The flashing light on her console indicated a message.

Tegaea had been looking at it for several minutes, but now she reached forward and activated it. She knew who it was, and it was time to answer the call.

You're probablly wondering why I'm sending this to you, and let me tell you, it took a bit to track you down.
Be as it may, I'm sure you want to get to the nitty gritty, so here is what I'm after and offering.
A job; a well paying one at that. One that will utilize your skillset and then some. Legal mind you. Nothing under the table and everything done to keep your nose clean.
Before you decide to shut this transmission, hear me out. OMEGA PYRE is an innovative, privately-held training and security solutions provider serving government and commercial industries galactic wide, searching to spread out to the coreworlds and slowly working out way from the mid-rim. Founded in the wake of the Gulag Virus, OMEGA PYRE was initially envisioned as a training facility to support the needs of local and regional law enforcement personnel. Today we are capable of providing risk assessment, training and security solutions in multiple locations across the galaxy, reacting to need with near-immediate deployment.
OMEGA PYRE operates across the security spectrum: ASSESS, TRAIN and PROTECT.
Specifically, we specialize in:
  • Training and support for domestic and intergalactic clients
  • Personnel and facility security services
  • Mission support and staff augmentation
  • Risk management and security services consulting
  • Stability support, crisis response and forward base operations
  • Training for civilians, law enforcement and military personnel

All this and more, providing a way to not only utilize what you do best, but to pass it on. In these trying times, who's to say how many of us are left and it begs the question... What is your legacy? What are you leaving behind?
Work for me, I promise you that you will know exactly what that is. Pass on what you know, and know that it will be carried on to the next generation. Show the galaxy that you have plenty to offer, and plenty to say, plenty to pass on. Give you a reason to wake every morning with something to do other than rot in that hell hole you’re in right now.
Interested? Here are my coordinates.
I'll meet you there.

Cira.

Cira. Omega Pyre. In the galaxy recovering from a dark age mercenaries and warlords were a common problem. But here this woman was claiming to be better than that, stronger than that. Was she though, or was it all a pose?

Tegaea leaned forward and replied.

Cira,

My name is Tegaea Alcori and I am head of a mercenary company called the Dark Stars. I would like to come and meet you regarding a possible merger. When is a good time for you. I will bring all my forces, so you can see them, but I don't want to make you think you are under attack! That might cause...issues. Please reply,
Tegaea.

Tegaea was never especially formal. She was blunt and laid her cards on the table. No point dancing around the issue. Now...just to wait for a reply. It wouldn't be long, she guessed.

(Thanks to Cira for the message which is in spoilers above. Other writers, you are free to use that in your posts too!)

Erich sat within a building fully dressed in his armor. His gauntlet was present on his left hand and his blaster pistol was at his hip. On his shoulder was his Omega Pyre patch, and on his flakk jacket was his divisional insignia. He was entirely relaxed and forth coming, to anyone that approached him because for once he did not wear his mask.

The Garhoon was usually far more imposing, but for today's event he had decided to make himself a bit...smaller. He did not want to intimidate the newcomers, nor did he want to appear threatening, so calm cool and relaxed it was. He knew for sure that at least something would happen...or at the very least he hoped something would. Omega was already a quite successful company, he himself had already been sent on several dozen missions and he'd only been part of the company for three months.

There was always room for expansion and Erich was well aware of this. So in an effort to help Erich was here to signify the perfect Omega Pyre Soldier, strong, fast, well trained, and above all confidently smart.

HM wandered the halls of an OmegaPyrE building on Giju. He then walked into his room and looked out of the window, the window looked out over the water. "Today will be good" he said as his motors worked hard trying to process his emotions. It had been exactly 11 months since his first day at OmegaPyrE Services and he was proud.

It wasn't long at all.

A slender finger tapped the frequency of one Tegaea Alcori upon the comm array set on top of her polished body wood desk. She got the message loud and clear, and it was with a faint upturn of her lips that the titan haired Cira gave a curt nod of approval. Good, she mused to herself. It had taken some time to get in contact with Tegaea, and now that she finally sent a transmission, it appeared that she was willing to talk.

That is all I need, she thought to herself, draping herself into the plush black leather seat of her office. With a black heeled boot, the golden eyed woman gently spun her chair to face the massive floor to ceiling windows that adorned three quarters of her office. It allowed maximum entry for natural light, something she preferred over the faux halo lights that normally decorated an office of this stature.

