- STRUCTURE:
- Ersteel SLCA inner compartments
- tetra-polycarbonite lamellar compound coated Alloyplast outer shell
- Coldoan copper wiring
- plasteel, duraflex mix tubing
- electrum receptor plates
- Hardware:
- Capable of holding a variety of cannisters, vials and other containments for storage and dispersement, with dual layered compartments.
- Dispersement strength can be regulated from remote control through Corecomm network
- Dispersement capable of covering an entire city block at max pressure dispersement and with completely filled compartment
- Very wide range of dispersement
- Compact design with long range communications and connection methods
- Hard to slice
- useable for a wide variety of dispersements due to universal containment unit
- Not exactly tough or robust build (though still has active shielding)
- Can't be placed underwater nor in volcanic climates
- Limited duration of dispersement depending on amount of pressure used
The NZ VDD-01 is in truth a simple idea which has been brought to fruition by the complex minds of the N&Z EnSol division. Meant as a means to disperse substances such as Bacta over a large area, this device may have many military, but also many civilian applications. It could be used for the dispersement of large quantities of Bacta in vaporous form over a large area rapidly, it could be used to disperse large quntities of sedatives over a relatively large area, etc all with the mere press of a button and from a safe distance should the dispersement material be something more nefarious.
Through the use of a Proton Mk I auxiliary droid brain and an ISW datapack communications are easy, with simple protocols being used for the device's operation. a couple of powercells are used as a means to regulate the pressure output of the dispersement as well as maintaining the vital functions of the device itself. As this device is considered to be disposable despite its clear reuse value, it is built not to the highest of the company's standards, which may end up to be a blessing, as it does lack the usual complexity of N&Z designs, ending up to be rather easy to maintain and repair.
