I believe me and Zambrano are the only two left fighting in the first round. I apologize that it has taken this long to allow you folks to move on to the next round, I have taken a ridiculously long time writing out my posts because I'm a finicky bastard and wanted them to end up just right. The duel should end in the next 24 hours, so I wish the folks that go on to the next round good luck.

I have to apologise most profusely. I foolishly didn't read the rules and committed to participation regardless. Had I read the rules, I wouldn't have signed up as I know I can't comply with the 24-hour rule over week-ends as I have RL issues that must always come first.

As a result I have effectively given Sage Bane a bye into the next round - and so feel really bad for the other three competitors who should haven been given the opportunity to fight him.

No excuses - I feel absolutely rubbish about it and can only say sorry again

Good point and I 100% agree. But I didn't stop participating, it was just a real-life issue that meant I missed the 24-hour window. I carried on posting. And as I posted last, it's up to my opponent [member="Sage Bane"] to move it forward if he wishes. In fact he said he was quite happy to waive the 24-hour rule given my circumstances - but of course it wasn't his call
