STRENGTHS

• Lord Almighty - With zero of its weapons bearing a real heavy punch, the Rapax requires big ship support when engaging larger escorts and especially capital ships.
• Brace - Not only does it lack offensive firepower, but also extensive defenses to deal with turbolaser and similar heavy fire for extended periods of time.

DESCRIPTION
The Rapax-class Escort Corvette is designed to provide efficient and simple anti-starfighter firepower to larger capital ships. Equipped with a large array of small weapons, it is capable of fending off starfighter squadrons while the capital ships take care of those ships which aim to harm the Corvette.

Instead of speed, the Rapax relies on maneuverability to maneuver around the ships it is meant to protect and put its full strength of arms to bearing as best as possible. It is not meant to chase starfighters away or prevent them from reaching the target, but to destroy them when they are busy with the target with fast tracked and rapid fire guns.
