  • Destroyer: Like their predecessors, Parlemian II-class heavy cruisers are very well armed for ships of their class. Equipped with a great balance of turbolasers, concussion missiles, and smaller laser cannons, they pose a serious threat to warships of all sizes.
  • Pursuer: Powerful, fuel-efficient engines allow Parlemian II cruisers to chase down blockade runners and other fast craft.
  • Flagship: Each Parlemian II is equipped with a full command and control suite, allowing them to serve as flagships for smaller fleets and naval formations.
  • Anti-Starfighter Platform: Compared to the Parlmerian I-class heavy cruiser, the Palmerian II has a significantly heavier point-defense armament, making starfighter attacks against the cruiser or nearby allied ships very risky.
weak.png

  • The Classic Imperial Wedge: The wedge shape of the Parlemian II makes it optimized for forward fire, leaving it vulnerable to attacks from behind or below.
  • Unwieldy: Parlemian II-class heavy cruisers are bulky vessels incapable of making quick maneuvers.
descr.png

Straddling the line between cruiser and Star Destroyer, the Parlemian II-class heavy cruiser is the workhorse of the First Order Navy. Like its predecessor, the Palmerian-I, the Palmerian-II is a superb multirole warship capable of fitting seamlessly into any fleet or formation.

On their own, Palmerian-IIs make great patrol craft due to their high endurance and firepower far above that of most infiltrators or pirates. In small formations, Palmerian-IIs can form relatively inexpensive battle groups capable of threatening even battlecruisers by concentrating their firepower. Palmerian-II cruisers make great escorts for
Resurgent Mk. III Star Destroyers: the Palmerian’s high speed allows it to pursue ships too fast for the hulking Resurgent while the Resurgent’s enormous firepower is often more than sufficient to drive off any threats to a Palmerian.

More commonly, in situations where the First Order cannot spare a Resurgent Mk. III, the Palmerian-II is capable of leading smaller flotillas and task forces thanks to its large command suite.

Compared to its predecessor, the Palmerian II has stronger shielding and a significantly heavier point-defense armament.

The Palmerian-class heavy cruiser is designed to be the workhorse of a fleet, equipped with a respectable mix of firepower, defenses, troop capacity, endurance, and affordability. Heavily inspired by the Victory-class Star Destroyer, the Palmerian cruiser offers several incremental improvements over the older Victory design. These improvements include superior defenses, higher top speed, and a far less conspicuous command bridge, affording its officers superior protection against targeted strikes.

Like the Victorys, Palmerians are effective multipurpose vessels. On their own, Palmerian cruisers make great patrol craft due to their high endurance and firepower far above that of most infiltrators or pirates. In small formations, Palmerians can form relatively inexpensive battle groups capable of threatening even battlecruisers by concentrating their firepower. Additionally, Palmerian cruisers make great escorts for Star Destroyers, battlecruisers, and Star Dreadnoughts due to their high speed and large, configurable complement of anti-starfighter weapons. Palmerians themselves can serve as command ships for smaller flotillas and task forces where a Star Destroyer is either unnecessary or too costly to operate.

The mass production of the Palmerian-class heavy cruiser represents a major advance for Alge Imperial Shipyards in its rise as a premier Tingel Arms shipbuilder. The Palmerian is more than twice the length of AISI's next largest widely produced vessel, the Extoller-class frigate killer, a feat made possible by the significant upgrades to AISI's orbital shipyards between 900 and 902 ABY. Lessons learned from development of the Palmerian cruisers have proven invaluable to AISI's engineering team, laying the framework for the mass production of even larger vessels.

Most importantly for Alge Imperial Shipyards, Palmerian-class heavy cruisers are highly modular and inexpensive to produce. Consequently, AISI views the Palmerian cruisers as one of its core revenue-earning products. While only a few dozen exist in the galaxy as of 902 ABY, it is envisioned that one day thousands of Palmerians will serve in fleets fighting battles in every corner of the galaxy.

  • Landing Gears: Each Alacus-class heavy transport possesses ten large retractable struts, which serve to support the transport’s weight on a planetary surface and distribute it over a larger area. As long as at least eight of the ten struts are intact, an Alacus can safely land on any stable surface.
  • Boarding Ramp: Despite its name, the boarding ramp is not used for transporting troops onto hostile warships. Instead, the 200 meter long, 40 meter long ramp extends from the bottom of an Alacus’ hull onto a planetary surface at a 15 degree angle. The top of the ramp is directly connected to the troop staging area in the lower deck, allowing for rapid deployment of large amounts of soldiers.
strengths.png

  • Portable Invasion: A single Alacus can carry a full legion of First Order stormtroopers or two divisions of the First Order Army alongside all the artillery and armor they are equipped with. Furthermore, Alacus-class heavy transports can enter planetary atmospheres and after landing on the surface unload their entire complement directly from their hangars using a massive boarding ramp.
  • Mothership: If a planet is too dangerous or physically unstable for an Alacus to land directly on its surface, it can deploy numerous gunships and troop transports from its large hangar bays to rapidly deploy large amounts of ground forces.
weak.png

