Production Information

  • Manufacturer: Darth Nexus
  • Model:N/A
  • Affiliation: Darth Nexus
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Alchemized Beskar, Alchemized Durasteel, Armorweave fabric, Drexl Leather, Armor weave leather

Technical Specifications

  • Classification: Other
  • Weight: Very Heavy
Resistances:
  • Blasters: Very High
  • Kinetic: High
  • Lightsabers: Very High
  • Other:
  • EMP/Ion: Low
  • Elemental: Low

Special Features:
  • Alchemized: The armor of Darth Nexus is already inherently strong, however with the use of sith alchemy, the armor has an unnatural surface that can cause bolts to ricochet up on impact. It is also resistant to lightsaber strikes, though prolonged contact with cause heat damage.
  • Separated plates: While the armor is bulky, it consists of many individual parts, which are held on by special apparatus, versus being a singular interconnected suit. This makes the armor more mobile though it loses some of the defensive qualities
  • Bonding points: Upon the undersuit, special magnetized bonding points keep the armor in place, which allows more mobility in the armor, as well as the ability to ‘summon’ plates from a short distance, as well as dislodge them at will.

Strengths
  • Damage Resistance: Given the armor’s alchemical nature, it is resilient to many forms of attack including lightsabers and blasters.
  • Super Conductor: As a commonality among sith influenced items, the suit can act as a super conductor for energy, which makes conventional force based lightning attacks ineffective unless it is over a prolonged period.
  • Thick Armor Plates: The thickness of the plates makes the armor able to withstand considerable kinetic trauma

Weakness
  • Very Heavy: Due to the weight of the armor, Nexus is not as nimble; he is unable to move at fast speeds without the aid of momentum or the force
  • Separated Plates: While the separated plates gives Nexus more freedom in mobility, it also leaves him vulnerable to precise strikes between the plates.
  • Weak against EMPs: Due to the suits magnetic bonds, if Nexus were to encounter an EMP based attack, his armor plates would come loose and fall off as the bonds would be disabled.

Description
The Armor of the Lord of Chaos was wrought from death, war and metal. The cuirass was made from Beskar ripped from the corpses of slain Mandalorians, as were his gauntlets. His Pauldrons, greaves and boots, however, were forged from durasteel. He did not have a gorget, but instead had a wampa’s hide which draped his shoulders, and a crimson hood. The entire suit was alchemized, granting it defensive properties.

Darth Nexus’ plate armor was made during the Mandalorian Civil Wars in 614 ABY, which he helped instigate. With the death of Reyn Skirata, the acting Mand’alor, the clans rallied under two banners- Loyalists (who believed that the next Mand’alor should be Reyn’s son, Tywin) and the Usurpers (who believed that the next Mand’alor should be a more progressive leader- Aliik Ordo). The Loyalists had the tactical advantage of resources and strongholds, while the Usurpers were underdogs.

As a result of such, they sought the help of Darth Nexus, who once identified himself as a Mandalorian and lived among them for several years. Aliik Ordo, who lated became Mand’alor the Wanderer, made a pact with the Lord of Chaos- in exchange for his assistance, Nexus would receive armor and a weapon crafted by a master smith from Clan Fett.

The Lord of Chaos took the offer, and at the battle of Ca’tra Werde (Darkest Night), the Dark Tide sprung an attack upon the loyalist strongholds. With the element of surprise, coupled with their military might, the Loyalists were slaughtered by the Dark Tide and the Usurpers.

After the battle, Nexus claimed his boons; the armor and blade were forged from the beskar’gam of the Loyalists, and bonded alchemically by the Dark Lord of Chaos. From that day on, when ever he strode upon a battlefield, many knew to fear him- he was Nexus the Destroyer. As for Aliik Ordo, he became Mand’alor the Wanderer, as many of his kin disavowed themselves of him for granting the gift of Beskar’gam to an outsider, especially one with the blood of so many Mandalorians on his hands.

Love to see a good set of armor!

So I'm going to need you to do one thing before we get underway. Please review the Armor template and add all fields in that template, even if they are not being used simply give them an N/A.
