GENERAL INFORMATION
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Availability: Rare
  • Deployment: Minor
  • Strengths & Weaknesses:
  • Light Infantry: The Air Assault Companies are a light infantry unit and move much more swiftly on the ground than other units
  • Shock and Awe: The Air Assault Companies are designed to hit hard and hit fast and therefore are most suited to this type of operation
  • Vertical Warfare: With the VT-Assault Armors jetpack the Air Assault Companies are well versed in the concept of vertical warfare as well
  • Lack of Heavy Weapons: Because of their status as as light infantry unit the Air Assault Companies lack the heavy weaponry of more standard infantry units
  • Prolonged Combat: Due to their shock and awe nature and tactics the Air Assault Companies are ill suited for static warfare and holding large territory
  • Description: The Air Assault Companies were designed to give the Rebel Alliance a vanguard unit to be the tip of the spear for any ground assault that they might initiate. Unlike the normal infantry of the Rebel Alliance the Air Assault Companies are given extra training in the use of things like jetpacks and quick assault tactics. You know that a assault by the Rebels are serious when the Air Assault are deployed.

Hello there,

Alright, because of the use of several limited production items, you'll need to drop availability to rare, but since you want to deploy these units as companies, deployment should be bumped up to minor. Limited deployment is better suited for squads or platoons.
