Silver fidgeted, her hands gliding along her pink helmet over and over. She had gloves, but she didn’t like them. With long, skinny fingers that were neither adult nor child sized, she often felt like her whole body was made up of rubber-bands and sharp angles. A laugh followed the thought, light and airy, as her fingers drummed out a riff upon the visor. It was an unusual composite, her own creation, chosen for its acoustic value and color. Mostly, out of shear, defiant stubbornness.

Mando’ade didn’t have to mean grim and miserable, anymore, thanks!

She twitched her blond hair out of her eyes, and stared out the window of the rented Land Speeder. It was so slow. But the droid piloting it would neither go faster nor divert from the path it had been assigned. It was hard to sit still, harder to just wait passively when she was so close to being free of supervision!

Well. Leddie would be in charge; that had been made very, very clear. Yet it hardly even counted, because Leddie was her friend, and fun, and liked adventures. A strange, gleaming expanse of azure crept up on her right, and Silver plastered herself to the window, staring in awe. She’d not spent much time on planets, and none on any world that boasted large amounts of free-sanding water.

Oh, what lake is that? How big is it? Who owns it? Can we swim in it? Are their fish? Sharks that can eat you—” Silver tapped on the chrome head of the RD unit that was piloting her, hoping to surprise a response. Instead, the stupid security beacon went off again.

No interfering with the pilot. This is your 10th warning. 100 credits have been deducted from your account.”

The automated recording sniped at her, the droid ignored her. Silver sighed back into silence, watching the magic of sunlight glittering on water. Tapping a query into the small tac comp on her wrist didn’t give her the information she most wanted (about giant sharks) but a long list of battles fought and vessels thought to be lost to its depths followed instead. The later facts diverted her enough that she was beaming when she arrived at her destination and bounced out of the vehicle. “Leddie!” She called. “I’m here!!” Clattering up to the steps leading into the mando-freindly tavern, she pivoted on one foot and bounced in place, grinning from ear-to-ear.

Naboo, one thing new visitors would always rave on about was how beautiful the planet was; To a young thirteen-year-old who had been born and raised on Naboo however, it was easy to take for granted when there were so many wonderful stories and holo films about explorers venturing out into the great unknown. Kristyl was one of those typical young teenagers who wanted to get out there, get into some crazy adventures, see the stars and visit every planet and system along the way!

It was that adventurous spirit that had led her to wander way out towards the lakeside in search of something new to experience. Perhaps she'd meet some new people or see something she'd never seen before, Or maybe she was just letting her imagination run wild and had managed to walk so far away from home that she'd wound up nearby another region. To be fair, this was all pretty common for the young girl and much to the frustration of her mother Asaraa Vaashe Asaraa Vaashe and her big sister Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic . Kris was an avid explorer, following the wild dreams in her head and being too young to consider how things could possibly go wrong.

The lake seemed like something of a hotspot, there being some sort of cantina nearby, although Kris was enjoying the open air and warmth of the sunlight far too much to want to go hang with a bunch of adults! Even so, Kristyl could feel something weird about the place, as though there were something tugging at the back of her mind. Ignore the curiosity, it kills lothcats!

Naboo, the pronounced crown jewel of the galaxy according to those that made the planet home, was steeped richly in history. Officially, Mikilanna never visited the planet before her pending arrival, only hearing the historical tales weaved by her long deceased Master in lesson form. The old man would rant and rave about the planet, preaching in a fanatical religious tone that bordered near obsession. He would speak of key figures as if he met them personally, only to admit at the lecture's conclusion he never been to Naboo personally, earning a rolling of her eyes in response. She knew the old man meant well, well enough for a Sith could anyway, by instructing her on the history of the Sith Order; both in it's tragic and glorious times. She was young, fifteen, during her isolation with the old man where he taught her the philosophy ways of the Sith, the nature of the Dark Side, and the political juggernaut that secretly entombed the Order, leading to what he referred to as 'the unholy indoctrination of unity' among the Sith.

