  • Hide and Seek: Outfitted with numerous sensory and scanning systems, the Viska excels at its intended function, to sniff out and detect enemies, intruders or simply common criminals or fugitives. In its use as a more military-oriented device, it is also effective at recognizing specific enemy weaponry, vehicles and aircraft, including numbers and positions, making it a useful tool for any form of reconnaissance.
  • Versatile: Capable of reaching heights in the hundreds of meters above ground, as well as utilizing six highly agile wing extensions, able to move in any number of ways, granting it fast and slick manoeuvrability, the Viska is an efficient VTOL drone able to work its way through any kind of obstacles, and search for targets, conduct recon or patrol over any number of terrains, environments or buildings.

  • Lightly Armed: Though sufficiently durable and shielded, this is largely to makeup for the drone's lack of any effective in-built weapons platforms. Only maintaining a small single-barrel blaster at the front of its face, the Viska is only combat rated for civilians, wildlife and low-level criminal threats. It is generally advised by NDD when purchasing to keep the Viska out of any potential combat where necessary.

The Viska Autonomous Reconnaissance Drone, or simply the Viska Recon Drone is a fully automated scout and patrol drone developed by a joint-team from Osato Aerospace and Nakaioma Defense Dynamics, with supplimentary support from Nakaioma-Fukashi Military Technologies, a tertiary research development team between NDD and Fukashi Electric. Named after a sentient bird from Rordak, the Viska makes use of both traditional repulsorlifts, as well as rotor blades, these two methods of flight enable the Viska to maximise efficient use of its rotors when it is close to the ground, while also not restricting its verticality with the inherent disadvantages of repulsor, gravity-based technology. Controlled by an in-built droid brain, the Viska is fully autonomous, capable of using its plethora of sensors to detect targets by sound, motion and heat, though it can also be taken direct control of by a remote operator. The physical structure of the Viska is composed of a durite-terenthium armor composite, with four extending 'arms' each with in-built repulsorlifts and rotor blades.

Enduring an unnecessarily lengthy development period due to the initially combative nature of the numerous teams assigned to cooperate on the project, the Viska was subject to a series of corporate political debates between Nakaioma Defense Dynamics and Osato Aerospace, with each arguing that they reserved the branding rights and credit for the drone. Ultimately, NDD would win out in this debate as one of the drone's first customers would be Nakaioma Security Services, a subsidiary of NDD, and given its largely security and military related role, it would be more fitting to remain under their name-- as Osato Aerospace is primarily a civilian manufacturer. A final say from Nakaioma Plaza confirmed this decision, demanding the two rival groups set aside their differences. Released onto the market as the Viska Autonomous Reconnaissance Drone, it is advertised as being inherently superior to conventional humanoid droids, given its ability of flight, and is targeted towards a security-oriented market. It has become a standard feature for most NAKAIOMA-affiliated facilities.
