- City Name: Point Besboi
- Classification: Metropolis
- Location: Rannon
- Affiliation: C.I.S. Lord Rann Thress
- Population:Moderate
- Demographics: Primarily Human and Rodian with Alien minorities, open to any and all potential inhabitants
- Wealth: Low This Colony sprang up to begin exploiting the for the most part untouched natural resources of the planet. Namely, minerals. But attempts to begin developing more archaeology inclined interests are being made to preserve the natural beauty of Rannon as much as possible.
- Stability: High Due to the as of yet low population of the planet as a whole, and the fairly concentrated population of the City, stability can generally be regarded as high. Crime has yet to be introduced to the planet, since most people being brought in to colonize are brought in specifically for work.
- Freedom & Oppression: In an attempt to bring Rannon to the galactic stage, Corporate intervention in the development of the city is high. Because of this, profit, efficiency, and exports dominate society on the planet. Freedoms are not trampled upon, the focus is just placed upon production. Value is placed upon what you can bring to the table as a citizen of the city.
- Description: With forests and trees surrounding the city, an effort has been made to clear out the surrounding areas of the city. A twenty-foot wall of Durasteel surrounds the mile-diameter city, with open sections without gates leading both out and into the city. Apartment complexes of several stories are dwarfed by a skyscraper that occupies the exact center of the rounded city. The area surrounding the skyscraper is filled with vendors, stalls, and other small storefronts such as restaurants, clothing stores, etc. intended to provide workers and citizens with everything they need to complete their jobs.
The ‘Marketplace’: A collection of small stores, stalls, and vendors strewn about the square where the Skyscraper is. This is where citizens get their needs and wants met as far as material, equipment, food, or clothing is concerned.
The Corporate Townhall: A skyscraper made of Transparisteel and Plasteel that houses the Corporate ‘government’ of the City. All town meetings, weekly briefings and debriefings, and all other concerns and issues the City faces are handled inside of this building.
The Miner’s Corner: An area of the city in the non-existent corner of the circular city. This area is filled with bars, clubs, and other luxury establishments intended for workers to relax after their day of work.
The Blocks: What makes up the majority of the city, the Blocks are the apartment complexes that the Workers and citizens of the city live in. Provided for free by the Corporate Governments in an attempt to incentivize workers to come to the Planet, these Blocks are very spartan in terms of living conditions.
SECURITY
High
Due to the recent incursions by AoC in the area, and it’s position on the edge of Confederacy space, security and military presence has been exaggerated in the area.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Following the inclusion of Rannon into the Confederacy of Independent Systems, efforts were made by Rann Thress to begin industrializing the planet. Several companies were invited with the intention to jumpstart the development of a planet that had, thus far, only ever seen sparse populations despite its relatively untouched and mineral rich resources. Point Besboi was thus created to be the jumping off point, from which the rest of Rannon could then be industrialized.
