  • Born into the poor end of the worker society on Velmor in a human colony, her family didn't exactly have much as she grew up. Her dad had to work two jobs to pay for food, while Larana's mother stayed home to take care of her. Life wasn't exactly easy the first couple of years for the little family, living at the edge of the colony as the work hours from having two jobs were slowly wear Larana's dad down. However, Larana was always a very smiling and happy child from the day she was born, even when things took a turn for the worse when Larana at the age of 6 got sick. Her parents were devastated to learn that a rare gene of chronic deterioration had started to take hold of Larana and unfortunately there wasn't any real solution to the deterioration if it had already been activated. The only thing the doctor could do was to make sure it didn't spread to the rest of Larana's body.

However, it was a very expensive operation, one that would completely ruin the family. Yet, Larana's parents didn't hesitate to take the offer, in order to save their little girl. By selling everything they owned and moving to an even smaller house, both working two jobs, they managed to pull enough credits together, in order to keep the funds for the operation. In the end, Larana survived, having been the youngest person at the age of 6 to have gotten the operation. However, she was completely deaf and had to learn sign language. At first, it was tough, really tough for her, as she had always been a child one who loved talking.

Despite losing her hearing, she kept on smiling, always a ray of sunshine to her parents, even if they had to hide their pain and worries behind smiles to shield Larana. At the age of 8, a terrible explosion happened in the colony, where Larana lived with her parents. A group of freedom fighters had figured out that an Imperial officer lived in the colony with his family and conducted a plan to blow the officer and his house up, to stop him from reporting back to Darth Kados. However, when building the bomb, they made a massive calculating error in the amount of TNT that was needed without noticing it.

When they during the late evening hours, before the officer would send his report, The freedom fighters planted their bomb by his house. When the bomb went off, not only destroyed the explosion the officer's house, him and his sleeping family, but it also took the whole neighborhood as well. While Larana's parents and herself lived in the outer area of the neighborhood, their house was still caught on the edge of the explosion.

Larana woke up to everything silently shaking around her, scaring her. Getting out of bed, Larana started to look for her parent and was greeted with a horrific shock, causing her to stop by the doorframe to the living room. There, on the floor, emotionless and open unmoving eyes were her parents, dead and surrounded by the rubble. Too young to understand what death was, she walked over to her parents, grabbing first her mother's shoulder, shaking it, calling out her name. No response. She then turned to her father, shaking him like her mother, calling out her dad's name, though it fell on deaf ears. Unable to control her emotions, she started to cry, still not completely sure why, yet the stillness of her parents scared her.

After, who knows how long of shaking her parents to wake up, she ended up crawling into her father's arms, just to feel them holding her. Her crying soon became a low sobbing, unknowing to the chaos the explosion had caused to the colony.

Larana had stopped her crying by morning and was just quiet. No smile, no joy, no cheerful emotions. Even as people found her curled up in her dead father's arms, she stayed quiet. When the other colonist tried to get her out, she unknowingly lashed out with the force, without even looking, choking the other colonist. Unsure what to do with the quiet girl in a destroyed house and dead parents, they tried all manners of things, to get her help, yet all attempts ended up in failure.

However, the least expected help arrived later by the colony, Darth Kados. While he originally was just there to figure out why the Imperial Officer never turned in his report, his investigation led him to Larana. While he didn't think much of the two dead Nautolans, surrounding the little 8-year old daughter, he did feel pain and suffering, rumbling inside of her core. Another thing was the strong connection to the force.

Seeing an opportunity for an apprentice, he approached the little girl, which the colonist tried to warm him at first about her powers, but Darth Kados wasn't worried as he started to speak to her in a very heartfelt and fatherly voice. It seemed to do the trick because Larana finally looked up at Darth Kados, letting him guide her away and indirectly adopting the girl as his own.

Over the years of the Nautolan girl's life, living with Darth Kados, he quickly learned of her disability, being completely deaf, only able to write, and do sign language. However, he never knew her real name, because, every time he tried to ask her, she couldn't for some reason. In the end, he ended up calling her Nuff as a nickname, which the girl seemed to like, and little by little it ended up being her name. What Mid also started to notice with the years gone by, was that some of the girl's old personality had started to return, showing a much more happy and cheerful little girl.

Nuff is what some would call a daddy's girl. The young Nautolan looks up to her adoptive father and thinks he's the greatest person in the galaxy. She's also known as the quiet yet smiling girl as she never speaks to anyone.

However, among friends, she can be very cheerful and playful if given the chance, not letting her deafness get in the way of fun. Though she does take after her father in stubbornness, which does cause her to get into a few arguments with her dad over certain things. She likes to train, both to be a better fighter or gain a better understanding of the force.

Nuff has also gotten more curious as she came into her teenage years, feeling brave enough to explore things on her own without having to rely on Mid for a safety line.
  • Strengths and Weaknesses
+Early Sith training - Being found by Mid at a young very young age, she has been put through tough training, shaping her into an efficient fighter, capable of holding her own in a fight.

+Great enduence - Nuff is able to keep on going without tiring for long periods of time.
+Flexible - She has a great talent of getting out of tough situation one way or another.

-Involitary deafness - At a young age Nuff got sick, causing a chronic deterioration of her hearing. Due to loss of hearing, she has to rely on the force to aid her in fighting to make sure she won't get jumped from behind.
-Temperamental stubborness - She can get rather stubborn, taking after her adoptive father, oftentimes getting her into arguments with him.
-Soft side - While she has a knack for assassination and shows indifference towards enemies of her father. She does have a softer side for those she cares about and doesn't necessarily seek to hurt others out of pleasure.
-Lacking of Strength - As she's built for agile and to be quick on her feet, her physical strength is laughable at best.
