WEAKNESSES

DESCRIPTION
Designed by Miyoung of the Commonwealth and funded by Junko and Shoma. The young and brilliant mind was in charge of their more advanced forms of study and looked towards a combination of science, mystical aspects like the force and most importantly mythology not just from Atrisia's past but also from a number of other areas of the galaxy. After the most recent attack Miyoung looked at ways they could deny and protect in a multilayerred, multi stage way. From the breaakwater itself and that distance to the system, to the orbit of the planet and eventually on the ground. This system focuses on controlling the battlefield itself. The Quicksand Fortress Geomorphic Emitter is a strategic area-denial system designed to control the battlefield by weaponizing the ground itself. By utilizing advanced harmonic resonance emitters and a coordinated AI, the system temporarily destabilizes soil and rock, transforming solid terrain into impassable, mobility-killing viscous morasses on demand.

After reading this submission over. It reads more like a stub instead of a true submission. So i'll be sending this back to the Prefactory. It needs to be fleshed out a lot more before I can accurately review it.

Thank you! In this case I have some issues and concern with these:

• Defensive Moats: Creating impassable liquid trenches around friendly fortifications.
• Kill Pits: Instantly destabilizing ground at pre-designated chokepoints or breaches.
• Pinpointing Hardpoints: Selectively destabilizing the ground beneath enemy heavy armor, siege weapons, or fixed emplacements to cause them to sink and malfunction without wasting energy on broader areas.

These are too much to a mass-production.
What the "impassable liquid trenches" meaning? Is it impassable on foot or is it impassable in every way?
I feel the Instantly destabilizing is too quick especially if we don't know the dimensions. And what is the largest area to this?
And to the last one, what is the range of the whole thing, can it cover a whole battlefield or just parts of it? How long does it take? Does the opponent have a chance to get out of the way, or if it moves, does it follow them, etc.

That is fair, I am happy to answer and make edits as needed to keep mass production if possible.

To answer this and give an idea I would ask if you remember the cinematic classic Dungeons and Dragons. It holds stable for a little while as one passes over it and then they would start to sink into it.
It would be for traps and stopping infantry in selected areas (streets, mountain passes, hallways)

I feel the Instantly destabilizing is too quick especially if we don't know the dimensions. And what is the largest area to this?

The largest I would say is a decent sized hallway/street width wise. Two land in most situations but it wouldn't be a massive area. Being used for traps and to impede it isn't going to stop repulsor tech hovering over it.

And to the last one, what is the range of the whole thing, can it cover a whole battlefield or just parts of it? How long does it take? Does the opponent have a chance to get out of the way, or if it moves, does it follow them, etc.

It is not instant and the range is not a whole battlefield. At best two-lane street size or used like a moat. As for timing us they would feel themselves sinking after a few moments and it would be where they were in it. (if they rushed into the middle vs stepping on it and pausing after a few feet. Ingenuity for getting out of quicksand traps have several cinematic ways to get out
