Capital City of Quigos, Zalelaeim

The City of Zalelaeim, a incredibly massive city, spanning 104,607 Kilometers in size, and resting entirely at the northern pole of the planet, as there is only one continent, named Euris, that dominates the northern hemisphere of the planet, with towering sky scrapers and millions of inhabitants. The structures, although massive, are incredibly different than most on other cities, the ceiling of each floor only being 1.2 Meters tall, tall enough for the native species, the Quiglings, but no where near tall enough for most of the other species in the galaxy, especially wookiees. Usually the streets are rather barren, the Quiglings sticking to the side walks as they wander around the 'City of Knowledge' as it's nickname has become, as it sports several large universities that teach a majority of the planet's population and it was here that the Quiglings invented their ability for hyperspace travel. But now, the streets are packed with celebrating Quiglings, each incredibly childish and excited as their new leader has recently been elected, High-Technomancer Sibi Virv. Only an hour ago, the population was greeted by her inauguratory speech where she spoke of her great plans for the population, the construction of a large space station for the construction of future war-ships for the protection of the people, and future trade deals with the 'Outer Rim Coalition' which would surely bring peace and prosperity to their world, and so there was much to celebrate.

In fact, the city had been opened up to their potential allies to join in the festivities. Some newly constructed structures capable of actually fitting species up to 9 feet tall, all the signs in galactic standard, and have landing pads for star craft, have recently been opened up and advertised to the Outer Rim Coalition, although it is warned that Droids and AI may not get a warm welcome due to the planet's history. All the Quiglings in the buildings, no matter their profession, are versed in galactic standard, although they cannot speak it well due to the massive differences between their original language and this new one, sounding childish and speaking in the third person, similar to gungans. And the few that wander around the city aimlessly get a lot of attention from the native Quiglings who are tiny in comparison, and they all notice one strange thing.. there are no computers, anywhere, the only computers were in the buildings built for them to land on and temporarily live in, basically giant hotels. But everywhere else there are none, and those who may have even been living on the planet by this time would know that Quiglings are incredibly intelligent, practically super computers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And in the largest of the structures, in the direct center of the city, is Sibi. She's in the Technomancer's building, sitting patiently in a large hall with a 10 meter tall roof, a large platform with several landing pads directly outside with a pathway leading into this large room.. she was hoping that Outer Rim Coalition diplomats, traders, or anyone capable of diplomatic relations would actually appear and talk to her, the soul authority of the Quigling people. Her large fingers tap nervously on the table, which has been built in proportion to the average galactic table, and she sits on a chair of similar height, so her legs are no where near the ground so they kick the air idly and her large blue eyes watch the entrance with tense anticipation.

B'kik

B'kik was sent to negotiate with the quiglings by the ORC
B'kik was surpised when he first saw the quiglings
Creatures smaller than him
B'kik entered the building which was hosting the negotiations
It was the only place that looked big un the only place where he could see computers
"Ogo-Technomancer [member="Sibi Virv"] ikee presume?"
Maybe he could get some good deals un Utinni Traded Goods un un ORC

Ooc: should state un means for and it also means and

Jim brought out his flask, and took a huge gulp, It's been years since he's been in Zalelaeim, While he had been on planet observing the negotiations take place, he was on the far side of the planet watching it from a viewscreen in a nice hotel. The negotiators typically didn't want Jim there due to his 'alcoholic tendencies'.

However now that the negotiations were complete, it was time to make things official with the ORC negotiators and take pictures and what not. Jim noticed that B'kik was running around the lobby doing god knows what. However instead of getting involved in that, Jim decided he better go get a drink in the lobby bar before doing anything else.

He walked into the bar and looked over to the bartender, "Lum on the rocks," Jim said, Lum after all was his favorite drink.

Sibi was absolutely shocked by the being that was in her negotiating hall.. No where near as tall as she remembered the 'Outsiders' being, and the robes.. and the glowing eyes? Very different.. very very different.. and a little off putting for the High-Technomancer as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her ears flattening a little as if trying to pull away.. 'No' she thought, 'this is a diplomat to our people, a good person' and so she straightened up, trying to process his speech.. difficult for her as she wasn't really a master of galactic standard either.. but quickly understanding and responding enthusiastically and with a smile.

"Yes! This one is Sibi! And who is that one?" She inquires, asking the stranger his name.

Jim would have had difficulty finding somewhere actually big enough for him to drink and stand comfortably, but after wandering around a good bit he would have finally found a suitable bar, which also supported Galactic Standard. The Bar was very clean, very well kept, and only the stools next to the counter were his height, all the other furniture is tiny, almost like doll house furniture.

Upon asking for "Lum", the bar-tender, who surprisingly isn't Quigling but rather a human woman, nods and pours him a mug and sets it before him, after which she glanes around at the dozens of eyes who stare intensely at them, probably their first time seeing someone who isn't Quigling like them, and probably the reason why they're at this bar in the first place.

"Ikee am B'kik emperor of Utinni Traded Goods. Ikee am here to negotiate a waa agreement. Baa see ikee have heard baa people are very smart un ikee wish to have some of baa kind work un Utinni Traded Goods. Ikee offer baa 2 WAS un 100 Jawas to help train baa people in the use of a WAS. The WAS is a weaponised troop and supply transport. It is able to hold up to 500 jawas un still has enough room to put tons of supplies , imagine how useful this vehicle would be un the defence of baa planet. All ikee ask is that baa sends 50 of baa least techno phobic scientist."

