+ Turtle + The myriad of shield micropoles, and advanced cap drains aid in covering the weak spots along the hull as well as shifting the bulk of the shielding in any direction. Paired with a reinforced hull, the vessel can take a good deal of punishment and direct shield power as needed in any direction.
+ The Sharp End + The ship is full to brim with offensive weaponry, most focused on wearing down shields and hulls in quick order as proper warships should.
+ Queen AI + Not nearly as advanced as the Unique Variants, though still, the Queens aboard each are capable of linking together while within range of one another and are capable of learning from more experienced AI as such.

- Slow and Brickish - The ship lacks considerable speed in lieu of high offensive and defensive capabilities.
- ION/EMP - With the addition of the Priddy Turret Bases, the weapons attached to them can be knocked out with sufficient energy from either source.
- Queen AI - The AI have the potential to go rogue or offline in heavy Ion/EMP attacks. In rogue status, the core will need to be shut down manually, and both cases have potential loss to a large number of systems without proper crew in place to cover the formerly automated systems.

Larger vessels never truly held an interest for Niki, seeing them as large, clumsy things. Smaller vessels, mostly under a thousand meters in her opinion, could far more readily turn the tide of a battle when used correctly. As such, she set about creating another variation of her ship line for her connection to the Eternal Empire.

While the Coda served its purpose in wearing down the shielding of capital ships, she felt another vessel could also aid in that purpose. Seeing the relatively slim design of old Dreadnaught Class heavy cruisers in her search for something more, she shrugged and put it on the table. Adding some shield disrupting capabilities to the design, she mulled on the idea for a time before allowing it to pass onto trials. Sighting the smaller nose-in theory for a gunship, she also saw reason to make the vessel capable of firing to the rear for disengagement. Either scenario allows for the shielding to be directed forward or rear of the vessel for efficiency.

Got a lot of weapons for a frigate, hypervelocity and heavy turbolasers...but I see this is possible as it is dedicated for anti-capital ships. Remember though, they get final say on damage. Extreme was the only way this would have been allowed.

APPROVED!