After his death, it was his teachings that led her to leave the dogmatic concept of the Sith Empire upon rescuing herself from that brutal planet that chained her like a slave; forging her upon a path she wholly embraced. She found their conquests to conquer the galaxy tiresome and overplayed; opting to rule her own personal galaxy in her own way. The Sith would always fail, as long as they embraced unity to ensure a combined survival. There was only one way to continue the proper teaching of the Sith Philosophy....

There can only be Two.

Her arrival to Naboo was business not pleasure. However, her mind always sought to find that special person to take as her own Apprentice; but most of the young minds that stumbled across her path were far beyond her teachings. She rather slay them than allow them to be brainwashed by lesser minds. And as much as the old man spoke of Naboo, from the first impressions imposed upon her arrival only strengthened the fact that Naboo would not gift her an Apprentice. So, she turned her attention to why she was here. As the Overseer of the Science Development in the Eternal Empire and Director of The Royal Institute of Science, it was her duty to seek out rogue scientists from other governments and properly invite them to align their work with hers. Most offered the proposed employment, some needed some delicate manipulation techniques to join, and there were a small number that refused that found employment in a cold, unmarked graves. For those that she killed, the expressions on their haunted faces when she revealed her true nature was priceless and sweet. Very, very few knew who and what she was and represented.

Unfamiliar with the layout of the small oceanside city, she needed to find a cantina called Qwint's Place, where the rogue scientist is believed to frequent. After several inquiries, the location of the cantina was revealed to her. But before business, she needed proper nourishment, she she rode the turbolift upward to visit the Fishmonger to sate her growing hunger with fresh fish.

Leddie was enjoying herself right now, happily playing a tune a few of the folks from the Outer Rim showed her. It seemed fitting too. The young Mandalorian would dance around a little as she played, stopping when she heard her name, and soon spotted Silver.

"Silver! How are you? Still in awe about planets?" She would never let Silver live that down. She would quickly get to a chain, stowing her bes'bev before looking around as she chuckled a little.

Gear: From HERE, save the assault rifle.

The song of the bes’bev drew Silver to Leddie like an arrow slung from a bow; she darted to her friend, weaving between adults as though they were obstacles. Her silvery laughter rang out once more, light and airy, with a hint of lightening in its depths. “
This one has water! Real water - it can go over your head! Can you believe it? They’ve lost whole ships in there. We should go on a treasure hunt. Do salvage rights apply on a planet?” Her nose crinkled in disdain. “Well, they should. We could nab ourselves a clone-era ship!”

She yet clutched her pink helm in her hands; matching gauntlets swung at belt. A powered-down vibro-blade bounced upon her back (they’d taken her power cell); an antique pistol and small vibro dagger were well placed for easy drawing at her belt. They could be mistaken for toys, however, given both used rare, no-longer manufactured power cells, their centuries out-of-date design and the pink-and-silver color scheme.

The wind tousled her hair, and she grinned at her friend. “
I still get a deliciously terrifying feel when the wind blows, like our ship just lost seal.” The sense of portent, of destiny waiting just for her, was so strong Silver was almost bursting with it. Her gaze danced around, trying to drink every detail from the crafts upon the water to the curiously unarmored crowd.

This was truly going to be an unforgettable day.

Silver’s eyes gleamed, as Leddie confirmed salvage rights applied even here. “I bet you have to file paperwork. They love paperwork here.” Tapping gleefully upon her wrist computer, she paid 1,000 credits for a membership to an Organization she’d never heard of, for rights she didn’t understand, to a place that more or less sounded like the giant lake beside them.

“There we go! We are now officially treasure hunters. Oya! Let’s go!”

Spinning, she studied the assorted booths renting and selling watercraft. “We need a ship that flies underwater, like Captain Nemo. Which one, Leddie?”

Leddie smiled as Silver excitedly got everything ready. And honestly she was excited too. Then she asked about the kind of ship they'd need. The Zabrak looked around and thought for a moment. "We.... Maybe a Mon Cala or Quaran ship. They're amphibious."
