Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

- Intent: To expand and lore ideas outside of the galaxy

- Name: Morishi
- Designation: Sentient
- Origins: Extra-Galactic
- Average Lifespan: Several Hundred Thousand with hibernation
- Estimated Population: Scattered
- Description: Titanic in size, the species is actually two things... a creature and the planet itself. The planet being attached by trillions of super thin thread like membranes to a stalk within the Morishi's mouth. Acting like a lure to bring other species close to the planet and slowly be devoured as it swallows the world. The creature itself is covered in pore filled scales that release gases from its body creating a nebula to conceal it as it spends time to lure creatures in to the planet.
- Breathes: Type IV
- Average Height of Adults: 200k+
- Average Length of Adults: 900k+
- Skin color: Black with specks of white, purples and swirls of others allowing it to blend into the nebula it creates.
- Hair color: N/A
- Distinctions:
- Planetary Lure
- Able to hibernate for tens of thousands of years
- Produces Nebula gasses
- Races: N/A
- Force Sensitivity: Force Dead
- Lure: Its world is a massive lure, rich with the sensation of life and bio diversity that is ideal for resources and many worlds that wish to make colonies.
- Age: It as a species is able to live for hundreds of thousands of years even without food. Its body processes what is taken from the world when it does eat over tens of thousands of years and it hibernates once it finds a new place to sleep.
- Size: The massive size of the creature makes it when it is moving highly visible.
- Force Senses: The species does not feel the force at all and finds at times force users delicious. Force users can usually detect a wrongness to the worlds they use to lure others in and be aware of a presence watching them.
- Gas Sacks: The sacks that produce the nebula gasses around them are highly sensitive and volatile. The unreleased gasses in the sacks can be explosive when attacked.
- Diet: Omnivore: They eat what is on the surface of the world they have created. Organic and inorganic matter alike being broken down along with whatever is there within the area.
- Communication: N/A
- Technology level: Below Galactic Standard
- Religion/Beliefs: Written in some of the oldest texts as observations. They are present when worlds disappear from the skies or bring them. The texts largely are obscure across the galaxies and within the archives of the jedi are even more obscure as it is considered a myth even by some of the most accepting scholars.
- General behavior: The creature rarely is ever observed, not many can live long enough to see it appear and eventually eat but information, legends and archives by other species have it. The creature will generally enter a system and go to a place it can spread out.. releasing nebula gasses from sacks on its body while a lure appears. The lure will attract travelers, spaceborne creatures like purgill which will fly into the mouth of the creature and some may be captured in its maw or remain there when it finally awakens and encloses its world. Taking the matter on the surface and leaving a rich slurrry that resparks life and bacteria or smaller organisms to create the life signs on the world again when it gets to a new place. By all accounts they are not aggressive as few things can be their predators and super worlds for resources and life are left behind after they perish.
Massive in size and capabilities, they were often seen in the skies luring ancient purgil to them before eventually disappearing. Some reports of worlds appearing in the skies with clouds by tens of thousands of species but there not being anything after tens of thousands of years. Investigating by early explorers and jedi were near unheard of but some worlds might have disappearances... a ship of cartographers disappearing could be seen as early hazards. Missing ships at coordinates might be seen as them getting lost. The jedi never putting much into the archives except for a vague reference to seeing a planet swallowed by something and when a team was able to be dispatched there was nothing there but the jedi reported a presence which had drawn them in.
Thousands of years later the Silver jedi when exploring the disputed worlds discovered an ideal world... rich in resources and beauty. There were several drones released onto the world and it was described as strange. Something on the world was here but they couldn't sense it like being underwater. They couldn't sense anything but then there was a shift. The planet itself shaking as sips in the system described the nebula the world was within and near itself seemed to move. Something moving through it as the world and several jedi biots, drones and a ship were swallowed by what was described almost as a big fish. The planet from scans seemed to be almost a lure like for deep water creatures where it is blackness. Matsu sending more teams to try and find any information.
That search returned to them small details, legends, myths, stories of worlds disappearing from systems in the night or appearing. Always with a nebula around it and the worlds when they could be explored seemed to always been rich in natural resources and lifesigns. Other stories and reports of similar things across the galaxies that were able to be visited withe their extra-galactic emissaries and temple.
