As part of the mandate of the new Concordia government, many worlds within the Silver Sphere were beginning to see increased funding for their militaries. Recognizing that not every world can afford to have the highly specialized equipment that groups like the Antarian Rangers used, Obsidian Star Technologies built an inexpensive but sturdy light combat armor system for use by planetary militias and the like. It is made up of an armorweave jacket and khaki pants with hardened duraplast plating over top. As well, each helmet visor has been installed with a version of the OS-106 "Oracle" Portable HUD and Scanning Device as well as a standard-short range encrypted comlink.
