Reclaiming the Lost [CIS]

Solan wasn't sure how long the Droid thought small freighters would survive against the fire of several cruisers, but it was not long, and Solan was not even moved as he stared at the face of the droid the entire time. The only emotion he showed was curiosity and humor to which he soon explained to the droid. "Funny, I had thought droids were incapable of emotion. It seems I was wrong... none the less, you and your men will die here, in your defense of the world I have no reason to threaten or remain over after this. The Corporate entities that control this world will resume their control of it and you will be space dust Droid."

With that, he closed off communication and turned to Nida. "Inform the ground to move on from the factories with Guardia droids and any weapons they have for security purposes. They are to remove and exterminate any Confederacy personnel. Those that surrender are to be taken as prisoners and assumed the real aggressors that they blamed the lack of the defense fleet. Inform all cruisers to encircle and fire on that pest of a fleet. I don't want to see a single scrap of steel left after you begin. Oh, and do inform [member="Taeli Raaf"] that we will be wiping out these pests utterly. I'd rather not get an earful after the fact about her not knowing I am giving such orders."

Nida would nod to him and soon after the rest of his ships would begin to fire on those freighters who were dreadfully outgunned and once their engines were destroyed, the focus would be on the actual Confederacy fleet. But would soon find that his ships were spreading out to encircle him and wipe out his fleet without any hesitation. All the while Solan would remain sitting there with his eyes focused on the viewport, waiting for the droid to do whatever it was he had in his mechanical mind. If he had the chance he would certainly take the opportunity to remove and scrap that droid's brain later.

His ships were not leftovers or second rate like his personal collection. No this was an Aurora defense fleet, one that had been sent with the intent of dealing with a military presence of equal sophistication. Against the Procurator alone they would find problem but when brought into mind with the other five cruisers and the numerous support craft, this was a massacre for those Confederate fools with outdated tech. They would not fare much better on the ground either, Aurora specializing in urban combat droids, specifically, the Guardia droid which could be activated on the ground to deal with this nuisance.

He was almost bored by how simple this would be. Unless they had something that he was unawares of, it would become a massacre quite soon.

Aut-X gently clasped his hands behind his back. His stratagem had worked flawlessly. ''Alright, we've completed what we set out to do. Evacuate the fleet and enact self destruction protocols on the surface as we planned....'', the droid said confidently. His ships suddenly turned away from the fight, attempting to jump into lightspeed with all due haste, though the field made that impossible. Meanwhile, the Confederate presence on the planetary surface apparantly evaporated, as most of the droids suddenly shut down, their vehicles self-destructing after moving away from any innocent civillians. Phase one of the Super Tactical Droids plan was complete.

Unknown to Solan however, in all of the commotion, the BX-series Droid Commando teams previously deployed ahead of the invasion force had disappeared, covertly moving to hidden safe houses bought by several minor corporations with secret loyalties to the Confederacy, until they were required for duty once more. When the Super Tactical Droid's command vessel, thankfully out of range of the field, safely jumped out ahead of the fleet, he contacted his secretive master via an encoded holographic communicator. ''My lord, all went according to plan. That fool Solan carried out the role we required flawlessly, blissfully unaware of our plans.'', the Super Tactical Droid said to the hooded figure projected before him. ''Very good, Colonel. Await further instructions, and breath no word of this to anyone until the time is right.......'', the figure said, before cutting off the signal. Aut-X soon moved to sit in his command throne, pondering the day's events......

How [member="Aut-X"] jumped out to Hyperspace when solan had implemented an Interdiction field was beyond him... the other ships though would not find the same luck. He had escaped but his fleet would remain trapped by the effects of the field and the quickly approaching fleet that was encircling them. Solan was more determined to cut off the droid's forces before he could further try and act like the embarrassment of an artificial mind that it had been constructed to be. Tactical droids were ones that Solan had assumed were much more impressive beings, but this one was nothing more than what seemed like a droid in need of a memory wipe and some work down on its brain to fix that self-preservational attitude.

Solan had always told his enemies one thing. It was the singular thing he was known for and that was that he would allow those to surrender. But to spit on his face was something he found a rather sizable annoyance too. His ships would not stop, aiming for the engines first and then the bridges of the ships the droid had brought with it. Solan simply didn't care now and he would find out what happened to the defenses of the planet after all of these pests were dealt with.

Thankfully, the droid made securing the streets easier. What turned would have been a battle was now a mass repurposing mission. The droids would be collected up by the various companies which control Hypori and likely redistributed into the production lines after they've been melted down and remade. Hell, he was sure that those like Draco and Isley would be more than happy about the rather nice collection of free metals. As for Aurora itself, it meant they could output a great deal more droids for essentially free now.

Maxerian's Ginvex-Class Starfighter gently glided as he watched outwards on the mess that was about to unfold. Sending in cargo freighters of medical supplies and other aid was an interesting move just as it was another interesting move to destroy them right in the face of a rebuilding suicide. Political Suicide, maybe but it got the point out loud and clear at least to the Mustafarian. Being a bounty Hunter he quite understood doing things that others would deem unsavory all to accomplish your mission so he had to give this Commander of the other fleet some credit. He shook his head though getting back to the problem at hand which was the enemy fleet now encircling the CIS ships.

"Curious," Maxerian spoke to himself. Inside his own personal vessel he pushed a few buttons and flipped a few switches, as he turned on the Spaceships offensive systems. The Intrigue was a curious little ship. Back during the days of the clone wars not many owned a Ginvex. Generally it was given to high-ranking CIS officials. So when Maxerian came across one among the ruins of other old CIS structures and tech on his home planet of Mustafar he was ever-so pleased to refurbish and bring the ship back to its former glory. He gently steered his ship in such a way that he glided closer yet still kept some distance from the CIS fleet as the other fleet came close.

"It looks like you have a major problem on your hands," Maxerian spoke through his Com, to the CIS ships. "I hope your vessels still hold the fire-power that old Confederate ships did," He wasn't sure if they planned on fighting or if they had some other plan up their sleeve that he didn't know about. Either way things looked like they were about to get real feisty real quick. He postulated possibly trying to infiltrate the enemy's main ship to sabotage it from the inside though that thought process stayed close to the back of his mind for now. The main point he thought to himself though was he had to make sure he survived, so he always kept an eye out for possible retreat spots.
