- There's very little ORACLE doesn't see in regards to New-Imperial operations. It is capable of processing information at an unparalleled rate in order to make calculations and relay advisory suggestions to New-Imperial command structures. In situations where ORACLE is deferred as the commanding officer, such as domestic patrols and/or guard details, their efficiency and effectiveness has been observed to raise by up to a factor of ten. ORACLE's advice in combat situations in invaluable to those that heed it.
- BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU
- A massive, far-seeing artificial intelligence has raised many questions and concerns among New-Imperial citizens. Few people are comfortable with ORCALE's existence, and is often used as an all-encompassing boogeyman by progressive circles.
- JUST A MACHINE
- ORACLE's pragmatism is often detrimental to the lives and well being of the cogs within the New-Imperial machine. It is no replacement for an organic command structure with ethics and empathy. It does not have an infallible ability to find the best outcome, only the most efficient, thus organic oversight is required to keep the AI running and in line.
ORACLE is a COMPNOR projectet initially designed for use in anti-insurrection on the Imperial homeworld of Bastion. It has slowly expanded into an invaluable tool used across several avenues of the Imperial machine. ORACLE can do anything from strategy, intel, and casualty assessment, to public service, propaganda, and social monitoring. It blurs the line between surveillance and service, which is often a point of contention from COMPNOR detractors and progressive circles. While much pushback against ORACLE's expansion exists, it has done little to hinder COMPNOR's proceedings on the project.
To keep up with COMPNOR's ideals of nationalism, measures have been taken to ensure ORACLE cannot replace the organic-driven structure of the New Order to preserve the image of the hard-working Imperial serviceman. Fears of total replacement still crop up from time to time however, especially when ORACLE is the object of conversation.
