Radiant Light Alkahest Emporium

Radiant Light Alkahest Emporium is now open for business!

What is 'Alkahest'?
In simple terms, Alkahest is Light-Side Alchemy. Using the Light Side of the Force to imbue items or creatures and provide benefits for them. Unlike Sith Alchemy, our items do not twist, destroy or damage, but protect, aid and assist.

What can you do?
At the moment we're still starting out, so only basic items. However, as our skills develop we will be able to create more complex items.

Who can buy?
Only those who are Jedi, or are known allies of the Jedi may purchase our goods. Those who use the Light Side are the only ones who can get the most from our items. Those who use the Dark will not be permitted.

Any other requirements?
You must provide all materials for me, and work with me to create the item.
(OOC: You must be willing to do a dev thread and provide any restricted materials.)

Do you offer other services?
Yes, we have specialised services even for those who are non-Force sensitive, such as healing and disenchantment of Dark Side items.

Where do your profits go?
All profits after expenses and upkeep go to the Jedi Order.

Product List
NB: Members of the Jedi Order have their expenses for below covered, each case approved by myself.
(OOC: After they are first ordered, dev threaded and approved in the factory, links will be added for submissions.)

Master Alince's first customer would be...an officer in the Eldorai Angelii. This writer is not sure whether Captain Taldir had been promoted yet, but whatever. Perhaps not the sort of customer the librarian had expected, but presumably the Alkhatest toys would work for Kaida since she was neutral. Well, she was Neutral Stoic!

So after browsing the list of artefacts that Master Alince offered, Kaida finally decided to order a Ring of Mental Resistance, likewise noting her readiness to provide the materials, aid in the construction of the item etc. Needless to say this investment would leave quite a hole in her pockets since sadly she did not belong to the Eldorai aristocracy and thus actually had to be careful with her money, but it seemed well worth it to her.

Veino couldn't help but think that the Ring of Heroism, while certainly useful, was also a bit pretentiously named, and given his past and what he had realized about himself, was not great for his mental health. There were already lots of issues that he was deliberately pretending to not exist, but they'd come back sooner or later to bite him.

A ring of protection though? That could be useful. Especially given his history of losing every fight he managed to get into. That could be used to throw up a protective barrier over a larger area than he was capable of doing himself, and in theory at least, protecting more people. He considered, and then sent the order.

The ring will only increase your own abilities, it will not create the barrier wholly on its own. If that is fine with you then we can do a dev thread to create it together.

I can do one Dev Thread at a time. First one to post here ready to go gets first pick. The slower, I fear, will have to wait a couple of days.

Thank you for your interest! :)

I've finished a few threads. Did you want to do this dev thread now?

Location can be of your choice so long as it has a forge. Preferred is Ossus, but can travel to Mandalore territory if that's better for you.

I would like a knife that hurts Sith more than the normal amount when i stab them...for a friend.

Hmmph, I think my dear you would do better looking amongst those same Sith.

I would not create a weapon to cause more pain than is necessary.
