DESCRIPTION

The brave men and women of Salvage Team Six, Mahporeem's premier special operations unit, have long had access to a wide variety of different weapons, equipment and armor sets, allowing them to partake in a number of mission profiles that would be considered impossible for standard troops. However, even these elite operators often express dissatisfaction with the equipment they are issued, leading to an ever expanding arsenal for these men and women.

One of the armor sets developed for them is known as Reclaimer-class ARC Trooper Armor. Having incorporated feedback from the men and women of Salvage Team Six, Reclaimer-class ARC Trooper Armor is designed to protect its wearer from all manners of different threats, including what is known as "primary threats": blaster fire, kinetic impacts, slugthrower rounds and even lightsaber strikes. Reclaimer-class ARC Trooper Armor also provides decent protection from "secondary threats", including shrapnel, sonic blasts, environmental conditions and even ION/EMP pulses.

Reclaimer-class ARC Trooper Armor also includes a number of innovative features from pre existing armor designs, such as the Whipcord Launcher seen on Salvage Trooper Armor and the kneepads and leg defenses seen on Tempest-class Storm Commando armor. The use of pre existing armor components on Reclaimer-class ARC Trooper Armor helps to keep total cost and manufacturing time down, as this armor is some of the most expensive armor issued by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant.

The name of the armor comes from the name of the first squadron that it was issued to, Reclaimer Squadron. It is hoped that the use of this armor, alongside the other "elite" armor sets produced by Mahporeem will enable Salvage Team Six to combat any conceivable threats that it may face in the field.
