DESCRIPTION
The Imperial Mobile Spacedock 231 is an improved variant of the Mobile Spacedock 220 utilized by the Former Galactic Alliance Remnant. Developed by the Empire in response to the upcoming war with the Galactic Alliance after the closure of the Second Great Hyperspace War. The Mobile Spacedock is meant to replace the stationary dockyards that are currently scattered throughout the empire's territory. The current theory from Imperial High Command being that stationary dockyards are vulnerable from sabotage and direct attacks from Alliance Special Forces, which would hinder the full deployment of the Imperial Navy due to having to redirect vessels from the front to protect them. The 231 on the other hand can be deployed across the front in order to repair vessels damaged from fighting.
