After initial acceleration by being fired from a coil launcher and clearing the barrel, the grenade is further propelled by gyrojets towards the target. Upon impact or airbursting at a range set by the launching weapon, the grenade explodes releasing a concussive wave and shrapnel in a semi-spherical wave in front of it and around the casing, leaving a forty-five degree cone to the rear clear of shrapnel to prevent impact on friendly personal.
A jack-of-all grenade, it is most effective against light and medium armored opponents and light vehicles. While it struggles against heavier armor, it is still capable of wounding, knocking down, or disabling targets, and exterior components, distracting or scoring ‘soft’ kills.