While still in it's infancy, Omega Pyre had made quite a little name of itself. Legal manpower for hire, for whatever the necessity is what she offered with concrete contracts. Mainly to government entities and those who desired a bit more protection in these trying times. There were other avenues that her company supported, but those were of the kind held strictly internally and was a conversation for a later time.

For now, she simply sent a transmission back to Tegaea stating that she welcomed her arrival and that of her forces and that she would meet her personally on the docking bays of Omega Pyre tower at the appointed time.

:: Fondor

Clipped boots announced her arrival, the long fiery hair a well known identity marker for the President of this particular Private Military Contractor. She wore her usual; fitted spider silk weave black leather armor that was both light and mobile enough for armor. Oh her hips hugged a wide belt and knowing her, housed several vibroshivs in various hidden places for her protection. She was flanked by two guards, standard protocol with meeting new potential members, but as since Tegaea was brining her own forces, Cira doubted that it would be much cause of concern.

Upturning her slightly tanned visage towards the heavens, she waited as her keen golden gaze settled upon the approaching ship.

Negotiations would start soon.

Tegaea had wanted to put on a show, so she had gathered all her ships and people together for a grand procession. As they exited hyperspace near Fondor the fighters took formation and flew past the OP ships in orbit. Next came the frigates, corvettes, sloops and her biggest ship, a refitted Acclamator. Each passed by in parade formation in space before reforming and taking orbit over Fondor.
From the Acclamator Tegaea and her best and most impressive crew headed down in a transport to meet Cira. As they came in to land her crew disembarked first, forming a guard of honour for her. It was all show, to make OP think she was worth teaming up with. Though her troops were not uniformly armed or equipped they looked competent.

Tegaea approached Cira and held out a hand. "Miss Cira, I presume. Captain Tegaea Alcori, a pleasure to meet you at last," she said politely.

Well, that is one way to make an enterance, thought Cira with an amused smirk. A brow rose, well at least she travels in style, she mused as Tegaea apprached her. She did not miss the importance of the endevor, as it proved that her instincts were right. Bringing Alcori into the fold of the company would benefit them both greatly. It was just a matter of convincing Tegaea to commit.

Halfway there, she thought to herself, as the tall redhead ambled her way towards the Omega Pyre enterouage. With both of them having such fiery red hair, it was a sight to see. Two powerful women coming face to face with each other.

It was enough to probablly make the men silently wonder who would come out on top, encouraging the silent fantesies of those who dare not utter them aloud.

"The pleasure is all mine," replied Cira with a firm shake of her hand. She gave a passing glance at the honour guard, and the corner of her mouth upturned as she drew her attention back to the crimson maned female. "I take it the trip went without incident?" She asked politely, only a hint of an undeterminable accent in her voice.

A slight wave of her hand encouraged the woman to follow her as they spoke, intending to head towards the large double doors that led from the spaceport docking port towards the looming tower of Omega Pyre's Headquarters.

Erich still stood inside said headquarters calmly waiting around for the guests to arrive. Earlier he had seen Cira herself walk by which had raised some eyebrows. The Garhoon had never met the woman before, although he knew of her and her name was on his paychecks he never bothered nor had the opportunity to talk to her. He supposed it was because in the grand scheme of things Erich was just another soldier, although truthfully he was actually rather glad of that.

The Garhoon did not want fame, or glory, or anything of the sort. What he was kind of meant he had to stay away from the limelight, his after hours activities might have raised some...questions, ones that he didn't really want to answer. Erich let out a large sigh behind his mask, today was going to be a long day.

One of the men near the door signaled to him, The Garhoon nodded and then passed along the signal. Apparently the party was coming to them earlier than expect, lovely. Quickly and quietly the remaining Omega Pyre soldiers within the building shaped up. They began to work at their terminals, straightened their backs at guard positions, and began to walk around as if they had something important to do.

Erich...well Erich decided that it would be best if he stayed here within the lobby along with a few others of the “best” that Omega had to offer, just in case.

Two fiery redheads in one room. Nothing could possibly go wrong...right?

"The trip went fine. I find that when I have a cruiser in toe not many things get in the way," Tegaea said dryly.

