it can't be helped."

The two Hast natives passed through a set of swinging doors into the convention center's ball room. The din of people chatting all while drinking cocktails and eating appetizers immediately assaulted his ears, making the man wish that he had delayed his appearance to being even later. He almost immediately felt eyes on him before he felt the grasp of Mothut's webbed hand on him. She offered him a polite if carefully crafted smile.

"I have been expecting you, Mister Quee..."

The tie had come, something was going on, something of interest, something of intrigue and as she was looking over the information the large Del-Ya was prepared to work with her master in investigating the planet they were heading to. as she stood there looking at all of it and at the work they had going into it well Serana couldn't help but think how much she wanted to present herself in a good light. Since her master was preggers and in need of a comfortable place... Thankfully the padawan was great at helping her master rest her feet in that case when her back started hurting. "I am ready master, we have work to do investigating and working with the locals."

She was thinking about it while she trotted and stretched out her purple wings with a look on her face. That was't quite a smile but she could work with it to provide a far better idea of where they were going to be headed. Walking out and swishing her tail when she reached out with the force energies. "Lets get dangerous master and find out what we can oh we can chase down leads and interrogate people... oh oh oh can we hang a stool pidgeon off a building and ask him where he is hiding the dugs... if people are disappearing there has to be drugs involved right or some illegal activity that we will just keep uncovering deeper layers of." Oh yeah she had spent the trip watching investigative holofilms for research.

The blaster bolts sailed wild.

The white blade of Riptide was a haze and blur of motion, whipping through the air to deflect a shot away from where it had been aimed toward one of the other's in the Jedi's group. To be certain, they hadn't come here looking for a fight.

They'd come here looking for wildlife.

An exploration of the ecosystem on Cholganna, which was home to some of the most unique species that the Nautolan Knight had ever encountered -- including an arboreal octopus that lived up in the trees. It was something that would give the young squidling -- Nyt -- something tangible to focus on, rather than just reading about words on a holopage.

And it got Zak out of the Silver Temple.

Not that the Silver Temple was a bad thing. But, still, the idea was that they'd go to Cholganna... Izama could help Nyt explore the forest. Zak could take a walk in the woods with his favorite girl...

...and pirates could be raping the natural world while caging animals for sale to the Hutts.

Really? Really, people? THIS is why we can't have nice things.

It was supposed to be his day off, and what was he doing? Was he making out with [member="Jericho"]'s daughter under the willow tree? No. He was not. At the moment, he was applying his foot to some random Trandoshan's face, before following through with a powerful, backhanded forearm sweep that had propelled the reptilian alien right into a tree.

Taking a step back, the young knight swept his lekku back with a jerk of his head. A patched up Tachyon freighter was preparing for take-off, as the pirates began leaving their brethren behind in a mad dash for the loading ramp. Rearing back for the pitch, the Nautolan Knight let his lightsaber fly through the air. The blade scored across the left side of the engines, before returning back toward its master.

The curved handle slapped back into the knight's palm. Turning his head, Zak ignored the freighter as it began to lift off. "Everyone okay?" he asked, looking around the group.

ADM. Reshmar

Directorate Officer Fleet Admiral SJC 3rd Fleet
Reshmar sat in his quarters reading news from the operation in the caldera trying to make sense out of the fleet operations and maneuverings of the Sith Order. The sporadic fleet deployment and the use of hyperlanes seemed odd to him somehow. He had been looking over the reports and summaries of the battles and one thing puzzled him. How did they get into the region without detection and so swiftly. He had spent the better part of the two day trip from Mon Cala to Hast looking over the data then going back and redoing it all again. Reshmar sat the pad on the desk before him and closed his eyes to rest. It seemed like he had not slept in days. He and the crew of the Mon Jortan has returned to Mon Cala to find the Jedi planning to send forces to Hast to assist in the effort to stabilize the system. Now he and his small battle line moved to the headquarters of the Directorate to aid in the effort. Reshmar opened his eyes and opened a channel on his desk transceiver.

"Con Update" said Reshmar over the open channel to the CIC. a second passed and a COMM officer replied.

"Admiral, We will be dropping out of hyperspace in ten minutes." said the communications officer. Reshmar stood and straightened his tunic and spoke.