B'kik places down a datapad showing what a WAS looks like. B'kik was sure the Deflector shields and Cannons were more advance than any weaponry the quiglings had at loo point in time.

Sibi's eyes go wide as she sees the mechanical 'masterpiece' before her, her large blue eyes shifting between the Jawa before her and the WAS on the screen. "Sibi wonder what B'kik want do with Quigling scientists?" She asks, her large eyes locking with his glowing ones.

Ooc: sorry Lord Mettallum thought he was M'bwa

B'kik did a grin under his robes
He could tell [member="Sibi Virv"] was interested
"Ikee wish to use baa scientist as researchers. People call quiglings super computers un that is what ikee need. Do nyeta worry baa scientists will be able to keep in contact with baa"

Sibi thinks about this quietly.. it certainly would help with a lot of things.. "Sibi thinks this is a good idea.. Sibi agrees. Jawa people teach scientists Jawa language?" She asks [member="B'kik"] hopefully.

B'kik

The cutest capitalist thief you will ever see
Loo was gasha easy
"Hopefully"
As long as the scientists were not scared of translator droids they should learn jawa trade language easily
B'kik put another datapad down
"Please sign here un here un here"
B'kik was pretty happy that the Quigling didn't even attempt to bargain for a better deal since that meant B'kik didn't need to edit the contract on the datapad.

Naive Sibi goes ahead and signs her name in Galactic Standard.. a little sloppily though. "When will WAS arrive?" She inquires curiously

She asks [member="B'kik"]

Sibi is very confused by this, clearly not understanding "What.. are those numbers?"

"Baa know Po, Ko, Kyo, Yo, Dyo, Lyo, Po+Lyo, Ho, Toe un Kisewa"
B'kik was not po to use galactic basic numbers.
He used jawa numbers to allow him to underpay or easily change agreements

She counts these out in her own language before giving a brief but vigorous nod "Sounds very good! Sibi find scientist, after parties."

The alien diplomat looked like a kid, but a lot of dangerous species did too. As Jorus walked into the chamber, he bowed in her direction and approached respectfully. What she was doing with a Jawa and a datapad was anyone's guess and none of Jorus' business.

"Greetings, your Excellency," he said. "I'm Captain Jorus Merrill, a Judge of the Outer Rim Coalition. Your city, Zalelaeim-" He pronounced it ZAH-lil-LAY-im. "-is gigantic. It's fascinating."

Sibi's eyes go to the man who's just entered the colossal chamber to her eyes, but probably an average sized diplomatic chamber to his.

"Yes, Quigling people take pride in Zalelaeim!" She replies enthusiastically, sounding like a kid as well. She, however, doesn't get up from her seat at a large round table that takes up the center of the room, set up for diplomacy, although it is barren, only a white table-cloth decorating it's surface. But along the walls hang great white banners with a strange symbol resembling an eye, the symbol of her regime.

Sibi motions to a nearby chair at the table saying "Please, come, sit, Sibi wishes to talk with Jorus." Whether she means that it would be more comfortable to talk closer to one another, or she can't hear him very well is hard to decide.

OOC/ Sorry for the delay - been busy and scatterbrained.

IC/ Jorus took the offered chair, which creaked under his weight. His knees bumped against the edge of the tabletop. Sibi's size and aspect and mannerisms reminded him of his daughter fifteen years back. Nevertheless, you didn't last long in the first contact business without learning to take the other guy seriously, regardless of appearance. Jorus had been in that business for decades.

"Thanks," he said. "I meant it about the city, too. I've seen a lot of worlds, and I've rarely seen one this size outside the Core Worlds. It's something special, your people's work ethic." He chuckled and meant it. "I'm here to see if I can't sell you on the idea of joining the Outer Rim Coalition, but feth, I could see you putting some lazy planets out of a job. What's your secret?"

Her eyes widen as she is asked the question, and taking a few seconds to think of an answer, her eyes wandering before she perks up and locks eyes with him again, enthusiastically responding "Quiglings must serve the family well.. no dishonor to the family or society, and laziness is disrespectful to the ancestors." She grins from ear to ear before getting serious again, her fingers drumming on the table as she shifts "Quigling people, and Sibi, can see joining the Outer RIm Coalition.. but autonomy is needed.. and we are not strong, few ships.. need resources.."

[member="Jorus Merrill"]

[member="Sibi Virv"]

"The Coalition's all about autonomy," Jorus said. "Member worlds often have custom terms of inclusion. Some of the worlds around here are plenty capable of boosting your defenses and selling you all the tech you need. Quigos is rich in the minerals that make up durasteel, and I can think of plenty of nearby governments and corporations in need of a good durasteel source. Your gems and crystals have tech applications. You've got bargaining chips and plenty of'em.

"That said, we're not interested in turning you into just a source of raw materials and a market for our goods. We're also out to help your people expand their own industry, not that you need any help. My wife and I are shipbuilders; wouldn't be hard for us to help you set up the capacity to build your own hypercapable patrol boats, with Quigling controls and life support and scaling."
