Grown out of a need for a domestic source of terraforming equipment, material, and the logistics support for the colonization of the resource-rich moons of Crossroads, New Start Colonization Firm is the firm whose job it is to get them colonized and have been doing so for hundreds of years, also expanding into the private sector and doing work for other private colonization efforts. But the firm's powerful overseer, the Crossroads Republic government itself, prevents it from doing business with other government entities on their own.