"Very well I will be there in a moment. Have the Captain prepare for a rapid deployment once in system. I want a full defensive perimeter in place" ordered Reshmar. He knew Mosses would have one already there and active. Ans he was sure the Jedi would have their own defensive line in place. He was deploying his force more as a show of unified support for the Jedi. It was a good thing for them to take Hast under their protection. It meant The directorate would be free to deploy more elements into the field and protect more of the galaxy from the forces of darkness.

Three
formations of Kiribian vessels dropped out of hyperspace, all led by Suravi. The first and largest formation appearing at a lunar Lagrange point within the far orbit of Hast. It was a mix of large freighters, and some capital ships for escort. The freighters carried parts to construct a series of rigs for Kiribian System Armory's first major shipyard. Due to the presence of Mandalorians in adjacent sectors near Kiribi, the administration had found it prudent to build the new shipyard within the relative safety of Silver space. Not only was Hast next door to Voss, but it was also the headquarters of the Directorate. Nothing short of a full invasion fleet was taking the system.

The second formation arrived closer to Hast, mostly assault carriers and shuttles to deposit personnel to the surface to provide security to the sister facility being built planetside. They passed near the Aurora shipyards on their way down, flashing Solan's vessels with several active scans from their targeting arrays. Suravi's special way of greeting the accomplice of the Mandalorian Crusaders and the Black Ties. She would never forget his role in that massacre, and she wouldn't let him forget it either. Justice would someday prevail. In the meantime, she'd allow the weasel to play guard dog for Aurora in peace. As long as he remained in his corner, then everything would be just peachy.

Along with working on the new KSA plant, personnel from the GR were also present to assist the Silver Rangers in expanding a joint base for all the allies of the Silver Jedi. After the mess on Korriban, Suravi would ensure that the base would be adequately defended by long range AA systems and dedicated shielding.

The last formation was destined for a testing range at the outer rim of the system. KSA was there to test its first indigenous fighter design, meant to replace the Kiribian Spacey's current inventory of export starfighters. It was part of a major shift of the company to transition from simply being a supplier of components and refit packages. It was a good time for the expansion, as the Galactic Alliance and other powers were currently on the lookout for new hardware to upgrade their fleets. While better known for its biotechnology,
Kiribi hoped to join the club of galactic shipwrights. It would begin at Hast.

((To any GR peeps that join this, you'll be helping me on the surface with the base, and perhaps running some exercises with the Rangers. We'll probably have some mock incursion with stand-ins for Mandos or Sith.))

Hast System - Aboard the Skyborn
Solan watched them, listened to any messages sent through his comms officer and with everything done and over with he sighed and leaned back, sitting there with his face dropping to a frown. He was tired and soon his eyes were drawn to the woman beside him as she looked down at him. The captain of his flagship since the days of the Shadow Empire, Nida Vaal. She was named after her ancestor from what he had been told, a woman who had ruined the revolution against the lost tribe. It was an interesting story but that's all it was anymore, the reality of that situation lost for nearly six thousand years.
"Sir... you really should sit up. It is rather embarrassing should someone see you like this." Her violet eyes focused down on him with her normally strict gaze softening a bit. She always seemed to insist he act more like a king, and his response was usually to pull out a drink or a flower in response.
Neither being done this time though as he looked back up at the woman. "My apologies my dear Captain."
He was in no mood to act in his normal ways, today was already long enough and now he was trapped on this ship, forced to wait until everything was handled. Of course, he had an interest in things himself, most of his income coming not from kesh but instead from Aurora. A world nationalizing their shipyards would mean a paycheck lost for him and he would rather not interrupt such. His thoughts were interrupted though as he felt a quick change in emotion from the woman beside him.
"Sir. At least sit up if you are going to apologize. Look somewhat presentable." He would humor her, doing so and straightening up as he sat there.

Akio Diachi

For it was All but a Dream
Objective: BYOO
Post: 3
Location: Some small village

As the speeder rolled along, Akio half-lay half-sat on the hay around him. The countryside was beautiful in its own way. There were rocky outcroppings amid the rolling untouched grasslands. Wild Nerfs and nanus looked up with dull, glazed eyes of surprise as the speeder rolled through the dirt road. Akio didn't know how long it took them, but it felt like hours before they arrived at their destination. But Akio wasnt' in a hurry, he was savoring the gorgeous lands around him.

