The time had come. There could be no further delay. There would be no further delay.
First Order Fleets and Armies had seen victory upon victory heaped upon their shoulders, borne upon them.
This day, nor the next, would be any different.
With the lull in fighting along newly claimed space, the First Order intelligence community had turned their eyes galactic North once again. Despite the massive expansion and focus on building infrastructure across the First Order worlds, there yet remained key holes in their sectors. Planets insignificant to the infrastructure or even to be considered a stopping point for resupply along the way - further still, there remained gaps of space unsecured. Today, those planets would see the boots of the First Order hasten to task. Sieger Ren, Supreme Leader of the First Order, has broken his silence, appearing at not one, but two of the previous battles fought against the Alliance - open war was upon the Order. He would not sit by idly.In preparation for the days to come, Sieger's hounds, Knights specifically trained in the arts of tracking and stalking Jedi and rogue Force users, have tracked a particularly slippery cadre of Jedi responsible for raids on First Order scouting outposts in the sector. Their location has been pinpointed, a network of caves and underground structures on the planet of Codia. A planet of plains and forest, the world was painfully undeveloped. It explained why the planet had been overlooked until now. Upon further investigation, it had been discovered that the cadre of Jedi not only had sought refuge amidst the forest of the planet, but within an unlisted Commonwealth facility, long since abandoned or forgotten. Records indicated construction had begun, but never been completed - who knew what state it was in.
It was of no consequence. Their lives would serve to further Sieger's goals, his will - with time, and force, they would serve him in life, or death. The choice would be theirs. Having gathered key members of the Order, Sieger himself would lead them into the fray - an opportunity such as this required the direct touch of Sieger's hand. They'd arrived less than an hour ago, a shuttle in the cover of night, kilometers away from the supposed location where the Jedi had holed up. Sieger had waited for none, his footsteps filled with a vigor not seen of the man for years, even a decade. Through the dark arts, or some strange science, his body had seemingly reversed in age. Though still a weathered man, a light burned anew behind his crimson/amber irises. Even so, a twinge of darkness pooled at the edge of his eyes, blackened veins pronounced at his wrists, his neck. All hidden from view beneath the darkened cowl of his hood. Silently the man brushed the edges of their consciousness, those who followed in his wake. Soon they would be within five hundred meters of the location. A scowl creased his features. He hadn't felt anything, no sign of life, no vibrant container of the Force. Narrowing his eyes, he strained to see ahead through the shroud of night. Stillness, cold, and then a malevolent grin etched its way across his lips. There. A single wink of light. And so our quarry has revealed itself. In only a few moments, they would proceed again, their silent footsteps taking them even closer towards their goal.
"You will take them alive. If they give you no choice, cut them down."

...Elsewhere in the Sector...
"And so shall they serve, in life, in death - their entire being shall serve to further the indomitable will of the Supreme Leader."
- Castor Ren, Knight of Ren

A plethora of additional specifications and readouts scrolled across the screen as the FOSB operative's finger traced across the screen of her data-pad. Full EVA attire, complete with mask obscured her identity, but that wasn't what was important. They'd arrived, unmolested by the forces aboard but for how long was a mystery. *Kriffing revolutionary.* she thought to herself. To date, this hadn't been done - at least not that she'd known. Simulations were great, but more often than not, the real situation on the ground ended up being absolutely nothing like the simulations. Leaps and bounds had happened in human imitation technology, but there was still something missing from their training regimen. This was it.
In an effort to purge criminals from the overtaxed prison system, the First Order had given those on death row an ultimatum. They would serve the Order, even if through death. Armed with confiscated weaponry and melee weapons, these hardened criminals had been set loose on a derelict space station in the system. *How did it go? Man is nature's most dangerous game?* A smirk played at the corner of the woman's lips. This was going to be a hunt to remember. Elements of the First Order Stormtrooper Corps, Special Operations Command, and even the ever mysterious presence of Sieger's personal following had been selected for the exercise. The hangar bay had been stripped of functioning vessels, instead charred hulks of what had been a hodgepodge of civilian freighters and shuttle craft littered the deck. It had been a surprise that the criminals hadn't struck at them immediately, it would have been the best bet for survival, at least according to doctrine - but perhaps that was their failure. Now that the agent and her compatriots had gained entry, it was her job to see what they could find in way of schematics. They were safe for the moment, but that wouldn't last.

Technology has been at the forefront of First Order policy since the outbreak of aggression by the Alliance at Kaeshana. Even now, after the recent construction on the planet of Queravert IV, the First Order strives to create cities and constructs that linger on the edge of imagination. Many of the planets in the Outer Rim remain only partially inhabited, sectors of space left near empty due to the plague of the past. In this region of space, the First Order seeks to build out their infrastructure and establish a presence unrivaled. Having begun discussions with a few of the local mine owners and ranchers (Reek), the First Order has deemed it important to not only establish a presence on the planet, but convince the miners that it is in their best interest to work with the First Order and provide them exclusively with goods. Some are in favor, others are not, but to which side will the scales tip? If there's one thing to be certain of, threats of violence will most certainly tip them against the First Order. Find a way to peaceably secure their mines and resources.
