• Description: The Imperial SpecNav Commandos are a highly elite special forces unit attached to the Imperial Navy established under the direction of Grand Admiral Marlon Sularen with the ultimate goal of providing the Imperial Navy with a vanguard force during planetary invasions while also granting them with a highly skilled and versatile trooper that can be assigned on a wide variety of missions. Often organized into small squads, the SpecNav Commandos are extremely hazardous, deceptively quiet, crafty, and skilled while also being trained in advanced hand-to-hand combat and martial arts such as Teras Kasi in addition to being equiped with high-quality weaponry making them a dangerous foe for any opposing ground forces.

• Elite Veterans | All SpecNav Commandos are highly skilled and capable veterans of war, with the first batch of SpecNav Commandos being drawn in from all sorts of veteran Final Dawn Special Forces Units while newer batches are all soldiers transferred from the Stormtrooper Corps who have proven themselves to be extremely skilled and capable on the battlefield making the SpecNav Commandos some of the deadliest soldiers within the Imperial Military given the combination of skill and experience.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
In the wake of the Dark Empire's offensive into the Deep Core, the Imperial Grand Admiral Marlon Sularen would come to the important realization that while the Empire in it's current state had appeared to gain the upper hand over it's rivals in the Core Worlds, it's position in the Deep Core and within the Galaxy at large was tenuous especially with various groups both large and small starting to act against the Empire whether they were aligned with the Galactic Alliance or not. In response to this, the Grand Admiral would proceed to begin work on further strengthening the Imperial Navy while also laying the groundwork for the creation of a major project : Shadow Hand Command.

As part of this initiative, the Grand Admiral would begin transferring many of the assets he had previously commanded as the High Regent of the Final Dawn into the framework of the Dark Empire's Imperial Navy as seen during the occupation of Onderon and the Battle over Tython. However, once the Dark Empire established a foothold in the Deep Core, Sularen would take this to the next step moving forth to reorganize these assets into new units that would operate directly under the Imperial Navy. Among these units would be the Imperial SpecNav Commandos, the direct successor to the various Special Forces units created by the Grand Admiral during the Second Great Hyperspace War such as his Elite Raptor Supercommandos and the Hellfire Squad.

Under the Dark Empire, the Imperial SpecNav Commandos would serve as a special forces unit directly attached to the Imperial Navy acting as both a countermeasure against enemy boarding parties and as a vanguard force for planetary invasions in addition to being versatile enough to carry out a variety of other missions. Through the Imperial SpecNav Commando, the Grand Admiral hopes to bring the Dark Empire one step closer towards securing it's future and ensure the eradication of all those who seek the downfall of the Empire.
