STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
(+) After the rampant, runaway success of RCFC, Rusty finds himself with quite a bit of personal wealth. For the first time in centuries, his droid body is in good repair, and he also has an HRD chassis to play with if the situation calls for it.
(+) Since he owns one of the premier weapons development firms in the galaxy, Rusty has access to all the latest and greatest toys. Though he still favors Gertrude above all others, it's nothing for him to conjure up some new and terrifying prototype if the situation calls for it.
(+) If anything, the success of RCFC has made him an even deadlier combatant. No longer forced to use cut rate equipment in an aging and mechanically decrepit body, Rusty is at full fighting prowess these days.
(-) Though he'd never admit it, ever since he and the Captain parted ways, Rusty has felt lost and desperately lonely. This has left him somewhat reckless and robbed him of a fair bit of his pragmatism.
(-) Rusty has grown used to the world of high business. As a result, he's had to tune his reactions and responses, otherwise every boardroom he entered would turn into an abattoir. While this makes him more able to stand executives, it's dulled his reflexes somewhat. While he's at the height of his fighting prowess, it takes him longer to react to threats than when he was constantly living on the edge.

APPEARANCE:
Rusty looks and acts human, convincingly enough that, unless you’ve seen under the cloak he wears more or less constantly, you wouldn’t know otherwise. He stands exactly two meters tall barefoot, though he always wears heavy boots, which add another few centimeters. He favors dark grays and browns that allow him to blend in with shadows more effectively than pure black.

BIOGRAPHY:
Much of Rusty's early life is a mystery, even to himself. For centuries after the massacre of the Shards at the hands of Palpatine's Empire, he roamed the galaxy as a barely sane reaver, killing any Sith he could find, consequences be damned. As the centuries passed, he slowly regained some semblance of lucidity, picking his targets more carefully. One day, in a dive bar, he saved a woman from a beating at the hands of some sabacc players who were most unhappy with her inability to pay off her bets. From that point on, the two seemed inseparable. Though Rusty still felt the call to kill Sith, his loyalty was with the Captain, and he defended her against all comers, and often from herself.

Eventually, their small shipping business turned enough of a profit that he was able to start up a business, Rusty's Custom Firearms and Cutlery. Originally a small gun store in the bad part of Breehara, RCFC quickly gained a reputation for producing quality weapons and armor, and expanded rapidly. Rusty found his attention diverted from the Captain as the explosive growth called for more and more of his time.

After several years travelling with the Captain, the pressure to handle RCFC full time, as well as a series of arguments, led them to part ways, possibly forever. He didn't realize how much the Captain meant to him until she was no longer in his life. Though incapable of what organics would call love, he none the less deeply regrets how things ended between them. He's often contemplated calling her up and trying to mend their friendship, but uncertainty always stayed his hand. He's not sure if she'd pick up if he called, and even if she did, he has no idea what to say.

Recently, the guilt over what happened with the Captain, combined with loneliness and a desperate desire to climb out of the corporate tomb he built for himself, have manifested into a serious case of wanderlust. Rusty never passes up an opportunity to get out of the office, and has found time as of late to rekindle his obsession with killing Sith. It's not uncommon to find him wandering around the fringes of civilization, looking for trouble and maybe, just maybe, companionship.