  • Not a Warship: The Alacus-class heavy transport is lightly armed for a cruiser with few weapons capable of seriously threatening capital ships of its size, making it unsuitable for frontline naval combat.
  • Standing on Stilts: The most vulnerable part of an Alacus is its landing gears: destroying at least two on one side of the heavy transport will cause the other gears to collapse under the ship’s weight, sending it hurtling towards the ground usually causing significant damage to its vertical thrusters.
descr.png

Heavily inspired by the late Republic and Imperial era Accalamator-class assault ship, the Alacus-class heavy transport is the First Order’s principal naval platform for initiating planetary invasions. Like the Acclamator, the Alacus is a flying barracks with an enormous troop capacity, capable of carrying up to 20,000 soldiers, 500 artillery pieces, 100 armored vehicles, and 25 walkers within its spacious interior.

Alge Imperial has designed the Alacus-class heavy transport as a key link between naval and ground forces, capable of massing armies in orbit and then deploying them onto a planet in a quick and orderly fashion. Its powerful vertical thrusters make it fully capable of entering most atmospheres, where it can ascend or descend at speeds of up to 500 km/h.

Once above a surface-based staging area, an Alacus deploys its landing gear, allowing it to lower its boarding ramp and disgorge hundreds of troopers and dozens of tanks or walkers at a time. Alternately, if a particular planetary surface is too unstable for the immense weight of the Alacus, its cavernous hangars are capable of storing several squads of troop transports and gunships to facilitate a planetary landing.

SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Juggernaut: Golythan Pattern Combat Armor is incredibly durable, capable of resisting repeated blaster fire and even lightsabers while providing nearly unbroken, full-body coverage.
  • All-Terrain: Golythan Pattern Combat Armor provides excellent environmental protection, especially against fire and intense heat. Additionally, its ultrachrome composition makes it highly resistant to metal-eating organisms and its magnetic grip boots give the user excellent traction on metallic surfaces.
  • Power Suit: Thanks to the suit’s crushgaunts, Golythan Pattern Combat Armor can increase the arm strength of its wearer.
WEAKNESSES
  • Weak Spots: While Golythan Pattern Combat Armor provides nearly complete full-body coverage, there are gaps in the plating on the wearer’s neck, shoulders, and elbows that are covered only a light bodyglove.
  • Lightning Rod: As a result of the ultrachrome in its composite plating, Golythan Pattern Combat Armor is superconductive, offering only minimal resistance to EMP attacks as well as any form of charged electricity.
  • Total Failure: Golythan Pattern Combat Armor’s resistance to lightsabers exists since it conducts the energy of the lightsaber blade evenly throughout its entire mass. Should an armor plate be struck repeatedly by a lightsaber however, the entire plate will melt rather than only the parts struck by the lightsaber, leaving a large portion of the wearer vulnerable to other attacks.
DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the First Order’s standard Aurek Pattern Combat Armor but significantly upgraded by comparison, Golythan Pattern Combat Armor represents the pinnacle of protection for stormtroopers. Designed specifically for General FN-999 (restored) FN-999 (restored) with his dimensions in mind, Golythan armor towers over the average Aurek suit. Even more distinct than the armor’s large size is its distinctive silver tint derived from the high concentration of ultrachrome present in its alloy.

Purchased at great cost, ultrachrome also provides many of Golythan armor’s most beneficial properties, including blaster and lightsaber protection above and beyond standard stormtrooper armor.

  • Big Boom: Desecrator cannons inflict heavy damage over a very wide radius, making them perfect for pulverizing massed infantry or armored vehicles.
  • Indirect Fire: The Desecrator cannon fires physical shells, which can be aimed using gravity to arc behind obstacles.
  • Long-Range: The HFA-18 Desecrator can engage targets up to 90km away, allowing it to easily outrange most ground vehicles and infantry.

weak.png

  • What Goes Up...: Since the Desecrator cannon fires physical shells, it must be aimed taking gravity and wind speed into account or else its projectiles will miss their mark, especially at larger range.
  • Slow Charge: The HFA-18 Desecrator can only fire six shots a minute, limiting its effectiveness against faster-moving targets.
descr.png

No proper army is complete without its artillery, and the First Order's ground forces are no exception.
The HFA-18 Desecrator is a simple but highly effective artillery cannon centered around a large rifled barrel capable of launching 180mm shells as far as 90km away. Requiring only a small power generator and a single gunner to operate, Desecrators are flexible and cost-effective weapons capable of being placed nearly anywhere the First Order needs them.

In First Order service the Desecrator has both offensive and defensive applications. On the offense, Desecrators can be attached to walkers or self-propelled artillery to pound away at hostile fortifications from afar, enabling infantry and stormtroopers to find and exploit breaches in the enemy line. On the defense, the HFA-18 can be fitted to fortifications or arranged in a line behind First Order infantry to pummel invading forces, blunting the enemy advance enough to allow an effective defense.
