STRENGTHS
  • Fire From the Tap - This blaster uses water and converts it to firing energy, allowing a host of benefits for the weapon’s utility, namely being that ammunition is plentiful and ubiquitous. In addition, the modifications installed into the weapon give it superior damage potential over the factory variant, allowing the shooter to feasibly take down rancor-sized targets and lightly-armored vehicles. The bolt’s penetration capabilities give it the potential to overcome even the most resilient materials, including the likes of beskar and others like it. The unusual fluctuations in the bolt produced by the galven circuitry are further enhanced from the factory variant, giving it the capability to shear through even very dense, molecularly compressed tissue and materials.

  • Fast and Light - Seeking to save weight so as to allow for quicker target acquisition in fast-paced engagements, Priesse replaced many of the blaster’s components and materials with lighter alternatives. This has resulted in a weapon that not only has an extreme degree of firepower potential, but also is capable of being swiftly brought onto a target, making the rifle a deadly instrument in virtually all conditions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Capacity - Modified for enhanced damage potential, Priesse’s sniping blaster suffers an even lower ammunition capacity than the factory variant.
  • Surged - A bevy of electronic subsystems are incorporated into the blaster, including a few to aid in controlling the weapons recoil. EMP / Ion-base discharges can knock out these subsystems, thereby making the rifle marginally more difficult to control, in addition to disabling the electronic targeting aids.
  • Fortune Teller - If the rifle is fired with a misaligned prismatic crystal, the risk of an explosive outcome is very high, likely ending with the weapon going off in the shooter’s hands to potentially catastrophic effect in the event that she attempts to fire it.
  • Mechu-deru - Like any piece of technology, Priesse’s sniping blaster is susceptible to Mechu-deru and other technology-twisting powers. A talented practitioner of such esoteric sorceries could induce a jam or some other failure that might compromise the weapon entirely or demand precious time to fix, leaving the shooter vulnerable.
DESCRIPTION
Purchased from a Besalisk weapons' vendor on Malagarr, Priesse initially made use of the blaster during a mission to Gelida, where she found its utility to be indispensable. With assistance from a Crimson Order armorer, she decided to give the blaster a series of upgrades and modifications, with the goal of augmenting its power output, rate of fire, and handling characteristics. When she was finished, the blaster was significantly improved from its factory state by almost all metrics, with the notable exception of its ammunition capacity, since the clip now runs empty after only three shots. Nevertheless, Priesse was immensely satisfied with the upgrades. As a final personal touch, she had the frame repainted white, treated with waterproof coating to ensure that the weapon is not easily blemished.
