- Average Height: 1-2 meters
- Requires the tropical, and humid atmosphere of Felucia to grow. This plant is usually grows in caverns near the Jungle Felucian settlements, but they can also be found in the wild growing in the shade under the worlds giant mushrooms, amongst the horned fungi and slime molds.
Strengths:
- Sap: The most prominent trait of the Broadroot is its natural ability to secrete a sap like substance that hardens its exterior to great proportions. Its jelly like exterior shifts over time into a translucent shell casing that acts as an armor, it prevents predators from getting to its central organs and the water that it holds inside. Its level of durability is comparable to the scaly armored hides of Akk dogs. The only way around that is to dig it up from the roots so that its no longer connected to the soil.

- Roots: The only thing that triggers its defense mechanism is its roots feeling the vibrations of things approaching and moving in proximity of the plant. Whether the sap is secreted, you could simply dig this plant up and it would render it lifeless after that. Somebody, with repeated blunt trauma and effort, could simply crack the outer shell as if it were an egg; it only remains extremely durable as long as its roots are intact and it maintains the relationship with its environment.
- Short life span: There are 3 types of photosynthesis, it lives in the second phase, which places inhibitions on its photorespiration, making it hard for it to forgo photosynthesis. Won't live a naturally long life.
Distinctions:
- Like all flora on Felucia, the Mora Broadroot has a rubber and translucent appearance to it, and glittered in the sun. Its body was a bulbous shape, translucent in appearance that encased a blue color on the inside. It soaked up the moisture in the air and stored it inside, hinting towards the blue and clear colors on the inside. Also, on the inside was its central organs, its roots stretched a few feet outwards, and it could identify threats in its environments from the vibrations it gave off. Like most Flora and Fauna on the planet, it has developed its own defenses. When in danger it secretes a translucent sap that hardens its outer layer.

History: This plant has been around since the beginning, the Felucian tribes have always known of its existence due to it growing in proximity to where they build their homes. Due to their connection to the energy field on Felucia, as most things are, they were able to form a relationship with the plants, giving them access to its many qualities and using it for conventional, and defensive means. The tribes have learned to harvest and cultivate the plants, they use them as a water source, and makes use of their thick sap like substance to draw and make their tribal tattoos and marks.
Intent: To create another species of plant that the Jungle Felucians have formed a symbiotic relationship with, and a plant with unique qualities that they have discovered uses for amongst the tribe, for which Sochi would later discover for her own personal use.
