HYPE HYPE - Just finished the open beta and after playing and playing previous betas still so much in love with the game. ​

What is Overwatch you ask? ​

​

Its a class based team based shooter. Its like a moba by the selection of heroes and such, but its based as a FPS so you're in first person mode etc. Each hero has a set of abilities and an "Ult" that charges over time​

Support​

Builders (Turrets)​

Super stoked for this game, I just think it's unfortunate that there's nothing being added to the game from the beta, like that was the whole thing. Nothing new besides a ranking system which won't affect anyone if they don't play ranked. That being said, it was nice to know exactly what I'll be getting when I buy this because it is amazing.

I mostly play Torbjorn/Mei on defense, and tracer/Reinhardt on attack.

Well more than three game types would be cool. Maybe being able to choose which game type you play? Not really necessary, but more game types for sure. I mean two of them are exactly the same except that sometimes there's a defense and sometimes it's both attack.
And they don't need a story mode to have a story, the lore behind the game is really great.

I like the way its laid out, I'd hate if we got to choose what we wanted to play because honestly some people would just pick the same thing over and over again. Takes that choice out of our hands and we have to work accordingly and change the team concept accordingly to fit the game style. I think they have enough game modes, too many and it would be a pain to actually learn all of them and memorize which map is which game type. Are you going to play ranked at all or stay casual?

I understand that viewpoint, I just feel as though it will quickly become repetitive. Which is why I so enjoy the mystery hero game type, adds a new challenge to the game.

I rather enjoy Genji, not someone I'd ever pick in normal play, same thing with McCree, but I enjoy playing them. I find Symmetra to be my worst hero, though I love having her on my team if someone else can play her.

I can't believe there's no love for Zarya in this thread. I want a woman who can break me in half.

My brother exclusively plays Zarya because she's awesome. Use her ultimate in conjunction with just about anyone else, and it is awesome.

Also, DVa + rocket boost into the sky + Ultimate = PotG!

I distinctly remember Reinhardt-tackling D.Va's ult out of my team. That was hilarious.

But yeah. D.Va's great. My issue, of course, is that I am bad, so I keep playing her the wrong way. XD

I really enjoyed the beta and I'm looking forward to it coming out. I'm wretched at it, but I had a lot of fun with it. I tried Zarya for a few matches but I couldn't get the hang of her. I tend to stick with Soldier 76 and Mei. I may not be the DPS but I can keep my team alive and protect the objective.

I'm not the best, but I was quite decent. Pretty legit support - I want to eventually learn some DPS and Tank characters but yeah.
