One big 'happy' family

"Jak..."

A voice called across the incineration camp as Sith lady Circe Savan noticed an exceptionally familiar body that had just been dropped. He was unconscious, which made things all the worse. Picking him up, she carried him over her shoulders, fireman-style, to her speeder, placing him inside it and sending a message via datapad to the Emperor himself, @[member="Kaine Zambrano"].

"Care to meet my ex-husband?"

Kaine had heard Circe mention her ex-husband before, although he himself had never seen or met him personally. However; Kaine was never one to pass up a chance to inflict pain on two people at once, whether that pain was physical or emotional. So he traveled to one of his Death Camps stationed on Iego to meet this 'Jak Sandrow, flanked by two of his Blackblade Praetorian Guards. He himself was wearing a traditional Sith robe with his lightsaber fastened to his belt. When Circe came in sight he called out to her, "Let me see him, Circe. Let me see this 'Jak'."

Raising an eyebrow, Circe took the half-Vinithi out of her speeder, placing his arm over her shoulder as she helped him towards the Emperor. "Ah... He's still a good peon, even if he and I aren't exactly in the best of standing with one another. Besides, I know how much you love feeding off of torment, and considering my position as your mistress... Perhaps we can have a little fun with him."

Fun indeed.

Kaine suddenly grabbed the unconscious Jak by the chin and pulled his face upward so he could inspect it well. With a disgust filled sneer he let go of the man's chin, letting his head fall back down. "Put him in a holding cell, and wake him up in five minutes." Kaine said as he motioned to one of the containment bunkers rising out of the surrounding cliffside nearby, motioning for some of the guards nearby to help escort Circe down into the dungeons. "I'll be down momentarily to... evaluate our new prisoner."

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

"Very well." Circe took Jak down to the holding cell, then stepped aside, standing near the door as she waited for him to be woken up. It would be interesting to see just how Kaine intended to torture him.

Emotionally or otherwise.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Blllleeaahhhhh..." Jak said, finally coming to. "Who dropped an anvil on my head this time?"

He was not on his ship.

That fact sent a surge of adrenaline through his body, waking him up instantly. He sat up, looked about, saw one person. Circe.

"Circe? The hell is going on?" he asked, attempting to get up, but the pain in his head forcing him back again. "Aagh. What happened...?"

@[member="Circe Savan"]
@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

"Just relax, darling... Everything will be better soon." She smiled, her concern showing ever so slightly. "You're in a holding cell. The Emperor is interested in meeting you, and unfortunately, you have no real choice but to oblige. Now, shall we wait for him?"

She smiled, eagerly awaiting @[member="Kaine Zambrano"]'s arrival.

@[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Soon enough Kaine himself would appear at the end of the hallway leading to Jak's holding cell, and would slowly stride all the way to the threshold of the cell. "So, you are Jak Sandrow? Circe mentioned you once or twice in passing... I would introduce myself, but I am confident you know exactly who I am." He clasped his hands behind his back as his predatory eyes bore into Jak like a fierce Vornskr staring down cornered prey. "So tell me, Mr. Sandrow... Why exactly were you attempting to do before one of my servants apprehended you?"

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak managed to get to his feet by the time Kaine got near. "Yeah," he said, gutturally, his voice hoarse. "I know who you are." He spat on the floor to his left, never breaking eye contact.

Mistake no. 1.

He couldn't hold it long, and he broke off contact, pacing like an animal. He could see no reason to lie. "I was attempting to hunt down Circe. Why? Can't I say my final goodbyes to the person who made me the man I am today?"

@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]
@[member="Circe Savan"]

Kaine laughed, "The man you are today? Quite pathetic if you ask me, battered and bruised in a Imperial concentration camp on some light-forsaken world, she's been quite the role model." He smirked darkly and looked over at Circe, "Well, Savan? Do you have anything you want to contribute to our little chit chat, or are you going to just sit there like a stick in the mud?"

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

"He could be useful." That was the small bit of what she was willing to say. "He's a tech junkie, would fit perfectly in R&D. Particularly the D. But I digress. What would you like to see done with him?"

Silently, she didn't want to see Jak eliminated. She did care for him somewhat, and besides, he could still be useful.

@[member="Jak Sandrow"] @[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

"Oh, a tech junkie? Please... I have agents that could run circles around this pathetic piece of filth. He deserves to burn in the furnaces with all of the other undesirables I have shambling out there like walking corpses, but I do believe he's earned a special little hell down here." Kaine smirked most savagely and peered intently at Jak from the otherside of the cell, and said in a voice dripping with malicious venom, "Do you still love Circe Savan, Jak Sandrow?"

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
He was pacing around like a caged animal - which wasn't far from the truth.

As he turned to answer Kaine, his voice cracked. "We -achm. Welll.... I don't even know anymore. I really don't. At one time, I suppose I did, but then she... I don't know. I guess that was when she ran off to be with you."

"Hope you're happy," he said, turning away. "Oh, and one more thing," he said, turning back. "She made me who I am. Not what my status was. Who I, my body, is. Go ahead, ask her."

@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]
@[member="Circe Savan"]

Kaine laughed again, "How pitiful. You desired this woman? It doesn't surprise me that she left you." Kaine said mockingly before suddenly grabbing Circe by the arm, and yanking her towards him. He then wrapped his other arm around her, and embraced her lips with his in a sudden fiery kiss. All the while Kaine's eyes remained fixated on Jak, as if to say 'You love her, but she is nothing but a plaything to me.'

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Circe brought an arm around Kaine's back, kissing him back furiously as the two made out in front of Jak. She was his mistress, and the woman very much enjoyed the love and affection the Sith Emperor gave her. "I still want to save him... I haven't finished my experiment with him yet." What experiment? The one to turn him into a full Vinithi, of course.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
His fists clenched as he watched the spectacle helplessly unfold in front of him.

A cold, icy grip began to gnaw at his heart, and he turned his back on the pair, wrenching his eyes away from the Emperor's powerful gaze.

"You know, Circe, you can still leave. This is only going to come to backlash you when it's all over," he said, over his shoulder. "Not like an Emperor has time for a lowly underling."

@[member="Circe Savan"]
@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

Kaine pulled away from Circe at Jak's words, and laughed again. "You're right, I don't." Kaine's hand suddenly lashed out to wrap his fingers around Circe's throat, and squeeze tightly. With his strength he lifted Circe up off the ground, and locked his grip around her throat. "Such a fragile form, despite what you and others may think. If I really wanted to, I could tear her head off with my bare hands with minimal effort. Just get my other hand in a firm hold on her upper jaw, and RIP it right off. But I don't think you'd want to see that, would you? Or would you? C'mon Jak, better say something quick. I'm getting antsy over here, and who knows what I might do."

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Jak Sandrow"]

When he grabbed her throat, she continued panicking, a growl coming out of her lips. Being a plant, and using her skin as a respirator instead of a pair of lungs, the fact that Kaine was attempting to choke her wasn't significantly affecting her at all. Of course, she wouldn't be able to say anything until he released his grasp, thus making it seem like she was gasping for air

And if Kaine actually did try to rip her upper head off the rest of her body, she would kick him in the balls.

On Umbara, Tyrin looked up from his computer, as if subjected to a sudden disturbance in the Force.

Then he vomited.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak felt like vomiting, as the situation went from bad to worse.

He had to play this ever so delicately.

Carefully, steadily, he turned back around to face the two.
"Frankly, Kaine, I don't care whether you do or not. I really don't. She's backstabbed me enough times already. So I don't care. Nevertheless," he followed, "I don't want to see her hurt - permanently. That said? Go ahead. See if I care."