After some time, the speeder stopped and Akio pushed himself out. He looked around, they were at some sort of warehouse where several silos were clustered. Cargo crates of grain-like substances were laying about. The Chiss took it all in, sensing around himself for life. He was surprised to feel no others.

"What the Sam hill?!" shouted the foreman who had led the others in loading the speeder. He drew a hold out blaster, "Hands up, ya freak!"

Akio raised his free hand, not relinquishing his monk's spade, "Sir, I mean you no harm--"

The man fired a shot, Akio reflexively swatted it away with the broad side of his spade. The Chiss twisted on his heel, back-kicking the blaster away. "Please, sir, I am here to help, I am a Jedi."

"Ugh, Jedi, huh? We don't want your types round here. We ain't got no cities to bomb out anyway or nothin'."

Akio quirked an eyebrow, "I am here to help, I heard that there was local trouble happening."

"Yea? Well maybe you should go some other town to terrorize. We don't want your type here."

The Pilgrim could feel the others trying to sneak up on him in the back of his mind, "What is it going to take for you to believe that I am here to help, sir?"

"Maybe you could start by dyin!"

Akio felt the tang of anger and fear and rage that preceded their attack. Guided by the Force, the Pilgrim twirled his spade as he turned to face them. A scythe bounced off the spade, caught along its shaft, the Chiss easily removed it form his opponent's hands with a twist of his wrists. Another swung with a club at Akio's head, he dodged with a side-step around the man's body, kicking the club from his hand. He brought the crescent end of the spade around in an arc that swatted a vibroblade from a fourth farm hand's grip. As the blunt end of his weapon came down, Akio rammed it into the ground, pulling and twisting off it in an acrobatic round double-kick that managed to shove the last hand away.

"Enough!" Shouted the foreman. The hands around Akio froze where they were and the man took several steps forward. "Look, I don't know who or what you really are but, you fight like someone who could actually do some good. The people here, they are poor, and the mayor, he can't do much about it. But there is this man who lives here. A priest they say. Someone who can do some amazing stuff like you, but he's old, older than dirt. You should talk to him, he lives up in that cave over there," the man pointed to one of the nearby rocky hills, "He will know what to do with you. Or what you should do."

Willa was looking at them, there were several here now and more fo them could work as she looked bowing her head and grabbing her helmet while watching Connor sign off. They had all been working on more of the things as she saw some of the there on the screen. All of them were moving forwards when she turned. "All rangers, assemble and prepare yourself, we are going to be testing the prototype and heading towards the planet to help out the others where they need it. All weapons are to stay holstered unless we are attacked first and even then use stun setting." She was looking at it and started organizing on the screen as she crossed her arms. They could practice with the ship, it was being developed with the purpose of being able to get over and hold a planet which while for now no weapons were installed it could still move and preform its actions as it was opening up. Presenting the interior hanger that was obscured when it was coming towards the world and deploying dropships with hardlight projectors to set up the battlefield with a prefab base they ould have training droids for the republlic soldiers who had come to join them in this practice and team building.

Connor looked intently at the holo-map, but smiled as he heard Kyra’s voice already having a little dig. Holding a finger up, he finished making a sweep of the ships.

"You’re all looking good from here. Keep me informed of what’s going on down there – I’ll be your eyes and ears but there’s only so much I can see from Voss. "

He made a note of all the ships en-route to the system; those armed for a fight and those acting as transports. They were the ones to watch and make sure they didn’t become a target.

"Nothing wrong with blue milk my dear," he leaned up and turned to her, "and I meant it as a reference to this operation not being as simple as expected."

At that moment he saw it in her face.

"Hey, it’s ok," he held out a hand.

It would be the first time she’d see the horrific wound and mangled scar under his eye.

Thoja stood on the command deck of the lead vessel within the second formation. He would be coordinating the deployment of troops to various points on the planet's surface, before heading down to oversee the defenses personally. He'd mostly be in contact with Supreme Commander Teigra, however he was open to requests from others.

"Supreme Commander, awaiting your orders." He said into his comlink, having patched it through to her frequency.
