This will be an unpopular post (I'm assuming), but here's how I view the likes for the characters. I use it as a ratio between the amount of posts, and the amount of likes. It gives me a good baseline on who I'd like to write with (but is far from the only factor used). I won't go into more detail, because I'd end up being insulting.

I also agree. Kinda gives new people a heads up. "This guy with 6000 posts and 100 likes is being really nice to me, maybe there's more to the story..."

I voted no, because while I like likes, it seems to add an unnecessary social networking aspect that reminds me too much of Facebook, and I dislike Facebook.

tldr: I like likes but they're bad juju.

I'm here so I have somewhere to write and face the challenge of writing with others. The social aspect is secondary, though making new friends is always nice~
