DESCRIPTION
A recent addition to the Sith Empire's military might, the Parang-type Light Repulsortank is a light skirmishing assault vehicle designed to support the larger Warblade-type and Lanvorak-type repulsortanks in battle. Being vastly smaller than both aforementioned tanks, the Parang works best as a forward recon vehicle where it can monitor enemy movement and skirmish the weakest elements of the enemy formations.
Though capable of being operated by a single driver, the Parang is at its most optimal state with a pilot and co-pilot working simultaneously, a top gunner to man the beam cannon, and a tank technician to monitor conditions and direct repairs where need-be.
The Parang was designed to provide infantry support, engage light enemy armor, and escort allied forces. The light tanks used their mix of versatile weapons to give their Legion and Sith officers tactical flexibility. They were also used for anti-armor and anti-fortification roles when paired with their larger counterparts.