They headed for the tower. Neither seemed the sort for smalltalk, but Tegaea kept her eyes open, looking at everything around her as she walked. The organisation and powers of OP seemed to be greater than she had imagined, though she guessed that Cira had put on as much of a display as she had. There seemed to be a lot of uniformed people diligently going about their tasks in a way which could have only been partially staged. Still, it had a good effect.

"I was very pleased when I received your message, Cira. I think that OP's goals and resources are commendable, and I am very interested. Of course, seeing as I bring in a few more bodies and machines, I was hoping we might discuss an amicable settlement, and possibly a merger."
Tegaea didn't beat around the bush by being coy, there was no point hiding her intentions.

A wry grin crept over Cira's lips and there was a knowing sparkle in her eyes that would not go unnoticed.

I like her. She enjoyed the bluntness. In this day and age with everything that has passed, there was little time to beat around the bush. Two business women such as themselves would know full well just what they are competing with.

"Of course," Cira said with an upward curl of her lip, walking over to the private turbo lift as they passed the large double doors. "Your troops are more than welcomed to rest in our rec room," a small nod towards one of the guards ensured that they would have the ability to be lead towards the area she'd suggested.

They stepped into the lift, her gloved fingers quickly pressing a quick code and providing and ocular scan. A faint smile and a sideways glance was given to Tegaea, "Can't be too careful," she informed.

"Many warlords have been eyeing our resources as of late; especially that of Thyferra." making mention of the planet whose medical resource was irrefutably valuable. Whoever oversaw the supply of bacta was very much guaranteed a powerful motivator for conducting business.

"I am glad you responded to my transmission," Cira stated simply, turning her upper torso towards her. "You are a hard woman to locate..."

Tegaea whistled to her men and pointed them towards the rec room. They gratefully broke ranks and headed in there. She could trust them not to do anything too stupid...probably.

"Whoever controls Thyferra practically controls the hospitals and surgeons of the galaxy," Tegaea replied. "Combined with Fondor you've got a good base here. You need more though, and you need more personnel. You need to be stronger than all the warlords and pirates, and you need to make the people believe that you're doing it in their interests. Easy, huh?" Tegs added with a laugh.

"I'm a difficult woman to find mainly because I never felt secure enough to sit still. This though...the profits of war. Do you think a company can effectively control entire planets, entire sectors? Either way, you'll need help I think, and that's where I come in. I'm a smaller group than you, but I've got trained troops and crew who can help Omega Pyre train and gather together a true force to be reckoned."

"We've been expanding at a steady rate to ensure that this company will effectively control and protect the planets under it's juristiction," she replied calmly.

"Nothing is ever done by half measures. " she spared an amused glance over at Teagan, "What redhead ever does?" she said with a wry twist of her lips in humor.

"But you are right, I do need help. Omega Pyre would not be where it is now if it were not for those contributing to its success." she turned to Tegean then, leaning against the wall with her arms crossing over her generous bosom.

"You wear the road well," came the familiar Corellian saying that Tegean's reputation preceeded her," The sort of decisions and choices you've made in your career single you and those under you as inovators. With purpose. "

"You've done plenty with your group, and if you do decided to merge forces with me... " she gave a pause, her gold eyes glittering with keen insight," Then you are looking at holding an equal place in Omega Pyre."

"We of the flaming hair do tend to be rather...pushy," Tegaea conceded. "But in this galaxy, where everyone is out for themselves, that's a requirement unless you want to end up at the bottom of the heap. And I, like you, have no interest in being on the bottom of the heap!"

Cira's words showed that she knew what she was doing. This woman was no ordinary sort, there was something about her. Something...intriguing. "An equal place? I would be happy to be your second in command, Cira. I think I've shown that I'm capable of the responsibility, and that I don't waste money or lives needlessly." This was not boasting, it was to her just a statement of fact.

"What are your goals, Cira? I've heard a lot about you, but very little about who you are, what your intentions and purposes are. You're not going to tell everyone, or even me that, but I want to have an idea of a goal for the future. Is it your plan to rule these sectors of space or influence them? Is it your plan to take only one side in the Sith and Republic conflict, or both?"

Tegaea was a straight shooter. She didn't muck around with platitudes. She wanted to know what she was getting herself into. Though the generous bosom of her potential employer was a positive mark in Omega's favour....
