STRENGTHS
  • Anti-Force: The Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser has the unique ability of nullifying force powers during combat, as it is able to suck up force energy with its modified RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters
  • All angles: Two of the three RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters mounted to the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser have a 360° firing arc, allowing the ship to engage multiple pockets or areas of force energy at a time with the concentrated beams that they produce
  • Absorbent: Due to the large amount of KyberSlag Refraction Crystal that is used in the construction of each vessel, it is nearly impossible to use force powers on anyone within relatively close proximity to the RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters, though others on the ship may continue to be at risk
  • Well defended: Each Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser is heavily armored and well defended, making the ship difficult to destroy in combat
  • Long range: As far as tractor beams go, the RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters used on the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser have a rather long range, allowing them to absorb force energy from great distances
WEAKNESSES
  • Anti-Force: The Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser also affects friendly force users, and is incapable of differentiating between friend or foe
  • Slow: The Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser is rather slow moving and unmaneuverable, forcing it to rely on its armor and friendly escorts to survive in battle
  • Limited capacity: Each Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser only carries two squadrons worth of starfighters, making it vulnerable to being attacked if left unsupported
  • Limited armament: The Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser sports a rather weak overall armament, making it ill-suited for most naval engagements
  • One trick pony: The modifications done to the RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters makes the vessel incapable of using them for their intended purpose of pushing and pulling objects
  • Niche: Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruisers are essentially useless against non force users, especially considering their size and bulk
DESCRIPTION

The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant discovered firsthand just how powerful the Force could be when the Sith Order used it against them during the Imperial-Sith Wars of 902 A.B.Y. Battle Meditation, Force Lightning and Force Storm were just a few of the abilities that the Sith used against the Imperial Remnant, often to great effect. While such powers could be dealt with on the ground, stopping their usage in space proved to be a far more difficult matter.

After months of research and dozens of different prototypes, the Imperial Remnant, in conjunction with the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, were able to create the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser, a type of ship that is perhaps the first of its kind throughout the entire galaxy. Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruisers are not designed to destroy or even damage other ships, but rather to nullify the effects of force powers during naval combat.

They accomplish this through the use of their modified RT-17 Repulsor-Tractor Beam Emitters, each of which has been coated in a layer of KyberSlag Refraction Crystal. Unlike standard tractor beam projectors, which push and pull physical objects, the tractor beam projectors installed aboard the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser instead "pull" the force through them, effectively absorbing force power and rendering it far less effective.

For example, should the enemy try to use Battle Meditation, the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser can absorb the force effects of that technique, preventing friendly forces from suffering and enemy forces from benefitting from increased coordination. Should the enemy try using Force Storm, the Nullifier can absorb the force energy of said storm, rendering it far more harmless than it might be otherwise. In effect, the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser works like a giant vacuum cleaner, sucking in and absorbing force energy.

Unfortunately, such ships do come with a host of disadvantages, being rather slow, unmaneuverable, poorly armed and a priority target for enemy forces. Such ships are also essentially useless against non-force sensitive groups, making their use in battle sporadic at best. Against the right foes, the Nullifier-class Arrestor Cruiser can excel in its given role, provided it is utilized in the correct manner.

The current description of the vessel's Force nullification capability is too vague for a submission of this nature and invites unresolvable narrative disputes. The text states that the ship can absorb Force energy and nullify powers such as Battle Meditation and Force Storm but provides no defined range, area of effect, duration, or operational limit. Please revise the "Anti-Force" strength and the corresponding Advanced Systems entry to include specific, measurable parameters. At minimum, the submission must answer the following questions: What is the maximum effective range of the nullification effect, measured in kilometers or ship-lengths? Does the effect create a spherical field around the ship, or is it a directional beam that must be aimed at the source of the Force power? Is there an upper limit to the amount of Force energy the KyberSlag emitters can absorb before they require a cooldown period or risk overload? And does the effect differentiate between active, projected Force powers like Lightning or Storm and passive, internal Force abilities like precognition or physical enhancement? Without these clarifications, the ship's primary function remains an undefined narrative trump card rather than a balanced tactical tool.

The claim that the vessel's KyberSlag construction makes it "nearly impossible to use force powers on anyone aboard" requires immediate and specific limitation. As written, this suggests that every crew member, officer, and passenger on this 1,363-meter cruiser enjoys near-total immunity to any form of Force-based targeting, including long-range mental suggestions, clairvoyant observation, or direct telekinetic assault. This is an outsized defensive benefit that is not commensurate with the ship's size or role. Please clarify that this protection is localized to the immediate vicinity of the KyberSlag crystal installations or that it only functions against active, hostile Force applications directed at the ship itself, not passive or distant Force perceptions. Alternatively, state that the protection applies only to individuals physically standing within a certain distance of the emitters or the bridge, leaving the rest of the crew vulnerable. A blanket immunity statement for the entire vessel is not approvable in its current form.

The "All Angles" strength, combined with the undefined range of the nullification effect, suggests that a single Nullifier-class cruiser can cover an entire fleet engagement with its anti-Force field simultaneously. This is an excessive level of coverage for a vessel of this size and classification. Please revise the description of the RT-17 emitters' firing arcs to indicate that while they can traverse 360 degrees, the nullification effect itself is directional or limited to a specific cone or radius. The ship should be required to prioritize which area of the battle space it is protecting or which specific Force phenomenon it is engaging. A single cruiser should not be able to project a fleet-wide protective umbrella without any form of degradation or concentration requirement.

Finally, please address the issue of absorbed energy. The submission describes the ship as a vacuum cleaner for Force power but provides no information on what happens to that energy after it is drawn in. Does the system have a finite capacity? Is there a risk of the KyberSlag crystals becoming unstable or detonating if they absorb too much energy in a short period? A simple line stating that the absorbed energy is harmlessly dissipated into the ship's hull or reactor, or that the emitters can become overloaded and require a cooldown after prolonged exposure to powerful Force manifestations, will close this narrative loophole and prevent the ship from being used as an infinite sponge against any and all Force attacks.

Krass Wyms Krass Wyms ok that was...a lot. But I have made some changes.

I've added an OA "Yellow Dwarf" Sun Reactor to basically allow the ship to absorb a near infinite amount of force energy without shutting down, though I have also added that the emitters may fail in times of high shipboard energy consumption. I have further stated that the anti-force projection the ship creates is limited to a concentrated "beam" of energy, and any near immunity to force based attacks is only applicable to crew standing near the emitters themselves. I have stated that the beams affect all force abilities regardless if they are active or passive, though the ship has no way to distinguish this, making finding passive force users a matter of luck rather than skill or ability. I believe that's everything you asked for, so please let me know if there's anything else or if I missed something.
