- The Gleaming Guard operates as an expert security force for the InterGalactic Technology Union and individuals who hold significant importance in terms of corporate influence. Each individual is assigned a complete squadron of guards, although additional reinforcements can be called upon as needed. The combat strategy employed by this organization combines elements of Special Forces, Counter-Insurgency, and Guerilla Warfare Tactics, rendering them highly effective when facing off against well-trained military units. However, their presence on the battlefield is a rarity unless their assigned charge is actively involved in warfare. In situations where they are attached to a professional military unit, they serve as an exceptional support force, complementing their capabilities.

The Gleaming Guard was established by the InterGalactic Technology Union using abducted Ashlan Crusade Civilians for a specialized mercenary initiative led by the morally corrupt Thaddeus Wyndham. These individuals were forcibly turned into cyborgs in one of the company's underground labs and underwent rigorous training by former special forces members to prepare them to confront even the most formidable military adversaries.
Their primary objective is to function as an Elite Protection Detail for high-ranking individuals within the corporation, such as Aligned Crime Lords and Financial Benefactors. Additionally, they are deployed as an Elite Mercenary Unit available for hire by those seeking their services for tasks like assassination and gang conflicts. Despite this, their ultimate allegiance lies with the InterGalactic Technology and they will not hesitate to eliminate their target if instructed to do so by the company.
