SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Compatible with X-1 Subdermal Armor and YK Body Plates, will not obstruct other Fukashi-brand cybernetics.
  • Could be applied above the owner's skin, but would look rather odd as not aesthetic options are available.
STRENGTHS
  • Fireproof: At the very least advertised as such, whether or not it is technically true does not matter as it might as well be. Capable of withstanding extremely high temperature fires, the Homusubi Subdermal Fireproof Coating does not have an official melting point listed on the Fukashi HoloNet page, as in the event it does begin to lose its integrity the owner is most likely already dead.
  • Unobtrusive: Extremely light and easily applied over the owner's pre-existing Subdermal Armor due to the nanotechnology used in the process of spreading itself out over the armor, the Homusubi Coating is as agile and flexible as the product it is designed to protect, ensuring that the owner has maximum comfort and freedom of movement, just as they would if their body was purely organic.
WEAKNESSES
  • Physically Weak: Not designed to take on direct kinetic, energy or lightsaber attacks, the coating will lose its integrity and require repairs if the armor protecting it (Whether that be YK Body Plating or X-1 Subdermal Armor) fails. In an ideal scenario for all customers, Fukashi Electric recommends purchasing both and applying the Homusubi Coating in-between the two for maximum effectiveness.
DESCRIPTION
The Homusubi Subdermal Fireproof Coating, otherwise known as Homusubi Coating is a fire-resistant material layer developed by Fukashi Electric which serves as an optional addition to its X-1 Subdermal Armor series. Thanks to the use of nanotechnology in its application to the subdermal armor, the Homusubi Coating can be installed at a later date without having to go through the same extensive process as the X-1 armor. If the customer wishes to have it applied over their armor during the initial surgery, it will quickly spread across their body after being placed onto the armor as self-guiding nanodroids spread out and join together once the entire body under the skin has been covered. If they are indecisive or cannot afford the additional cost at the time of the initial surgery, it can later be applied via a series of small openings made across the customer's body, though it will take longer to complete the process this way.

Constructed from sophisticated nanodroids implanted with a series of commands to reconfigure themselves into a composite of fire-resistant materials, the Homusubi Coating provides extreme amounts of protection against fire and heat damage. Although Fukashi Electric highly recommends users purchase their pain nullifying cybernetics along with this product, as without it, any fire that does touch the owner's skin will still hurt a great deal, even if it is not causing them any internal harm. The Homusubi Coating combined with the X-1 Subdermal Armor provide the owner with what is essentially a back-up and temporary layer of skin over their body in the event they are caught in fire, extreme heat or otherwise combustible environments. Authorized only to be applied and sold at Fukashi and Fukashi-affiliated facilities, the Humusubi is popular with a variety of professional occupations in the civilian world.
